Valet Parking - We work with 3rd party company and you will have limitless in and out privileges until 12 p.m. in the following day. The daily fees are $37.45 for regular cars and $48.15 for SUVs.

Oceanfront rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor branding considerable amount of extra space that is needed for your perfect getaway. Penguin Hotel has stolen over a grand from me (I had to cancel my reservation because of COVID) and they refuse to speak to me about it. I was told that I needed to speak to a manager in order to get a refund, but management refuses to call me back. Even worse, I was told by an employee that they are purposely avoiding my calls. They've hung up on me multiple times and do not respond to my emails. Not only has this hotel violated COVID protocol, but they will steal money from you as well. I am absolutely disgusted by this establishment.

I booked one night for my anniversary. I walked there and found the book day is different. They said we are booked for that night and call for cancellation. I keep calling and just get answer machine. My agent call them and the refused the cancellation as well refund my money response to my phone call. I never had super bad customer experience with a hotel like

My stay here was awesome, I will definitely stay at the penguin hotel again whenever I come back to Miami. The location was also amazing, everything was walking distance. We loved David in reception, he helped us out and would answer all of our questions. We hope we get to see him again whenever we go back to penguin ! Anyways thank you for the amazing service!!

I highly recommend staying at the Penguin Hotel! It’s very affordable and the location is as good as it gets (right in the middle of Ocean Drive)! From when we got here until we left, David, an employee at the front office, took amazing care of us. He was very friendly and helpful when it came to any requests we had and recommendations on what to do/where to eat! We’ll definitely be coming back to the Penguin Hotel going forward!

A wonderful spot, literally a minute walk to South Beach. A small boutique hotel with a cozy ambience. David, who checked me in was both hospitable and informative. I also watched him go out of his way to be helpful to a couple who needed a room desperately. Everyone was kind and helpful. Location cannot be beat if you want to go to beach. Everything was clean and everyone was hospitable. Some good extras also linked with the stay such as towels, complimentary breakfasts and drinks at the Havana restaurant next door.

Bed Bugs/Low Quality/Terrible Customer Service
*UPDATE: Called, they hung up on me after saying “managers are in a meeting” and never replied to emails.
Woke up with bed bug bites all over my body. Asked to switch rooms. The Penguin, as well as partner hotels, were at 100% capacity… in mid November. Spoke to 3 different Front Desk attendants throughout the day/night who said managers were “in a meeting” (as you’ve seen on other reviews) and promised one would contact me… never did. They said they cleaned the room thoroughly, but we were in there all afternoon with no cleaning service

Loved my time in Miami , the hotel is in a great location, the restaurant next door had good food and more than I can say for any complimentary breakfast I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly, smooth and easy check in. Shout out to the gentleman that helped me with paper clips for my Halloween costume, the beautiful young lady that game me advice on moving to Miami and helping me while I locked my keys in my room, and Lisa for helping me breeze through check out so I can make my last day of breakfast with 2 minutes to spare. Just all around wonderful experience to match the lovely vacation

Our stay at the penguin hotel was great! Hotel is cute and clean. Location is perfect, just walking distance to the beach and near by restaurants. The complimentary breakfast and drink was a plus. Lisa at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Lisa has great customer service! Overall a great time and would return again.
