Our restaurant features an open floor plan offering gorgeous views of the bay to every seat in the house. All event spaces have a unique semi-private feel. Due to our unique floor plan Barrel House Tavern does not offer a formal private dining area, unless the restaurant has been exclusively bought out for the day of the event.

Seated on the patio/balcony, perched right over the water, is fabulous. Everything else — drinks, menu, the rhythm and timeliness of service, is good to fair.
The bathrooms were poorly maintained.
The bartender frequently took his mask off: something we **never** saw elsewhere in a Marin county restaurant during the pandemic.
Indoor seating, especially for tables nowhere near the window, lacks charm.

This is a beautiful restaurant right on the water. We were a party of 10 and were seated downstairs in the patio. The weather was perfect and so was the food. Everything that was ordered was prepared well, plated beautifully and was very tasty. Our server Javier was not only friendly and since we were limited on time, was also very efficient.

Great experience! The views were spectacular and the restaurant was gorgeous. Service was average but everything else was on point. We ordered the king salmon and the mushroom ravioli along with drinks and we all agreed that it was the best meal we had since arriving in California a week ago. Definitely disappointed that I don’t live here so I can’t visit more often. This is a perfect spot for everything from a casual lunch, to drinks, or even a date.

WHAT A VIEW. This is one of my favorite places to visit in Sausalito. I don't know, it is just a fantastic place to have a drink and a meal. Definitely recommend to eat outside overlooking the bay. I guess I am a water person. Love to see the bridge, sail boats, water and all that goes with it. Love the breeze and just the overall vibe of this place. And...the food, not one single complaint and the service is top notch. Visited both trips and will definitely be back again if the opportunity arises, or maybe just take a trip and stop by, who knows. I love everything about this place, as an out of

The Barrel House Tavern located in a beautiful shore in Sausalito. You can easily come and go through a ferry from the city with 13$ only each direction.
The view is amazing and the place looks good.
The food was delicious. We had fried calamari, ceviche, steak sandwich, mushrooms ravioli and salmon with risotto.
All the ingredients were super fresh and the flavors were good.
The cocktails were perfectly made.
Service was good and kind, our waitress was so cool.
The price are a bit high - but fair.
