I haven’t been back to San Francisco since we scattered my mom’s ashes out by Treasure Island. And today , we are doing the same for my Uncle Sydney 😢, my Drive to this Motel was 12 hrs, however, The manager was able to accommodate my family at the last minute,
Clean spacious room , we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Also , got to show my son where his late grandfather went Perch fishing on Ocean Beach , my Ulloa Elementary School, the playground nearby 💗 Treasured memories, thank you Beach Motel for making it a pleasant experience !!

So.. my boyfriend got us a night to stay at this place, (he didn't read the reviews if that was already obvious lol) We saw a couple of tweakers arguing in the front of their room. Should of seen that as a big red flag before even stepping foot into that room.We walk in and I was already have bad vibes, I checked the drawers and this was there..
We didnt even stay for 5 minutes.

We had a two bed room, there was blood on the sheets, curtains, closet wall, and bathroom curtains. No garbage bin, the room it's self looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months.
The owner told us he was charging our card regardless if we stayed or not. Refused to give us a refund after we saw the condition of the room.
To put it simply there are this place was completely unacceptable. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Unsure of the experiences in the low reviews but I whole heartedly believe this place doesn’t deserve the low average rating. Easy check in. Well priced, clean, within short walking distance of the beach. Walking distance of stores and restaurants. If you’re looking for a safe, convenient, clean, and reliable place to stay in the area. An area next to the beach and on the train line to downtown SF, this is your place. Stay here every time we are on the area. :)

The shitstain on the ceiling is absolutely spectacular, reminds me of the early works of Picasso, i love that there's not even a garbage bin for $100/night, don't even get me started on the ripped open rotting couch. The front desk service was almost a full one star, I would have given it if only the clerk would have shat in our faces, that is the only thing we missed!

This hotel is absolutely disgusting, filthy, smells like gasoline coming out of the vents. They use gas station soap for shampoo/conditioner. I found bugs in the bathroom. The bedding was dirty and smelt extremely musty. I also found it very strange that the owner has a dog he's a cute little beagle mix. But what I found that was strange is he doesn't allow pets at this hotel. Yet he lives at the hotel with his dog that I seen using the parking lot as a restroom at around midnight. That makes no sense, your aloud to have your dog there but no one else can?

Horrible! I've stayed here quite a few times over the last few years (despite the loud N Judah train). I am a small business owner with an office near this hotel. I used to have team members or guests that were visiting stay at the hotel as well. Now, under "new management" according to the owner- they are extremely rude and the quality has dropped significantly. I AM NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN.

On a family road trip, my parents wanted to stay overnight at a hotel/motel to rest up for the next day. Due to an event that is going on in the city this was the only motel that was available for the night. I was a little put off due to the bad ratings, but I am very impressed with the service that I got. Although it is not accessible, and the carpet in the room smells old it is a comfortable place. We got to the parking lot and there were no more spaces, we asked the man in the front if there were anymore parking spaces and he was able to regulate and kick some bar-goers out of the parking lot

Garbage! This is a TERRIBLE establishment. I tried to call them over the phone and they were rude. They would not answer simple questions. The manager BOB was profane and hung up the phone on my when i asked about availability and when i called back, he told me that he didn't have to talk to me and hung up again
If there was an option for no stars or negative stars... thats what i would give this place...

This is one of the places I love to stay the most, is clean bit noisy cause of muni but if you g St the right room is just perfect, is walk distance to the beach and very good restaurants which I have try them all and trust me love them all, different kind of food it all depends on your mood just love it

This hotel had a good location and a great price, but it also came along with bed bugs (the sheets were covered in small
dried blood stains and the bugs were easy to spot on the mattress) and a cold, insensitive manager, Bob. Just beware if you do come here, you could easily take the pests home with you. Take precautions if you can.

If you want to hear drug dealers and tweakers right next store to your hotel room, stay here!!! Right next to the beach, which is awesome,But the room was absolutely terrible. Needs a total remodel, we stayed here on a Saturday night. If you're looking to save a little money honestly just sleep in your car. The hotel room we stayed in (28) was filthy, including the sheets. Luckily we are on a road trip and brought blankets that we used instead. Will never stay here again.

Overall, the place is very sketchy. My boyfriend and I came here to rest.. we asked the motel employee how much it would cost per night to stay. Honestly my boyfriend just needed to rest before going back home since it's a long drive. The employee replied $124 plus tax.. and then we asked how much with tax.. he said $134.. so my boyfriend gave him $140 since we didn't have change. Then when my boyfriend asks for change, the guy says.. oh it's $144, but it's okay.. like I'm not stupid.. since when does tax cost that much?! That's ridiculous. Trying to rip us off. The

This place seemed like it was decently rated, but I'll give it a G for gross. Paid for a roll away bed which they refused to deliver, no screens on full length window you could easily trip out of 15 feet down onto the street. Old and filthy carpet, broken and rusty fixtures. Muni runs right in front of hotel. Hair in the sheets. Hair on the bathroom floor. If you haven't booked DO NOT PICK THOS PLACE!

They put us in room 17 above a loud hipster bar that was bumping music until 2 am. N-Judah train runs very late into the night right outside the window, and starts up again at sunrise. We had to get up and out of the hotel by 8 for an event and got virtually no sleep. Room was FILTHY, holes in walls and floors, complete with one window that wouldn't close on the fire escape. Woke up with spider bites all up and down my right arm. Tried seeking a refund from "BOB PATEL" the manager on duty and he would

I read the reviews before hand and understood the downfalls, such as Muni and the loud bar downstairs. This was NYE and my husband and I were just looking for a few BASIC things.
We wanted to be close to the beach. That we were. Then we wanted a refrigerator because we were staying in the room for New years. We brought food and beverage. We get there and the refrigerator is frozen shut. Like 6 years frozen. My husband went down and asked for a working refrigerator and the man said unplug it.

Did I come all the way to Sf to stay in the hotel? Hell no. Am I rich? Hell no. I picked this place for 2 reasons:
1. I grew up in the Sunset District & wanted to stay there with my son on his first trip to the city
2. I believe it is the least expensive hotel in San Francisco
Best location - away from the craziness of Downtown and still right in the city. Free wifi & cable, nice flat screen tv, newer mattress, had a mini-fridge & microwave in room, plenty of free parking, nice coffee shops & a 7-11 both within about a block, 5-10 minute walk to the beach or Golden Gate Park,

I got a taste of the manager's rudeness even before I arrived. I made a change to my reservation via email and later called to confirm they received it. He said he couldn't find my reservations and kept insisting that if I had booked under a third party such as Expedia, I had to contact them. I knew I had made the reservations directly on Beach Motel's website but he made me think otherwise.
