We had a wonderful stay here. It's a beautiful hotel and our room (junior suite) was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were sad to leave but we'll be back!

Lovely front desk attendant. He was very accommodating and helpful and pleasant. The room had high ceilings and an a/c which came in handy. Super comfy bed and pillows. the location was also great for public transit. I would definitely stay here again. Call the hotel directly instead of using a third party booking site and they'll offer you a much better deal. I was arriving before 3 pm check in and they said they would have my room cleaned first so that I could have it ready by my 1 pm arrival time. They also held our bags when we checked so we could hangout in the area comfortably.

DO NOT STAY HERE ! Wish I could give them 0 stars . It's terrible customer services and the room cleaners are thieves . We had been staying in this hotel a lot whenever we have a trip to the city . Last time I forgot my jimmy choo shoes (700$) after we checked out . We called the front desk to help us and they check the lost and found, but they said didn't see anything left in the lost and found room ...bla bla bla . Ok ! Mean ! They stole them .
Again , I just stayed at the hotel last Wednesday and forgot my phone charger (25$) in the room and called them in the afternoon, then they

My first trip after no travel during the pandemic was a surprise visit to San Francisco to visit my daughter for her birthday. I wanted to stay somewhere close and also somewhere fun. Back in the day I used to go to the bar here and remembered it as being historic and beautiful. It hit the mark. They upgraded me to the Cyril Magnin suite, Which was a large living area with a pull out couch, fireplace and other seating with a view of the city streets and also a bedroom with a king size canopy bed. Bathroom was beautiful, double sinks and marble with high ceilings. There was a flat screen TV in

Stayed 2 nights. Beautiful old hotel. Staff was super friendly! No on-site parking available which I hated. We parked a few blocks away and it was cold/windy walking to the hotel. The beds were so hard! We stayed in the master suite. The walls were thin. You can hear people's footsteps all night so it was hard to fall asleep.

I WANT TO LIVE HERE.
Honestly for being an older boutique hotel, this place is a 10/10 in my book. Idk if it's just the amazingly gorgeous gold detailing all over the rooms, all the vintage vibes, the old fashioned bathtubs, the beautiful princess like canopy beds, or the fact that I'm a little vintage cottage core princess in my fantasies, but I 100% love this hotel and I honestly don't think I'll ever be staying at another one when in the city again. Not only is the hotel beautiful, but I also received great customer service from Raj. He was so helpful, patient, and accommodating

When you get ready to step into the elevator and 2 staff members come off with no masks on that should tell you enough about this place

Quaint little bar with amazing butterfly cases on the wall...the craft cocktails Jennings and blueberry mojito were amazing! Worth taking the time to escape the bustle of downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.

Cool place! CA images projected onto the back wall which is cool. Wasn't too crowded for a Friday night.

Love this hotel but the bar tender is horrible! Drinks are horrible and he grabbed top shelf for every drink without giving us a choice...not cool! I had to tell him how to make Collins mix....$45 for three drinks...hell no!

CLASSIC hotel meets CLASSY staff! This was my experience at San Francisco's longest running hotel, the Hotel Majestic. Located conveniently in lower Pacific Heights, I was pleasantly surprised at how close I was to everything: Japantown, restaurants, and more. If you are looking to be close to some of the Bay Area's best spots, then this is the place for you.

The hotel was terrific. From the 'sweet' suite, to the brilliant ballroom located on the first floor - I had a great time there. My stay was during the Asian Film Festival, which meant the hotel was packed! That said

Stayed at this hotel a few times and it definitely is "majestic"! Every room has lots of space so it feels worth it for the amount you pay. Location is pretty close to Japan town.

10/10 would return whenever I go to the city

Choose to stay at Hotel Majestic when visiting San Francisco! There's an amazing cafe and bar to satisfy your tastebuds. Justin & his staff are incredibly friendly and wonderful to their guests.

The location of this hotel is central to many great coffee shops, restaurants and the downtown area. Justin booked a very fancy comfortable room for us. The luscious room size, bed, bathroom and space fit my needs while I stayed in San Francisco.

Was here for a friend's birthday party and it was excellent. It's a "locals" type of place and is in a scenic area of San Francisco. The staff were friendly and competent. Although they really didn't do coat checks, the desk clerk held my coat with no problem. The buffet food was decent and the wine was very good. Parking is extremely limited but it's served by Muni. It's an older place so it's really to their credit that there was no musty smell.

Hosted my 30th birthday party here -- and loved every minute of it. Justin and his team are very fun and easy to work with. From our first point of contact to the last -- he was on it and keen on ensuring we had a good time. They cared about our event as though it were their own. I highly recommend them for any event, birthday, baby shower, small wedding reception -- they are awesome.

Gave us fun ideas and accommodated us with our theme every step of the way. Can't wait to have another event here -- in the meantime will settle for their awesome bar. Do check it out -- Mindy makes the innovative

First of all, do your research before you stay here so you will know if it's a good fit for you. Go to their website and understand this hotel is over 100 years old. Also understand it isn't going to have a speedy elevator and AC. It's a historic building and has to and should stay that way.

I picked this place on recommendation from a friend, and because the location was two miles from my destination for work, and the price was right. I also did research on this hotel and knew what I was getting into.

This hotel is quintessential San Francisco. I stayed here three nights

You get what you pay for and with Hotel Majestic,I paid a couple of hundred bucks and got a very unique, historic and Whimsy experience.

My first room was used and not ready for me so CHRIS was AMAZING and upgraded me to what they did have available which was a wonderful cute mini suite with an equally small yet whimsy bath. See images. I had an AWESOME view of Sutter street and it was surprisingly not to noisy! I LOVE LOVE that I could open the windows and let fresh air in - no screens, bars, etc on windows. Cute little fireplace....love the 1920's inspired tapestry.

CHRIS was super helpful
