Located in the heart of downtown Sausalito, Copita is a vibrant neighborhood restaurant serving seasonal and modern Mexican fare with a twist. Copita offers lunch and dinner daily plus weekend brunch with seating in our dining room, full bar and heated patio. Executive Chef Aaron Sabido leads the kitchen in collaboration with Chef/Co-Owner Joanne Weir.
Copita menus are 100% gluten-free and feature local California produce, including organic handmade tortillas for our extensive taco list. With over 100 tequilas, mezcals, an award-winning margarita and unique cocktail lineup, Copita also has put in place extra sanitary protocols for the safety of our guests, staff and community.

We first found Copita a number of years ago when we stopped in Sausalito on a Cruise Ship tour to Muir Woods. We loved it and have now made it a traditional to stop there for a meal whenever we fly into San Francisco and drive up to Napa. Delicious food, super friendly staff and amazing margaritas. Won't be our last visit- I promise you that.

Overall Great! Good modern Mexican dining. Good location and very nice ambiance to begin and staff are welcoming and greeted well to make it comfortable experience. Starters were made to perfection. The main course came in just as we finished starters, like perfectly choreographed. Food presentation is well done, thumbs up. Tasted like a good Mexican restaurant. Nothing different than any good Mexican else where. Can they improve on the taste a tad bit and make it the best? Sure they can try.

Stopped in here as I was craving tacos. Sat at the bar. The bartender was awesome and he made some really tasty margaritas. The wife ordered tortilla soup, which was awesome, and I had the quesabirria, which was really awesome. The sauce they serve it with is crazy good. I’d definitely go back if we’re in the north bay again.
