Services
Our story begins with the Grasse family planting their Door County roots over one hundred years ago. Chef/Owner Jimmy Grasse began his culinary adventure growing up on the dairy farm his grandparents settled in Ellison Bay. There he learned to appreciate fresh, locally grown, scratch made food.
As a teen, he washed dishes at Hotel du Nord, and when someone didn't show up to cook one night, he was pulled onto the line and has enjoyed the fast pace of the kitchen ever since. He went on to earn a degree in Culinary Arts in Madison, and over the years has worked at some of the finest Door County and Madison restaurants.

Phenomenal loaded Mac n cheese. Ooey and gooey, not too salty and the pasta was perfect al dente! We also drank the Pineapple Florida seltzer which tasted like pineapple, not like some of those other seltzer's out there! Great customer service... we chose to go here instead of some of the options in the area. We appreciate the to-go option! We will be back again!!!

RATING: 7.8/10
The Whitefish Reuben blew my mind!!! The fish was flaky and the coleslaw, sauce, cheese combo was mouthwateringly hearty! We also got the loaded mac which honestly was pretty disappointing. I could barely taste the cheese and it became dried out pretty quickly. It wasn't the worst thing, but nothing to write home about.
Overall, I'd say it's worth coming here for the Whitefish Reuben alone!! Skip the mac and cheese though.

Great food and friendly staff. They were very quick to transition to takeout only when COVID hit last spring and have an easy/efficient online ordering/pickup (along with a parking lot). Another HUGE plus is that their to-go containers and 'plastic' bags are biodegradable. Seeing that they care to spend a little more money to reduce the impact on the environment says a lot about them as a business (and people).

Came to Grasse's on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Busy, as you would expect. Dine in wasn't open so it felt more like a cute little shop. Decent whitefish Reuben & southwest salad. Fries weren't anything crazy, average. The people who tended to us were very friendly. Seems like a well-run business. We'll be back!

This place was SO good - the group favorite if you're looking for healthy, fresh ingredients. Right now, they only have their food 'to go,' but offer several large tables for outside dining (or take it to the nearby park/beach for a picnic). I had the veggie burrito/wrap and we shared some cheese curds. Others had wraps and burgers and all said it was their favorite place.
Service was super friendly as well.

So many great menu items but my favorite is the Hippie Burrito. Great flavor and the portion is just the right amount to have for a meal. I recommend the sweet potato fries with their southwest sauce. Great food and friendly and quick service.
Their take out options are *perfect* for a picnic at the nearby beach or various picnic tables in Sister Bay.

Really great options for lunch options. American food elevated to tastier versions like the death's door burger: take a good regular burger then jack it up with jalapenos and sriracha, pepperjack and chipotle ranch. Lots of good alternative and vegetarian options too like the hippie burrito with guacamole and sweet potato hash, black beans and corn. Truly delicious and above the basic lunch fair.

Great spot to grab lunch on the go (with COVID)! The cherry chicken salad wrap was a bit underwhelming, but the salad with cherries and the cherry vinaigrette was amazing! Renards cheese curds were to die for a great portion. They even wrote on our bag to make it a bit more enjoyable to just "pick up food". Yum!

This summer they are only doing curbside pickup. However, Our experience was great. While other restaurants had Long waits and overcrowding, here our food was ready 15 minutes after calling and ordering. There are lots of picnic tables with a view steps away from grasse's. The deaths door burger was delicious! Had a good kick but not too spicy. Delicious fries.

This is my absolute new favorite restaurant. We came for breakfast & were pleasantly surprised! Freshest ingredients are tasted in my “Hippie” breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs anyway you want them on top of sweet potato, corn, black bean & cauliflower hash topped with cheddar jack & served with pica de Gallo, guacamole, south west crema, tortilla chips & salsa. Husband had the Brisket hash with hash browns, green peppers, onions & cheddar jack served with 2 eggs & toast. Of course they serve homemade cherry preserves. OMG GOOD FOOD!! Super cute decor, great staff & service we are returning

I’ve been only once but I will go again. There are so many tasty options. I loved the lunch. We were 7 people, they were very accommodating. The service and the friendly staff were great. One of the best lunch spots on our road trip so far. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. I can't wait to go back!

The service is spectacular. A young man whose name started with a J gave us literally the best service ever. So attentive. Love that they have vegetarian options. We stopped in around 215 after we got into town. This would be a 5 but we both found our food to be a little bland and determined that we would probably venture elsewhere before coming back. Hippie tacos for me and the club wrap for my friend. I cant emphasize how awesome everyone working was. Even overhearing the lady behind the bars interaction with two ladies who came in 15 min before close for a flight.

My wife and I enjoyed a Monday fall breakfast. Not your typical Grill as they cater towards breakfast and lunch but have a limited number of beers on tap as well. While a Monday, a steady flow of customers came through the door while we were there.
Wonderful ambience. Nearly all repurposed furnishings and decorations with a farm-house atmosphere. Genuine articles that are unique to the restaurant. Water served in mason jars to add to the character. I almost felt like I was in my grandmother's kitchen on the farm.
Friendly service; welcoming and attentive. Food delivery was very quick even

Don't make the mistake I made and NEED this place on a Tuesday. Darn. They are closed. But go early in your trip because you'll probably want to come back.
Best food we have had in Door County yet. Appetizers of Renard's fried cheese curds were great...yes there is an "s" on appetizers because we had to order more curds. Seated fast for a late lunch. Our waitress was friendly, personable and could not have taken better care of our table of five.
Chambers Island Honey Chicken, Fish Tacos x2, Hippie Tacos (try the cauliflower which is surprisingly good and flavorful) and
