The Square

This place takes care of their people!
From the moment we decided we /might/ want to live here, the staff has been so accommodating. They answer all of our emails, they’re so inviting, and they create such a welcoming environment. From the front desk to the Trash Fairies I have had no bad interactions with the employees. Additionally, they’re always eager to answer any questions you have! Just pop on in and they will take care of you.

I cannot recommend the Square enough. I lived here for two years in college and other apartment complexes pale in comparison. The management staff is super nice and accommodating, and were always available to help with any issue we had. The maintenance staff was also amazing as well, and were so friendly and helpful in fixing small issues immediately. The building is clean and well-managed, safe, has really nice amenities, in a great location, and the Square management does an excellent job of creating a sense of community with their monthly events. I have nothing but good things to say.

I lived at the Square Apartments for 3 years during college and I had the best experience. The leasing office and maintenance staff is incredibly helpful and kind, and really take the time to get to know each resident! They’re also very efficient on responding to any concerns or inquiries. The Rent price for what you get (renovated apartments, clubhouse, gym, security, location, etc) is very reasonable! I strongly recommended to anyone wanting to live nearby the VCU campus.

Lived here for many years and it’s a great place to live. Never realized how great this place was until I left and had to deal with other apartments. Never had any issues, and if I did it was resolved immediately with ease. All the staff goes above and beyond to make your living experience the best, they really feel like family in the end. Miss this place already!

I had a great experience living at the Square! The office team really works hard to make it feel like home. They’re super responsive and helpful, and all the amenities are so convenient and a wonderful plus. I’ll miss living here!

Best apartment complex ever! The staff is great and so welcoming. Everyone tries to create a sense of community. Maintenance is fast and great! Living here for 2 years and wouldn't want it any other way. They have a lot of amenities and it is very spacious. Perfect for college students and others too!

This is the best place to live on campus at VCU by far. the amenities are amazing and everything is always clean. It's a small staff and they're all super nice. This place has definitely enhanced my college experience.

Really great spot if you’re looking to live in the middle of it all. Really cool staff, spacious, affordable, and pet friendly. They have a variety of different layouts and awesome amenities. Perfect for college student or young professional

I lived here for 2 years and loved it. It is super convenient to students who are enrolled on VCU's Monroe Park Campus (5-10 minute walk depending on where you are on campus). It is also close to many other things too (restaurants, grocery stores, etc). Despite it being one of the most expensive places I looked at (and the most expensive rent amongst my friends group), it has the nicest amenities in the area, a washer and dryer in unit, the kitchen appliances are also new/modern (and I dearly miss my ceramic stove top), no issues with pest and is well worth the price. The apartments are beautiful, and the staff is amazing. They make the place feel more like home and they make living here so much fun! They are definitely dog friendly and they will always make sure that your time living here is memorable. I love this place and the family that I gained from living here <3
