TL/DR: MILA is a great place to live and I would highly recommend
We have been living at MILA Chicago for the past 6 months and it has honestly been the best place we have lived - great amenities (the gym in particular), management, and location. The entry, elevators, & hallways are clean and clear. The apartments themselves are well built - we especially like the windows and gas range. Location is great as it is central to everything, close to the parks and the lake, and a bustling area. Only downside is the traffic noise on Michigan, but the units are pretty well insulated and noise pollution

There are also very pet friendly, have a dog run and spa services once a month that can ease the process of getting your fav friend groomed!

I recently took a tour of MILA with the help of Gary Carlson, and instantly fell in love with the views and location. You can’t beat being right in the heart of the city with so many amenities in the building (including an awesome rooftop pool + view). The constant communication and immediate help with my questions were what won me over, thanks to Gary. Can’t wait to call MILA my home!

It truly is incredible to be steps away from architectural icons, a world-class museum, renowned parks and shopping, and even more incredible to call a place located next to all of this your HOME!

I love living at MILA. The property manager, Michael Gudino is wonderful and actually takes the time to listen to you when there is a concern. In addition, Dante and Tamara at the front desk are STELLAR. They are extremely friendly and make you feel so welcome at MILA. I always feel extremely safe. The building is always very clean and taken care of multiple times throughout the day. Gorgeous amenities and beautiful unit plans. A part of the reason I continue to resign is due to how well we have been taken care of here at this building.

Management here does not care about residents. They charged me 1500 dollars (and took it out of my account with no forewarning) for damages which they have no proof of. They are also resistant to communicating over email since they don't want me to have a paper trail. This place is a scam, please do not waste your time or money here, there are much nicer and cheaper apartments in the city.

It is very rare for me to actually leave reviews. However after living here for 6 months I have to say this is the first apartment I ever lived in that actually lived up to and exceeded my expectations. I have found from previous experiences that it is common for apartments to exaggerate their amenities/community events. But Mila really does go above and beyond so that its residents can have the best experience possible.
Also you just have to meet with Michael our property manager and our leasing team. They are just on a different level. 5/5 👌👍

Cool building. No issues really. Staff are nice including maintenance and office. Demarco on the front desk is especially great. The places are nice and modern. I'm in a big 1BR corner unit. Note - I did kind of screw up and not realize I got a handicapped apartment so my cabinets are very low. Moved in during COVID so I didn't get to see this place in person beforehand.
I'd move here again. Doing a 16 month lease currently to save some money. It is an expensive place though. If you're not splitting it or making a good buck, I'd look else where for cheaper.

I truly love living here at MILA, the staff has gone above and beyond in making sure we felt welcomed. After viewing quite a few options, Julia was our amazing agent. Her knowledge of the area, building, and sticking with our budget was key in making this a successful decision. I enjoy the food trucks that come visit the building, and can't wait to attend more events. So far my 3 months at MILA with my bf has been amazing. Also Tamara is amazing!

Living at MILA was one of the smoothest and most pleasant rental experiences we have had. The building is is very well-maintained and the shared areas are great especially the lounge on the 41st floor.
Unfortunately we had to move out because of moving to another state.
The entire team at MILA from the leasing agents to front desk staff to the management office are friendly, professional, and super helpful. I would like to give a shout-out to Kelvina Carter for the amazing support we had during our move our process. Thank you!

MILA. What can I say about MILA. I moved to Chicago in Dec. 2019 - just in time for the global pandemic of 2020.
With that being said, and given the circumstances, I believe the management and staff of MILA went above and beyond - listening more than talking and being transparent with how they were re-opening things like the workout facility, pool and common areas.
There was no textbook on how to do this, but I give credit to the MILA team for doing the best they could.

Even though I have moved on and had to relocate. I truly loved my experience at MILA. The staff overall were great and really cared about fixing issues quickly. I will continue recommending MILA if any of my friends seek a downtown location. You really can't beat the location and the views I had in my apartment.

Great place to entertain company and live. I have lived here since April and there's no place in Chicago I could see myself living otherwise. During this COVID-19 experience, I not only have felt safe, but the staff makes you feel like you're at home from the moment you enter the building. Can't wait for the summer again to hang out by the pool!!!!!

The front desk staff, led by Dimarco, learn resident names, respond quickly to requests, and know the pulse of the building. I have lived in luxury apartments for a while now and hands down this is the best luxury apartment building in Chicago. The staff is truly incredible, to be specific leasing managers- Kristin and Emily will take care of anything you may need. It's truly an honor to live with such great people around you and great vibes all around.

My experience with MILA has been amazing so far! The leasing agents Roxie and Julia have been so responsive and accommodating. They have provided so much useful information and have been really helpful. Emily in the management has been really great as well! This has definitely been the best experience I've ever had dealing with leasing agents and management in my life. I can't say enough nice things about how this place is run. They have made moving so easy.

Update on my review! There are way too many air b and b's ran out of this building. It does not leave me feeling safe at all. It also takes away the luxury high rise feel and makes it feel more like living in a hotel. Also, our neighbors are VERY loud. We've followed the instructions and called the front desk to have them turn their music down multiple times and yet the problem continues. With summer coming around again there is also the noise of the street drummers as well. There are less expensive places with better noise management practices.

Great view from 41st Floor! We recently had a family get together to celebrate a birthday at the Lounge on 41. It was perfect! The set up is great for a gathering and the views of the city are tremendous! The staff and management were super friendly and helpful with all parts of the event. Can't wait for summer to use the pool!

My girlfriend and I went to MILA yesterday and just dropped in for a visit. Julia was there and had an appointment in 30 minutes but still took the time to show me several units in the building as well as all of the amenity floors. After my visit she followed up and answered all the questions I had. The building is absolutely beautiful and the location and views are amazing. I applied online and the process was quick and easy. Can't beat the service I received (especially after spending most of the day looking and Julia was the only one to follow up) and it made my decision to pick MILA very

We got an in-town here, and so far I have no complaints- and I can complain, believe me.
True, there are flat panel closet doors in the bedroom, and there are shower curtains instead of glass doors in the bathroom. Upgrades here would have been nice, but I'm just nitpicking.
I looked high and low (well, not low- I wanted a view!!) for the right place, and MILA delivered.
High ceilings, 2 zone heat/ac, stainless appliances, gas cooktops, kitchen cabinet space beyond belief!
X1 cable included (2 boxes- dedicated gaming spot!) and floor to

I am sharing what I consider to be a fair assessment and generous rating of the building after living in a one bedroom unit on the 12th floor from July to November 2016. After a few months in the building, I decided to pay a considerable one time fee (2x monthly rent) to exit the lease. It was the first time I had ever ended a lease early.
PROs:
- Doorstaff was top notch - deserving of 5 stars if rated alone
- Location was great if working in the Loop or River North neighborhood
- Restaurant options in River North and river-walk/parks were near
