Blanc Kara Boutique Hotel
The exclusive number of rooms, the consciously designed studios and the thorough choice of every small detail are the essential assets of Blanc Kara. Our strength lies in the high quality of our personalized service, thus we will be more than happy to share with you all the best that Miami has to offer.

If you want to enjoy a little more space then the "Large Studio" is the one you need to relax after a lovely day at the beach, a long shopping or sightseeing. Have a nice coffee at sunrise on your private terrace, take a nap in your large outdoor bed or sip a cocktail in your lounge chair, the "Terrace Studio".
Services
Ideally located in the trendiest neigbourhood of South Beach, called South of Fifth, the Blanc Kara is a charming boutique hotel for adults only (as of 21 years old). A few minutes from the beach, close to luxury boutiques and to Miami's raved nightlife scene but also far enough from the agitation.
Much more than a hotel room, all our studios will impress you with their size, comfort and many benefits. We offer real studios with a fully equipped kitchen, all the dishes and utensils you will need to prepare and enjoy a good meal if you are in the mood for cooking or simply to get a snack ready for the beach.
Our charming Bistro 102 is a friendly place and its original decor is not a standard hotel breakfast room. The eclectic but harmonious style of furniture that has been meticulously chosen provides a warm atmosphere. You will find a bunch of items, Havanas, french espadrilles, jewelry, candles and home fragrance, baskets, books, mugs, etc.

Now I visit Miami ALOT!!! I like to stay different places based off reviews and to get a vibe of different places and areas. But this place wasn't it for me. A waste of my money to be honest. First, the ironing board was broke. I asked house keeping for a new one and she told me we don't have any more and just walked away. I was drinking my wine to relax and when it was time to go to sleep my "King" size bed kept separating so I lift the foam mattress up and it was two twin beds push together (Not touching) with blankets stuff in between because the mattresses couldn't touch! Ask to speak to management

I honestly have no clue how this hotel has any good reviews at all. I gave it two stars solely based on the outside appearance and the location. I'm not really sure where to begin. Check-in in was smooth but the cafe was closed due to "the pandemic" which is strange at this point. The room we were put in on the first floor was right next to the laundry room and was one step above a hostel style room if you ask me. It wasnt warm, updated, or even that clean to be honest. The "king" bed was two twins pushed together with a blanket shoved in between and it was hard as a rock

It would take a long time to describe the boutique experience you get here. King size bed check. Ample closet space check drawer space check in room safe check. Silverware and full kitchen appliances check. Dishwasher check stove check microwave oven check ready made ice cubes in the freezer when you check in check fully functional multi-channel TV in the room check latest design shower facilities check. I'm coming back here again. Now I know what to expect I might be a little better suited the next time I get here. They even serve you a little breakfast there in the morning between 8:00 and 10

I loved my balcony room, Raf and the young Lady from NJ were great. Just a word of advice Don't go there early thinking you will have a early checkin, because you won't and they will use the lame excuse that due to covid they have to take 2 hours to sanitize each room, yeah right!!! But overall a good stay!!!

The room was clean. Housekeeping kept us supplied with towels and the front desk was easy going, attentive and prompt l. Very quiet overall in the room. Valet parking was a little expensive at $30 a night but otherwise your trying to find parking by yourself on the busy Miami strip. It’s conveniently located three minutes from the beach. They offer drinks, snacks and alcoholic popsicles in your kitchenette. Wine is offered downstairs in the lobby. The only complaint is that the 3rd floor has a VERY fishy smell that did not go away our entire stay. And the roof is leaking in the hallway. Rooms

We stayed in a studio room. Great location if you want to be walking distance to Ocean Dr & the beach! Biggest qualm was the electrical situation - certain outlet usage caused total power outages (blackouts) in the room or lights in areas that didn't correspond to turn off/on. They are Covid safe, easy for Uber to find, & the staff is kind & will extend your checkout time if it's an absolute must!

Shower tip: If you want hot water in a studio, turn the nozzle to the very center as our room didn't have an "H" or a "C".
Towel tip: Beach towels require

Blanc Kara has a modern look. Very inviting the people are pleasant and aim to please.( Never met the owner but would love to show my appreciation).
I have a terrace room it’s wonderful. (203) This is a nice room the air conditioner was leaking when I got here and it was fixed when I went out to get some food. Thank you to the lady in the front. She’s very sweet. I’m sorry I’m bad with names. All the employees are super.
Valet parking is good wish they wouldn’t change my radio and I’m surprised they would charge you for parking the next day if you leave at 1am to go to work. And your

This place is in a good spot you can get to be beach quickly and next door is big pink a restaurant that is always crowded. The crowd sometimes crowd by the hotel preventing you from freely going on the front door. The place itself is a little out of date and the rooms/shower are not glamorous and one of the plugs in my room was broken. I hate the mini bar in my room why? I would opt not to have the mini bar and more table and fridge space. It is overpriced also downside of this place. If you staying here you give them you room key they give you fresh beach towels in return. They staff is mostly

So, it's only right to update my review. They changed our room and gave us an upgrade. Thankful because the first room real bummed us out. The remainder of our getaway was great. Would definitely come back but not to stay in the first room.

I'll begin by saying that we absolutely love staying at boutique hotels on Collins in Miami.
Unfortunately this time we had a very bad experience at this hotel. 1st of all the amenities are not up to par. The Wi-Fi never worked in the 3 nights that we stayed there and we went over to the front desk and asked every day if it was being worked on and they rudely responded yes we are handling it.
The staff at least at the front desk were very unfriendly. Also it was very difficult to get extra towels or extra soap. We ask for extra towels and got a very negative response. We were told to wait

I don't write reviews but I had to let everyone know this Hotel stay was nothing short of Amazing. The front desk was available 24hrs and made us feel like we were at home. The location was near all the best spots to visit. At the end of our trip they held our bags for us because our flight home was later in the evening. The customer service was outstanding. I would stay here everytime I visit South Beach. Thank you Blanc Kara! We will visit again!!

Loved the location! Short walk to everything. Starbucks is a half block away. The beach is one block. 5 Star restaurant around the corner. Unfortunately the beach was closed due to COVID. The room was great. The staff was also great. They did have a hard time controlling late night noise issues (yelling and slamming doors).

They are offering a "bagged" breakfast of yogurt, juice and a muffin. The restaurant across the street (The Big Pink) has AMAZING hot breakfast!

Huge bed... very comfortable!

The mini bar/snack prices were very fair!

I love the art deco look of the hotel. Very

First off, YAY to my 100th review :)

I wanted review 100 to be special and I spent a very special weekend at Blanc Kara 1/18/19-1/20/19... My elopement weekend.

The room we booked (1 bedroom with the private terrace) was a perfect room to host the few guests we had come down to Florida with us to witness our elopement. Honestly the terrace was huge, bigger than we expected, with two day beds. The room was also very affordable for the amount of space. There is a living space and kitchen as well. The room was very clean and there's a mini bar and snack bar for purchase provided. The beds

It look like Expedia didn't put my review on the site so I'm giving yelp a shot.

Stayed at Blanc Kara for two evenings in the Terrence Studio for my birthday weekend Nov 30- Dec 2. When my husband and I arrived Saturday afternoon we were greeted by a female front desk employee greeted us and she located our booking through Expedia. She continued to tell me that they tried to charge my card but it was different than the one I used through Expedia and that would be correct because our bank issued new cards due to a hacking situation. Which I explained and told her it's still the

Spectacularly located. A little gem that is to be enjoyed throughout the year, with the exception of certain government holidays where South Beach turns into a horrible zoo. You should avoid South Beach entirely. Meticulously managed and well appointed. This is a winner.

We stayed here in February and again in December 2018. Loved it. Great location a block from the beach. Lovely, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast with good service. Elegant, comfortable atmosphere. This visit we were upgraded to a room with a balcony which was lovely.
We love the South of Fifth atmosphere, quiet yet close to the action.
Our only (small) complaints: 1) pillows are a bit hard, and 2) 1 hour before checkout our room key was disabled and it took two tries to reprogram.
We would definitely stay here again.

Great little boutique hotel. Rooms were quite spacious and clean. We were on the first floor and the noise wasn't very bothersome. AC was pretty quiet. Walking distance to the beach and they provide towels. Also walking distance to anything you'd want to see along Collins Ave. Linens were soft & my husband loved the comfort of the mattress. NO bed bugs, always a plus.

Only drawbacks, it was kind of difficult to figure out how to work the showerhead. The shower is handicapped accessible, but I don't think it is designed very well...when I took a shower some water puddled

Loved our stay at the Blanc Kara. Clean, spacious, with little touches of luxury, including cozy robes. We stayed mid-week and the prices were reasonable. We stayed on the third (top) floor and it was quiet. I could see how if you were on the first floor it may get a little noise -- I could hear some music walking through the hallway.

This is next door to Story nightclub and the Big Pink, and a Starbucks 1 block down the road. There is also a liquor store close by, and walking distance to the beach/boardwalk, and Nikki Beach.

We will definitely stay again next time.

We ended up getting this hotel through hotwire. We went during early August so it was not super busy.

Room: (3/5 stars)
The only real problem was the room, it was on the first floor with very bad insulation, there was a party going on in the bar next to it, and I had trouble falling asleep till 3am.

The AC was also super loud.

Location: (4/5 stars)
The location is on the south end of South Beach, (2nd street, with not too much action around it). It is located 2 minutes from the beach. However it is located about 20 minutes walking from the main attractions: The main streets are 14-16th

An OK hotel, nothing fancy. The beds are awful as the mattress have deep indentations that make you feel like you are in a cave. The shower bathroom was dirty (mold) and ants crawling everywhere. No parking spaces so be ready to drive around until you can find a spot and pay some chunk of money to park, hey is South Miami :)

Stayed here during my recent visit to South Beach. Very chic hotel, nice front desk associates. The hotel room come quipped with a full kitchen w. fridge, nice looking bathroom, 40in Satellite ready TV and bed is comfortable. The huge drawback for me as far as this hotel though the wifi is very spotty and even with it off you do not get the best of cell phone reception here.

Other than that the hotel is very well kept. Nice art design in the hallways and lobby and located not far from many of the hot spots of South Beach and the beach itself. Affordable as well and adult only which makes if you

Cute boutique off Ocean on Collins. All good just dead plants and tree on balcony which is a shame since it would be very easy to correct. Our room was nice. Just upset about not cleaning behind toilet. Hair and dirt - ick Bed was comfortable. Off the beaten path so quiet when you want it to be. Peking was really only issue that you run into. Very limited street parking you have to pay for and can only park for 10 hrs at a time. Adults only - no Children

This hotel is for adults only. Very quiet, clean and modern. I booked one studio with terrace. Little kitchen fully equipped sofa TV. There is few room only.
This hotel is in a great location, quiet and relaxing part, but close to everything in South Beach (restaurants and little grocery store are on walking distance). The staff is extremely helpful. There is a valet parking (not free).
Rooms are spacious and good working wifi.
I stayed 3 nights and i would definitely stay here again.
