Absolutely wonderful! We stayed overnight and the room we reserved was the "kitchenette studio" and it
was immaculate and so very quaint and comfy. Chuck, the proprietor was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed regarding the building's history, our room, the surrounding area and the many restaurants we could choose from. Next time we'll stay longer and I must say, this is definitely one of our top 5 stays overall, and we've been to many places. Needless to say we were very pleased overall!!!!

Pleasantly surprised at how up to date the room and furnishings are. Often, with these older buildings, the cramped rooms and old plumbing is part of the "charm." Here, however, nothing felt old, but neither had things been modernized to late 20th century (other than the kitchen, of course). Off site secure parking is a bonus.
Chuck was a gracious host, and did his best to make us feel welcome.

Very disappointing. We stayed here the day after our wedding and thought we were booking a romantic, historic B&B. Instead we were actually given a small studio room in an apartment building nearby. It was advertised as “city views” when in fact the view was almost fully obscured by the building behind us (you can see the brick building if you look closely at the windows in the online pictures). The WiFi was so bad that we were unable to use it. The breakfast in the morning consisted DYI toast and bagels with peanut butter and a bowl of hard boiled eggs. I’m not sure what drove such high

Our company recently utilized this stunning property to home out-of-state team members. I clearly did not do my research efficiently because I was quite unprepared for the wonderment of the Morgan State House Inn, right from the moment I was welcomed into the front door to do a walk-thru before our guests arrived.
I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment for any guest, or even for the local community for a little 'staycation'. The Brownstone, as well as the room, was impeccable. The garden/courtyard was inviting and magical. The service that the staff offers is unparalleled. The location is
