Went on a Sunday night. Wasn't hardly anyone there, which was fine with us. They serve food from 3 of their restaurants. I had fried chicken, was very good and the coleslaw was some of the best I've had anywhere. Wife had Pad Thai and said it was excellent. Great food and service for the off season especially considering many restaurants are closed and workers are hard to find. We were happy to support this establishment and will definitely come back next time we are in the area. Liked the bathroom wall painting as well, although I didn't take any practice shots. 😀

We saw the google rating of 3.7 and were nervous to stop here. We were very pleasantly surprised. The fish tacos came with an entire whitefish filet to make your own tacos with and the taco salad came in a giant crunch bowl. The margs were strong and the wine was decent. My dog liked the water and I can’t wait to come back to try the queso.

Cute expanded outdoor patio seating. Food definitely fits under Mexican…inspired. The server was very nice. We had to move tables as my 81 year old Grandpa has had a recent knee replacement and couldn’t sit in the high chairs on the attached patio. They are short staffed but a little patience and everything was good. They have a dog menu and are pet friendly. Met two beautiful babies while we were there.

So I am sure that everyone knows about the labor shortage that's an issue for most businesses. Having said that if you do hire someone you need to make sure they are capable of doing the job correctly.
The food at Mojo Rosa's was good took a little longer than it should but overall was good. The problem was with the server who I guess was the bartender also. I don't want to include her name, but overall was disappointed. We had a beer while we waited for food and the keg popped (no big deal) so instead of changing it and pouring full beer we got a 1/2 beer full price and then she disappeared for

When I consider a restaurant rating, I usually focus on 5 factors, and average these out. The factors are food quality, drink quality, atmosphere, service, and value. Mojo Rosas ended up with a 3.9, which I rounded to a 4.
In terms of food, we really appreciated unique dishes like the Tostados Pescardos, which were delicious and exceptionally memorable. We also ordered the rather pricey salsa trio and thought the chips, which appear to be homemade, were a mixed bag: some crunchy, some oddly chewy. The tacos were good but a bit bland, which I've found true of authentic Mexican cuisine elsewhere

1st Time here after many years of coming to Door Cty !! Too bad we waited so long !! Love this place . Restaurant is very nicely decorated and mural painting with Italian decor. Food is delicious from garlic bread to Spaghetti and meatballs. We also hade the wonderful spinach salad and the fantastic spumoni dessert - so good one of our new favorite restaurants up here

We really liked this place. We have been going up to DC for years and finally tried this place for the first time last November. Food was good and our waitess was also incredibly calm and collected while waiting for the other server to show up (she had not shown up or was either very, very late.) Service was quite slow but she was doing all she could. I wish I caught her name...she was great! When we left we both agreed we will be back!

We have lived in Door County for 2 years, but this is out first time to Villagios. It will not be our last!
My wife and I both started with a glass of wine. The cabernet sauvignon was wonderful; full bodied without a hint of bitterness. My wife had the moscato, and said it was perfect. Next, we each had the spinach salad. Very unusual, but delicious! Bread was served with it; a giant bread stick. As some other reviews have noted, it is biscuit dough, not bread dough, but light and flavorful. Definitely not a package mix.
For entrees, I had the gnocchi. Wonderful! My wife got the fettuccine

I liked the atmosphere... nicely done murals on the walls gave it a cozy feel. The lighting was dimmer than I like. A single candle on our table didn't permit me too see what I was eating. While I like ambient lighting I don't want to eat in near darkness.
My husband and I decided to try the Date Night "4 for $40" menu offering... pick one appetizer, salad, entree, dessert. Never mind the portion sizes which were ample, but I fully expected that we would each receive a plated salad, a plated entree. Nope... we were brought a single portion of each and handed a second plate.

This food was horribly disappointing. We ordered the house made breadstick and it was dry and over cooked, inedible and the pasta prosciutto which was watery with no flavor and the noodles in both of our dishes tasted like they had been sitting for days. The noodles were soft and mushy. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!

Food is good. I like the butternut squash ravioli a lot. Food is served in a large portion so it's suitable for you if you have a good appetite today. But the service... We waited for nearly 40min for simply two entree and a salad. And the customer came after get their food before us. I probably won't come here again.

Worst. Restaurant. Experience. Ever.
Our first choice of restaurant was closed, and our second choice was packed. Since it was nearing the quiet season, this was not entirely surprising. So, off we went in search of a good dinner. We had driven past Villaggios many times, but never felt compelled to stop. Since we were running low on options, we decided to give them a try. It's Italian. How can anybody screw up Italian? Well, that rhetorical question was answered, much to our dismay.
Our server, who is also the owner, seemed quirky at first. That quickly changed to intrusive,

The ambiance is absolutely adorable and really fun. It's unlike any restaurant. The manager is so AMAZING. Super king and hard working. The service besides the manager is a little slow and when they did come around they made you feel very rushed. The food is good--not something I'd die for but definitely worthy enough to warm 4 stars

This restaurant is most definitely a diamond in the rough. Set back from the road you may miss this place, but It's worth the search. From the decor to the atmosphere to the delicious choices of Italian fare this place has it all! Would highly recommend having dinner at the Villagio if you are in Door County...it will definitely be added to our list of must visits while vacationing in Door County!!! The lasagna was to DIE FOR!

Made a last minute reservation for porch seating on a busy holiday weekend. It was a beautiful night on the screened in porch. Our appetizer was Stromboli which was delicious. Now on to the main course, and both husband and I agreed this was THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD WE EVER HAD. I had the special of the day ravioli and he had rigatoni. And our 3 adult children raved about their dishes also. The service had a couple blips, such as a very slow start(but improved as meal went on), also a lack of water refills and the glass coffee cup was delivered barely half full.
All in all, a very enjoyable evening

The person who stated to ignore the low reviews may need to calibrate their taste buds with good Italian cuisine, which this restaurant does not serve.
The two stars? We loved the building and the bread. However, less than mediocre food and erratic service did not compensate for ambiance and bread sticks. Friendly staff but our waitress did not know the menu and ignored the details: bring a beer glass with the type of beer we bought (and not be asked 2-3 times to bring one), bring the coffee on a tray with spoons (so we don't stir cream with a butter knife) rather than hand delivering

Have been to Villaggio's a couple times on our trips to Door County. Decided to go back recently after a couple year break.
There were a total of 6 of us...made a reservation day of without any problem. Got to the restaurant and there was plenty of seating. I will say this - the pasta sauce there is amazing. I always buy a jar of it when were there to take home. I had the chicken parm and I have to say I enjoyed it. The meat lasagana was really good as well.
However, for the prices they charge, I do expect a little more from this place. My wife ordered a pasta dish and when she was
