Waterfront Restaurant

Waterfront is a sort of blink and you may miss it restaurant located a little north of Sister Bay. It's neatly tucked in between a condo and a Mexican restaurant, but the food and ambiance suggest anything but being a hide away. Their seafood and fish offerings are on par with some of the heavy hitters to the south in Milwaukee or even Chicago and I especially enjoyed the service and the pacing of the meal. Was here for New Years eve dinner. The 4 course menu was amazing. The ambiance was great. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our server was amazing. The food was wondrous. I cannot wait to go back again.

It was takeout for us, but most accommodating. The swordfish is moist, flavorful without the curry being overwhelming. We will most certainly return. Book at least 2 weeks ahead. The view of sunset across the lake is amazing and those tables go fast.

A open space overlooking Sister Bay. The staff is attentive. The cocktails are well crafted. The lobster bisque is the best I have had in some time.

A reservation is a must even on a weeknight in mid-October. We got seated promptly in their lovely dining room. Earlier in the summer I am guessing the outside deck and the view would be an added attraction.

I had seen on their website that they had a Mai Tai so I ordered that but they did not have it since it was a "summer drink". Very disappointing and a bit strange.

My new go to favorite fine dining restaurant in Door County. Definitely worth your time and money. Great service.
But.......they need to teach "Hospitality" to the hostess. No warm friendly greeting, high level of arrogance, and simply a bad first impression. Otherwise a 5 star review.

Had an incredible meal here last week while my wife and I were on our honeymoon.
First, the service here is excellent. No question, some of the best I've experienced.
The food, on another level. You can tell a great restaurant when they don't have salt & pepper on the table, because the food is perfectly seasoned and executed when it comes out.
We had some delicious food that I will never forget, from the roasted tomato bisque and truffle pasta we had for apps, to the lamb and salmon for the entrée, it was one of the best complete meals I've ever had.

The menu is interesting. The wait staff was amazing. The presentation of the food was exceptional. Had the halibut. It was excellent. My wife had the small plate scallops and a caprese salad which was a special. All excellent!

Beautiful upscale dining in Sister Bay with an amazing view of the water and wonderful service! Highly recommend for a date night or anniversary dinner and come early to enjoy drinks on the patio or a walk in the marina! Absolutely a five-star restaurant. This is the finest restaurant in door County with tremendous service, an outstanding menu, and a wonderful location. This will be a stopping point each year when we come to door County.

Went for our anniversary and it was wonderful. The food was good, the view was beautiful (despite going at a time when the sun was bouncing off the water and blinding us!) and the service was terrific. We would for sure come back again.

Our server, Terry, was great and helpful in navigating the menu. The ambience is a little nicer than the casual Wisconsin vibe, which made for a great more formal dining experience.

We had the lobster bisque and while it is probably 25% butter, it is the most phenomenal soup I've ever consumed. It is worth the hype on Yelp, order it. We also had the Thai Crab Salad, the Shrimp & Grits and split the Halibut dish, which was incredible -- best

WONDERFUL dinner during my first visit to Door County! Waited for our table at the bar and enjoyed a couple of the signature cocktails. The Elderflower Lavender Gimlet was as good as it looks. The Wisconsin Old Fashioned was perfect. Bartender (female) was super friendly and offered to customize anything we'd like. We reserved a table near the windows, to watch the sunset. Our table was facing each other, and away from the window. However, we were still able to watch the sunset. Plus, there is a patio door to go outside and take photos, which we did. Our server was knowledgeable with suggestions

Fantastic food. Peel and eat shrimp and salmon were phenomenal. Caught a gorgeous sunset and some incredible live reggae. Life is good.

Been there twice. First time for dinner was excellent. Wait staff was awesome, food was great. Went back a couple of weeks later just to sit at the bar and have a couple of manhattans. Bartender got our drinks fairly quickly but after that it was as if we didn't exist or were invisible. Guess we didn't look "rich" enough for them. Both bartenders never asked how we were doing nor did they ask if they can get us another drink! They were impersonal and aloof with us, but were the exact opposite with the other patrons. Will not go back because of this experience and will pass this

The views, food and service were excellent! The scallops, crab salad and shrimp and grits were delicious. We had the duck, bolognese and steak for our mains and each were seasoned and cooked with perfection. Go...you will enjoy!

Excellent dinner and view! A great place to celebrate a special occasion. Wine selection was very good and the menu was just right with the number of selections.

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary dinner while visiting Door County. We were a bit hesitant to eat inside (we waited too long to make a res- so call early to ensure you eat outside!), but were impressed with all the protocols of masks, sanitizing, etc to keep us safe and comfortable.

Cocktails and wine were excellent, lobster bisque is to die for (I could order it by the gallon!) and our halibut and scallops were perfectly executed. A bit on the pricey, side, but worth it for high quality food with a view! I even bought the Door Creamery handmade goat milk soap on the way

The food here is outstanding! The fish is fresh, meals are thoughtful and inspiring; lobster bisque is a must try. Lovely views of the harbor and if possible go during the evening to see a spectacular sunset! Also enjoy the crafted drinks and desserts!

Waterfront Restaurant was one of my favorite restaurants during the time we visited in Door County.

The staff were great, everyone was wearing masks, and our waitress had some great recommendations for what to choose on the menu.

We started with the Salmon Dip and it was wonderfully smoky and served with veggies and crispy bread. For the main course I had the halibut and my husband had the lamb.
