We tried this place today for the first time and I thought it was pretty good. We went at the beginning of happy hour so it was not too crowded. We sat inside as it was quite cold outside and the waitress let us choose our table. I ordered a cup of clam chowder and a GH burger with bacon and fries, my cousin had a burger and a salad. The chowder was delicious, my burger was very tasty and I really loved their seasoned fries. The total came to $50. I eat out alot and have eaten some really good burgers, only one or two costs more than $18.95 but they were absolutely delicious...this one was just

First, service was great. Our server was quick and attentive, very friendly, as was the host.
So... Why three stars? The food and atmosphere. My wife ordered a special (they were out of a grilled salmon that she wanted) of Dover sole, and to say it was bland would be a bad description. Across the board, there was just no flavor on the plate - potatoes were bland, veggies were bland, sole was bland, sauce was just like warmed thickened cream almost.
My daughter ordered a steak, which while decently flavored was pretty tough. My son's and I had burgers which weren't bad, but they were just burgers

The happiest place on earth! Well, definitely the happiest place in Redwood Shores. An amazing staff who really care about their customers and their food. Fabulous, constantly rotating selection of craft beers, both on tap and in the can. They'll do half-pours if you want to try a few different things and are always happy to let you taste. Hands-down the BEST french fries anywhere on the Peninsula, if not the entire Bay Area, with an amazing seasoning. Ask for a side of chipotle aioli for dipping!

My husband visited Grill House with his sister yesterday afternoon. He ordered the salmon entree and his sister ordered a chicken caesar salad. Both of them absolutely loved the food and had a wonderful experience. They also noted that the parking situation was very convenient, the local beer selection was outstanding, and the restaurant is in a beautiful location. They highly recommend dining at Grill House!

Had a great Saturday lunch with my family. Mimosa was tasty, lots of champs, sangria is lovely (crisp, clean, plenty of peach, and housemade). Kids loved the mac-n-cheese (asked for another helping) and I loved my juicy black peppercorn burger! My husband loved his grilled chicken wings. Great sit and doing a great job during Covid! Thanks!

The Grill House offers casual American fare in Redwood Shores. This is a great place that offers many locally sourced foods and beers. Seating options include a bar, indoor seating, and outdoor seating. They have superb food with some of my favorites being the cheesesteaks, French dips, and their grilled Caesar being a favorite of staff and customers alike. They have a large selection of beers on tap and canned. I have eaten here over 20 times I have never gotten to desert due to the fact I usually eat all of my food and been full before desert. The portion sizes are generous however the food is

I had the "grill house burger". What a fantastic burger, you will not be disappointed. Great flavor, seasoned pattie made from scratch which is always a major plus. The garlic fries were out of this world, highly suggest it! Get'em...
My dad had the "ribeye steak tacos". They aren't your traditional street tacos. Now these tacos are delicious!!! The avocado brings it all together. The meat was thinly sliced and full of flavor. Expected from ribeye steak... always delicious.
My mom ordered the "grilled shrimp with quinoa plate". the shrimp was perfectly

Brunch is BACK at the GH!!!! Bomb AF breakfast burrito added the Huevos Rancheros (not pictured but those are amazing, too) sauce. Such a tasty Sunday treat to enjoy.
If you haven't been by for a weekend brunch (Saturday/Sunday until 2p) - highly recommend!
Did I mention Bacon Bloody Mary and Mimosa specials as well? They make a darn fine Bloody Mary here, one of the better we have had on the peninsula.
We have lived here now 6 years and so thankful this is a part of the Redwood Shores community and we have been able to enjoy on a regular basis.

4-4.5 stars for this visit, but rounding up for one of the best grilled Caesar salads that I've had in a while, and perfectly cooked salmon. They weren't busy around 1pm on a Monday, and no reservations were needed. After all the mashed potatoes consumption for Thanksgiving, I decided to order their Grilled Caesar Salad ($7.50 + ?? Grilled Salmon, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Wmk6dbE8SEhxrIN_r9oZiA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg), which was surprisingly really good! The grilled salmon had to be upwards of $6.95, since that's the price to add grilled shrimp. The

This place is open to take-out, curbside, outdoor dining, and dine in with social distancing and mask. They have TVs for your sport-watching. They have several tables for outdoor dining out on the patio. I enjoyed dining outside since the air quality improved on a cooler day in Redwood shores. I craved a burger and enjoyed the turkey burger with provolone plus avocado and side of garlic fries. The patty was a really good size. The fixings were great. The bread ins were just the right size in ratio to patty and fixings. The GH mustard relish... i cared less for and preferred just the ketchup

Yay: Friendly service
Yay: Dog friendly patio
Yay: American comfort food and large portions
Yay: lots of tasty beer
Overall it's not fancy food, but was craving American comfort food after a long 2 weeks of eating super healthy.
- shrimp Caesar $15: YUM: really enjoyed the grilled romaine AND well seasoned shrimp
- ahi tuna $14: ok; overly doused in sauce IMO but tuna was tender
-sampler platter S.O. Enjoyed very much the ribs and pulled pork. Fries were crispy and tasty too
TLDR; Like the menu variety here, so it's not bbq only. Service was fast, friendly, dog friendly patio

Yes, as good as it gets!
FOOD 4.5 stars
- Grilled Chicken Wings for $11.95 with house-made buffalo sauce, bleu cheese, coleslaw , so good! just a perfect balance between sweetness, saltiness, smocked after taste and sticky texture!
- BBQ Chicken Quesadilla, Jack and cheddar cheese, GH Stout BBQ sauce, grilled onions for $9.95. It was just ok, the chicken was a bit dry, but the taste overall, was there.
- GH Ribs Stout BBQ Sauce, macaroni salad, GH smokehouse beans for
$23.95, absolutely delicious! my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it. The meat is so juicy and tender that I couldn

Really nice place, friendly staff and great beer selection. The waiter brought out some different beers to try when I was unsure which beer to go with. It was happy hour, so $2 off the beers.
I had the half rack of ribs which was really tasty and came with beans and Mac & Cheese salad.
A good experience and I would definitely come back!

This is a great place to go for a meal with the family or of you just want to hang out and watch sports--plenty of big screens all around.
This is a great place for casual dinner...great sandwich and burger selection. The burgers were great, the tri-salad was really good and good sized for a meal itself. The kung pao chicken wings were amazing--I could have eaten the whole plate myself, but I had to share wth the family. My only complaint is that I thought my philly cheesesteak could have used some grilled bell peppers & onions and maybe a little more cheese. Nonetheless, it was still a
