I visited this complex to look at an apartment (for sublet), and the walls are paper-thin. You can hear the road noise clearly in the main rooms, and the complex didn't do anything (e.g. double-paned windows) to try to block out the sound. It's like a constant, background hum (from the major roadways nearby) -- but, if you can tune out noises around you, then it might not bother you. There's also exposed pipes in the storage area and the washroom.
So, basically, like most modern, "luxury" apartments, their buildings look nice, but they're poorly built.

The WORST student housing you’ll ever get. Within the first 3 months of me living here my car was towed because they gave me the wrong parking sticker and they were trying to make me pay the $75 to have my car back. The property manager tried to argue with me for 20 minutes after avoiding my calls multiple times as if it was my fault my car was towed. Everybody that was in the office was less than helpful and tried to get me to drop it and just pay the $75 because “everybody’s been towed from here.” The property manager even knows how bad Floyd’s Wrecker Service is for towing people that

There are many reason to not select Knox Ridge. Too far from campus being a big one. Their security deposit isn't really one as it is non refundable. Plus, 4 months after check out you can expect bogus charges for "damage". When you question it, they are non responsive. I have always gotten my deposit back and never incurred damage fees before - until Knox Ridge. What a scam!
Students look closer to campus - many better, newer options.

Became aware of how they treat their customers if they are a person of color. Allow staff to harass people and they face no consequences for their racist actions. Better off living elsewhere. This Karen needs to be fired! There needs to be training from the top to the bottom on racial equality and the company as a whole needs to donate money to organizations to help people of color.

I would not recommend this complex whose employee (Cheryl Eastman) racially profiles students. She needs to be fired for her behavior that makes students feel unsafe at this university (not just suspended temporarily). If the University does not act, then that tells you that they support racism and prejudice and they are part of the problem. Rethink if this is the type of University you want to be affiliated with.

Really sad to see the owners of this establishment stand for racism! It's time for a change and "zero tolerance". You're waiting for this to be pushed under the rug but this community WILL NOT FORGET YOUR SILENCE.
