This is my favorite place to eat in Redwood City. They serve authentic homemade Caribbean food cooked to perfection and drowned in flavorful sauces. The sides of sweet plantains and coconut rice and beans are as good as the main courses, all for reasonable prices and served with a smile and a nice chat. I eat here every time I travel to the area and I hope they keep serving these delicacies for years to come.

This is the best best best restaurant in Redwood City. I can't express enough how much my partner and I love eating here. The food is delicious, such a unique flavor. Unlike many places, the customer service here is 11/10!! The chef Abel is such a kind, attentive person. He always makes sure you're satisfied with the food and his cooking skills are on point.

Wonderful restaurant run by the kindest gentleman, Abel! I’ve been enjoying trying different types of cuisine lately, especially local and smaller businesses. I called the restaurant and placed a take out order which was an easy process. Enjoyed a one on one conversation with the owner who actually stepped in to help me when my bike was being taken from outside the store right in front of our eyes. Talk about putting the customer first! When I finally got to sit down to eat the food, everything was just phenomenal! The sauces were rich yet balanced and incredibly flavorful! Abel is the owner and chef! Talk about supporting a local business. This one packs the flavor every time. None of us can truly travel right now so why not bring a taste of the warm Caribbean to yourself or your colleagues at work?!
Abel is great at putting together individual plates as requested so doing his part to help keep everyone as safe as possible during this pandemic time.
