Arturo was incredible with mounting our TV. The staff in general has been so accommodating and welcoming. Off to a great start!
Update after a year of living here: huge shoutout to Maggie (Margaret) in the leasing office who has aided in making my experience here 10/10. The entire staff deserves a shoutout! The great start to my time here has certainly not been disappointed.

I love living in this building. The staff is incredible, I put in a maintenance request yesterday and it was fixed within 10 minutes. The amenities are wonderful and the pool only gets a little crowded on summer weekends, otherwise, everything feels almost private. The only reason I would leave this building would be to buy a home, it's truly a renter's paradise.

Mr GEORGE KELVIN HAS REALLY HELPED ME IN TRADING AND MAKING A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE SUPPORT OF MY BUSINESS, From my personal experience I can tell you that Mr GEORGE KELVIN is one of the best binary options managers I have met in a while. I had lost over $4,500 on the advice of managers who have little to no experience. Today I remain grateful to… Mr GEORGE KELVIN for coming through for me during my early days of trials and errors' If you’re new to binary and Forex options and you’re already giving up, take my advice. Don’t loose your hard earned money unnecessarily. Reach

I lived in the Catalyst for a little over a year and during the pandemic. I'm moving out because of a job. This building is amazing. Everyone from management, to maintenance, to the front desk are every professional, welcoming, and accommodating. Also, they've been diligent with the cleaning, mask use, and social distancing during Covid. I've felt very safe during my stay. Everyone is very jovial and helpful. All the amenities are very clean, all the time. This is the only building I will ever stay in in Chicago. The neighborhood is also quiet with lots of food choices on Randolph

UPDATE: We've been living at Catalyst for over two years now and can't imagine ever leaving so long as we're in the city. Catalyst is the only apartment building that lives up the hype.. and even got better over time. The staff is better than any building in the area.. it feels like home! They know every resident on a first name basis, take care of our plants/unit while we're out of town and packages are always quick so efficient. I appreciated the extra mile they went to all year.. They take security and safety seriously. They confirm every guest or delivery. The lease renewal

I've been living at Catalyst for about two years now and cannot imagine living anywhere else. The apartments are gorgeous and modern inside, get lots of light and have massive balconies. The amenities in the building are top notch and constantly maintained; in fact, the already lovely rooftop furniture and fire pits were upgraded this season for even better versions! The gym is large, well equipped, and always clean. Oh, and the pool is awesome and has one of the best sunset views in the city.

The maintenance and front door staff are wonderful but the support from management is nonexistent.
My apartment was impacted by leaking water from an apartment 5 floors up. The building hired contractors who placed 4 industrial fans in my apartment and took off the baseboards. My baseboards were left with nails sticking out in my apartment and dust all over my furniture. All I was offered was a vacant apartment to sit in with no cable internet or furniture. After 3 days of the fans blowing nonstop, interrupting my sleep and work, I had the decibels of the fans rated. They were at a level that

This is a really nice building. Great community, really solid staff, really solid location. Giving 3 stars because as the months go by, I get more and more upset about how I was treated by one specific manager.
The short version is this: I emailed the office about noise that a neighbor was making on weeknights. When it's 11:30 and you need to get up at 6:30, it's important to get some shut eye.
The office responded and accused me of letting my friends smoke on our building roof when there was a party of 20 other people up there.
I confirmed it wasn't my group and then was asked

There are so many good things to say about the Catalyst. I will organize each area.
Management/Leasing Office: I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS. They promptly respond to your emails, take care of any issues to the best of their ability, communicate things very well, etc. Manny and Aggie are phenomenal and really will do anything that they can to help out.
Front desk: the same people are consistently working which makes it easy to get to know them. Also, I am blown away at the small amount of time that it takes them to email you letting you know that you received a package. Our old building

My girlfriend and I moved into a 1 bedroom at Catalyst at the end of April 2019 and there is a lot to love about this place.
Unit - Good size, not huge, not small, but good layout allows you to use every last square foot. Nice appliances, some of the finishes on the cabinets are a bit worn, but it's not really a concern to us. Two of the biggest selling points were the closet space and large balcony. These are not easy to find in 1 bedrooms, especially around West Loop or River North.
Location - Best location I have lived at. Steps from The Loop and Randolph Street restaurants, easy

We spent 2 wonderful years here at Catalyst and moved out October 2016. We still wish to leave our initial 5 star review but I feel to make our review more reliable we need to identify some issues.
1 on the plus side when your lease is up you have very flexible renewal options regarding time of next lease but even the long lease renewal options go up quickly. For example over the two years our lease went up 18%. We had two lease renewals so they were shorter terms but if we had gone with a year it still would have gone up about 7%. So lock up as long a lease as you can. Anything can go with rent

If I could buy a unit here as a condo I probably would. I have looked at about 20 competing buildings in and around the neighborhood and this is the best. Price wise, I feel, all the buildings are priced tightly in terms of the various trade-offs so it isn't about price shipping. Amenity wise, this building is top notch. I love the building being a mid-rise as you get all the feel of a luxurious high-rise and also the feel of a small community home where you are a person and part of the family as opposed to a cold busy hotel feel. The location is well balanced. The staff is world class

We just moved out of the Catalyst (and only moved because we purchased a place in the area). I cannot say enough nice things about the building and the team working there. I really felt like they were my family and I always felt 'at home.' The building itself is beautiful and new with amazing amenities. There are a wide variety of people living there (single in their 20s, empty nesters and new families with little ones (like mine)). The building tries to strike a balance for all of the people living there and hosts events for everyone. They are very responsive (for example, with

I just moved out of the Catalyst apartment building having lived there 10 months. The rating above says it all. It's as good as it gets for apartment living. From my move in to my move out everything was great. The apartment was fantastic and price competitive compared to other buildings in the area. The amenities are amazing. The fitness center and yoga room are better than I've ever seen in any building. The concierge downstairs become not just people at the door but your friends. I had to move out a couple of months early to take a job in a new city and the leasing staff and

After looking at several high-amenity apartments in the West Loop like Left Bank, Echelon, K2 -- we chose Catalyst primarily because:
1) New & modern - still has that brand new apartment smell...you know the one.
2) More sophisticated - compared to some of the other apartments that carried a frat party feel
3) Smaller building - less traffic, quiet atmosphere, more intimate events
4) Location - right off the highway, grocery stores abound, and a few mins walk away from restaurant row or Ogilvie Station.
After living here for 3 months, we couldn't be happier. We have felt validated on

After looking around at many apartments around Chicago, including many of the newly built buildings I am confident in endorsing the Catalyst. Unfortunately I am unable to move into the building as the sale of my condo has fallen through but both of the leasing agents had been very helpful and understanding of my situation. They were willing to accommodate me within a very short time and then adjusted when that time frame changed.
As far as the building goes, my only complaint is the entrance doesn't really look like an apartment building. It kind of looks like an office building but

Perfect location - walk to Mariano's (soon Whole Foods, also) and tons of great Randolph and Madison Street restaurants/bars. Target, Trader Joe's and a bunch of other shopping is just over a mile - having the dedicated, in-building parking makes that an easy trip. Just a couple of blocks to the train stations, which means buses are close, too.… For being just about 800 sq. ft., our one-bedroom unit has amazing closet space, full-sized laundry and huge breakfast bar that easily fits 4 barstools. Nine-foot ceilings help. So spoiled by having a fitness center and yoga/exercise studio with
