Room was ok but it’s to pricey for how old and small the rooms are. The room have lots of mold on the ceiling. Also they charge you extra 30 dollars to you with out you knowing and also there is no free breakfast. The ads they tell you is all lies. Only good thing about the hotel that’s it’s on Collins

I will try to keep this review simple and unbias. My honey and I arrived to the hotel, checked in with minimal issues and in awe of the beautiful lobby layout. We were given a room right near the front desk and proceeded to check out our room. Immediately went to the bathroom where there was STILL PEE RESIDUE on the toilet along with a filthy shower, I was ready to leave.
To avoid escalating, I left the problem to my honey and we were "upgraded" to a new room. Upgrade is was not. The room was bigger, but cleaner it was not. The bathroom walls and counter were filthy, tub more clean but notable

Stayed for a week for my birthday with friends. 5 stars to the staff! Very accommodating and helpful. Chris the night manager went ABOVE AND BEYOND and provided us with superb customer service. Day time staff were very friendly and always greeted us when we came and went.
The AC is great and very cooling. Beautiful pool area (great for pics) walks right onto the beach! 2 beach chairs per room provided and unlimited beach towels. Only downfall is pool closes at 8pm. Beds are VERY comfortable and duvets are cozy. Rooms were nice and clean.
CONS: Rooms are on the smaller end compared to pictures

Currently on our second day at the hotel. the staff is very personable, beautiful newly renovated rooms, the cleaning ladies are super sweet and accommodating. The beach is perfect and a nice and quiet pool… with views of the ocean. Lication is great with stores right on front of the hotel, and just one block away from publix, shopping boutiques and restaurants. Can't wait to be back.

This little boutique hotel really surprised us. We were down for a short visit and planned to be at the beach the majority of the time. Our room was a small King room with a tub and shower. Everything was clean and smelled fresh from the moment we walked in. The continental breakfast was great and the coffee was yummy. There's a path behind the hotel that leads to the beach. We didn't spend time at the pool but it was equally as cute. I would 100% stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel three times before. After my first stay, I called the hotel to speak directly with the manager of the hotel to make the second one and a third one. My goal was to get the travel agency out of the way and stay at a more affordable price, and prevent the hotel from paying commission to the agency. Even though I left a note to manager Erika 5-6 times, the manager did not respond to me. When I didn't get a response, I made my reservation through booking.com.
A few days before my departure day, I informed the long hair male receptionist that I wanted a late check-out

******DONT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL*******
Booked a reservation with this hotel over a month ago. They take a depot and send a confirmation email call a week before reservation to find out more about the room to… be told that my reservation was canceled and they can't do anything to help me with now that they have double the price for the same room. They didn't send any emails or call or did anything to let me know they were canceling my reservation. Definitely poor customer service can't even speak to a manager just having to relay messages back and forth with a receptionist. They are canceling

My gf and I stayed here for a little get away and we loved it! The location is great and you can’t beat the price. We were a little worried about some of the reviews but we’re so happy we decided to give it a chance! The beach is literally right off the back pool area and there’s free public transportation a block away that takes you straight to south beach. Shout out to Chris and Oscar for their recommendations and hospitality. We will definitely stay again 👌🏽

Valentines Day staycation. Had a nice stay. I was impressed on how new and clean the hotel was. Rate was competitive and it was the perfect location. No crowds around the pool. There is access to the beach and the boardwalk. There is a Publix a block away. The front desk person was very professional and polite. The room was recently renovated and had a very nice and up-to-date bathroom. Parking across the street was a big plus. There are some good restaurants nearby.

The hotel was very loud. Complained to the front desk but they were the ones being loud and not wearing a mask when talking. The room was not clean and it is nothing like the photos. We ended up leaving 2 days earlier because we couldn’t stay there anymore. 2 nights = 3 hrs of sleep total. Never stay there ever.

I can say i did have a pleasant time at the hotel. Usually I stay where its busy, people wise aka south beach, this time I stayed north beach. Now for the staff, I didn't get all their names, but One staff member stood out from the crowd. Chris did a fabulous job in making my stay at Mimosa pleasurable. Chris made me feel welcome and comfortable like I never left home. I definitely would stay here again and if not I would visit the hotel just to see and say to my new buddy.

Stayed here this past weekend with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and was treated very poorly. After booking a reservation at a neighboring hotel and having it be canceled on me, I was relocated to this hotel. My mom checked in for me earlier that night and left a key for me at the front desk with my name on it. When I arrived late at night, extremely tired and ready for bed, I was stopped at the front desk saying I did not have a reservation. I spent more than 30 minutes downstairs in the lobby waiting for the front desk to figure out the issue and was not allowed in my room, even though

So, I'll admit, this hotel is not extremely glamorous, but it is extremely chill. A group of my friends stayed here last year during Art Basel and we had a blast here. It is also right on the beach, so you can walk out of the pool area and right onto North Beach and go for a walk. I really liked this place.

I'll admit that I was the most apprehensive about this hotel! I looked at several websites, reviews, and pictures after I booked this hotel and wanted to change hotels. I unfortunately did not. As we were pulling up to the hotel even our cab driver told us this was not a good hotel to stay at.
Check in time is at 3pm. We arrived a little after 1pm and met Carlos at the front desk. Luckily our room was ready and we checked in. Upon checking in, the hotel places a $100 hold on your credit card in case of damages or charges to the room.
To check in we were able to take the elevator up to

I can't decide how I feel about this charming little boutique hotel that is trying so hard, or whether or not to recommend it. Tl;dr version: For those looking for a good deal, no-frills lodging on the beach, the Mimosa is a sufficient place to lay your head, but if you value top quality and quiet, you may want to reconsider.
To be fair, I'll start with the positives: The Mimosa is at a great location, dwarfed by larger and more expensive lodgings. It is beach side, and to be able to go downstairs, walk past the pool, and be on the beach, is awesome considering its price is very reasonable

Construction going on next door and around in the near by area really makes the place unpleasant. It's not the hotels fault but if you are looking for a relaxing spot this is not it . Couldn't enjoy the pool at all due to construction. Hotel is small but decent with great beach access. Good for families, walking distance to restaurants, walgreens etc. No beach chairs but they offer free towels.

What a great little place.
I booked the room last minute. No problem and $119/night. Crazy cheap for the quality of the place. This room in NYC would be $700.
It's a small place on the beach. 3 floors, pool, small lobby with a little coffee and sandwich bar. Oh and beers by the bottle.
Very well done, hip and very clean.
People were super friendly. The small but hip lobby is pretty intimate with people chatting over a coffee.
The room. Smaller but plenty of room. Well designed for it's size. Smaller tv, platform bed, cool little tables. Very NYC.
