Originally built in 1879 this beautiful Victorian property was formerly used as a private residential dwelling before being transformed into the Grosvenor Hotel in 1990. Currently operating on a bed and breakfast basis, a full locally sourced and freshly cooked breakfast is included in your overnight price.

All Superior Doubles have en-suite facilities with shower and bath, a king size bed, free wireless internet access and tea &. All single rooms have en-suite facilities with shower, a standard single bed, free wireless internet access and tea & coffee.
Whether you are here for business or leisure, if you are travelling solo, our comfortable and standard single room is just the right size for you. The Grosvenor has 16 standard single room located on different floors. Each standard single room is equipped with all the comforts and amenities that you need during your stay in Plymouth.
With its four poster bed and luxurious en-suite, our charming Grand Suite is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, an anniversary or birthday celebration or even for your honeymoon. Our friendly staff will be more than happy to arrange that special flower arrangement or bottle of champagne or whatever you may desire to celebrate the occasion.
Our Family Suite is an ideal option for families or small groups of up to 5 adults. Located on the ground floor the suite consists of three adjoining rooms - 2 bedrooms and a small dressing room. The main bedroom hosts a king size double bed with a large flat screen TV and a dining table with 4 chairs.

Does what it says on the tin, just a basic family house hotel and staff enjoying there life's as we go through covid times and enjoyed the breakfast, was moved rooms due to water leak but I believe they just moved me cus it had a bath and you know what I used that bath 🤣 so hot and used well and eat the most I could. Great for family or weekend away to see plymouth x

From the booking phonecall to the booking out we had kind, efficient service. Rooms were lovey and clean. Some people have commented about parking but we had no problem with on street parking and if you have the parking APP. you don't even need to leave your room to pay for more time.
If you want a comfortable place to stay with the town a short walk away plus a fabulous breakfast then this is the place to book. Highly recommended.

Lovely lovely place , great spot between front and town centre. For the price had a lovely room, lovely staff free breakfast. Minor niggles including door lock slamming in top rooms when can easily be fixed, problems reported should be fixed at least next day and more teabags. But didn't spoil a lovely trip there except the weather that kept me inside second day of 3 and town centre of Plymouth being a S**thole, surrounding areas are lovely and scenic.
Will be looking at this place first if I come again.

A very nice hotel and better than expected.
I was really pleasantly surprised with my stay here.
The hotel was very clean and well presented.
The room a nice size.
The TV had Netflix and Amazon Prime.
All the staff were friendly and breakfast very good.
The receptionist was really lovely and helpful.
I would recommend in a heartbeat.
My only very minor criticism is the coffee is really bitter/strong. Some better beans would make all the difference.
Parking you can get a permit from the lovely receptionist. £5 for 24 hours
