Lure was absolutely on point for a nice outdoor dining experience. We were there in August of 2020 and despite the Plandemic we enjoyed ourselves. The food was fantastic overall but I'd like to highlight their cherry pie which I had for dessert. My wife had a liquid dessert and chose a Brandy Alexander. I would highly recommend Lure for a date night out place. We'll definitely be back.

What a fantastic spot for dinner! My husband and I were able to book last minute reservations on Saturday night. The ambiance was classy but casual, and very inviting. It wasn't too busy when we got there, but it was definitely filling up by the time we left. Despite being busy, service was on the ball! We were very intrigued by the 3 course early dinner menu. For around $30, you can choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert from the special menu, which is a great deal considering the quality of the food. This menu is available until 5:30.
We did decide against the early menu, because I wanted

Lure has a very innovative kitchen and front-of-house staff. Its menus are uniquely presented with its disciplined cooks taking care to painstakingly prepare each specially plated meals.
Regardless of the rush, each food plated by any chef on the line is done with a huge sense of consideration to the fact that each plate represents a customer that deserves to be treated with utmost regard and attention.
If you visit Sister Bay, and fail to avail yourself an opportunity to dine at Lure, you may have very well passed on much of what the Peninsula has to offer you.
So #EatAtLure.

We dined for the first time at Lure and overall had a good experience but I have some feedback. We enjoyed the early dining menu but felt very rushed in our experience; second course delivered while we were still eating the first which was off putting. Despite being one of the first reservations of the evening, we were sat in the back of the restaurant instead of on the deck/patio to enjoy the sunset (or even close to it). The Caesar salad was very overdressed however the calamari was excellent. I enjoyed the Asian ribs but my husband's beef tips were very salty. Desserts were cherry pie (very

The food was good and pricey. We had calamari as a appetizer and it was great. The jalapeños and mustard sauce were delicious. For main courses, we had the seafood pan roast and walleye pecandine. Discribed as spicy, the pan roast was not. The walleye was ok but soft. It was described as having toasted pecans but was not toasty. The house special drinks were good. The old fashioned was ok, but the mule was really good. The highlight was the local beer from Peach Barn Farmhouse & Brewery. The Jersey Chaser IPA was really delicious. We split a piece of average cherry pie because they ran out of

We really enjoyed this place. The service was all top notch. The food was good but could use an upgrade to the crusty bread.
First off the parking lot could use a some good lighting for safety reasons. We ordered a California Roll as an appetizer and is was terrific.
I ordered soup but it arrived the same time as our dinners so I sent it back not wanting it to get cold. I had the Seafood Pan Roast which was cooked great but as mentioned before, needed real crusty bread and not store bought French bread.
My wife had the Whitefish Almondine which was also cooked perfectly and very tasty. She

The early dining menu was a great value. Went to book a reservation for Saturday and 5:15 was all they had.
Our server told us about the early dining menu and we choose two options. The clam chowder was great and the Caesar salad was also.
Service was great and food was very good.
The outdoor seating area liked very nice and we will try that next time in Sister Bay.
Worth returning to.

Amazing restaurant experience, somewhat due to the food but mostly because of our waiter, Marko S. He was the definition of hospitality!! Our crew enjoyed a slew of tasty hand crafted cocktails-per our waiters recommendation went out on a limb and tried the spicy cucumber gimlet (caution, spicy means spicy)...yum!!! Split some spicy tuna rolls and corn bread for appetizers, weird combination but we had to try them both. Finally, our party of six enjoyed the walleye and NY strip and salmon. Everyone loved their meals as evidenced by 6 clean plates.
The waiter was so accommodating and patient with

Somewhat disappointing from what I expected and hoped for. One diner: had exceptional Seafood Pasta, prepared perfectly al dente, nicely flavored with a great sauce. Two diners agreed the Seafood Pan Roast was 1) not what we expected, given the server said it was spicy ... it wasn't ... I asked about the similarity to paella or jambalaya, with the response of "very similar" . . . which it wasn't ... had a much stronger tomato base than ever expected and strangely, what seemed to be more of a beef bouillon flavor which again, didn't seem to jive; lastly the scallops

My friends and I stopped by Lure for dinner during a weekend trip to Door County. It is located in Sister Bay down the street from the marina. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant seems to have a focus on seafood and have an Asian fusion influence.
The only reservation my friends and I could get was early, so we were able to take part in their early bird dinner special. The special was great - it was a small appetizer, entree, and dessert for a reduced price (~$25). It was a good deal so we all opted for that. I had the spring roll appetizer, the teriyaki chicken entree, and

Delicious. Best restaurant on the peninsula. Make reservations. Parking during peak times can be rough and it's on a hill so if you're handicapped and you don't have motorized assistance, it can be tough. Great bar, wonderful patio and the workers they hire from overseas come back year after year and are
Experienced. Always clean, great menu. Love the place.

Service is great , accommodations outside are very nice. We had dinner and tried some dishes.
Sushi, shrimp tempura, mussels were very good. Main dishes like fish pasta and crab cakes ( 26$ and change each) very bland.
Pasta was a soupy plate of noodles with way to much cream and crab cakes had not texture/ flavor: both not worthy.
Overall a good dinner but need some improvement

An elegant spot in sister bay featuring seafood and steaks. We were visiting in early fall and ate here our first night.
COVID RESPONSE: staff and customers all wore masks and tables were spread out.
As it was a Thursday night, it didn't seem too busy when we arrived for our 7:00 reservation and lots of tables were just finishing up. The menu features lots of fish from walleye to halibut and you can get the Wisconsin fish fry daily as well.
To start we opted for the really fresh and tasty Summer salad with cherries, pecans and goat cheese-delicious and easily enough to share. We also

Little over a week since dining here and we're still craving the seafood pasta and salad. Obtained said meals after a long hike and couldn't have been more pleased. Honestly we couldn't believe it took us until the last night to try this restaurant, otherwise we would have been here every night. The seafood pasta had a beautifully light sauce with scallops and large shrimp. Salad was incredibly refreshing, light, and dressed very well.
