I rarely successfully received my packages because they were left in an open package room and apparently they got stolen. It's the tenth time that my package is missing. Also, this apartment is extremely unsafe. I've run into homeless people in this building several times. Sometimes, they even tried to break into my unit. They security is never improved.

My daughter just moved in one week ago, and her experience has been terrible. On the first day, wifi was not working. The security is too lax and even non existent. There have been homeless people in the lobby and the trash room very often. The manager only asked my daughter to call the police. The did not take any action or try to fix the problems. At night there is stranger wanting to break into my daughter’s studio. This is outrageous and dangerous!

On day of move-in and the time leading up to me signing my lease I found the staff to be very engaging with me and making sure I was taken care of, looking back I think that's only because I was in the process of signing with them and my dad was there. I've seen homeless people in the garbage room and looking through packages in the lobby, no out-of-office numbers to call if you have an emergency with the building or an incident is occurring, expected to call the police for everything, if there are concerns within the community those usually don't get addressed past one message, calling the office

Management team never respond to requests
As a residence in Nora, the only time the management team will notice you is during the renew season. My payment account was mistakenly closed by their accounting department and my security deposit has gone without any notice. I found out this when I tried to move out and the management team were making numerous excuses and avoiding the responsibilities. It is just so hard for the management team to respond and I don’t know if I can get my money back. The gift cards they offered when you signed the contract never reach either. There are a lot of other

Move in without the refrigerator, wifi, and cable working. Gave no instruction on how to set up wifi and cable. I had to personally navigate through the problem. Still no do not have cable and a working refrigerator. Extremely unprofessional experience here. The washer is broke too. For a person extremely familiar with the leasing process and finding an apartment, this is the worst place to ever consider. Do not recommend! Too many inconvenience and consistent problems.

AVOID THIS APARTMENT!!! I paid an application fee of $35 and also they required me to pay $100 a bed fee with the application. And then after I have submitted my application. I have emailed them and A staff member replied to a couple of my questions. After that I emailed her again to answer more questions because I don’t want to sign something straight away without knowing what I have to do and what I have to pay upon moving in. Apparently, she didn’t like answering questions a lot even after me paying an application fee and a bed fee and actually interested in leasing with them!!!
So I went

I was looking into studios as housing and came upon Nora apartments. I went into their office and the employees were very welcoming. One of the workers gave me a tour and he was super informative and very nice. The experience was memorable and I would definitely choose to live here except it isn’t in my budget. I highly recommend living in Nora apartments though.

I would only recommend you live here if you REALLY need to live close to UW.

Here were the 2 main problems I have noticed living here.

-2 star: Lack of privacy. There was one time I came out of the shower and this maintenance guy was randomly in my apartment. Another time, another maintenance person was in my studio when I came home. BOTH TIME WAS WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE
Edit: It happened three and two years ago, so it might have been under a different management. However, I will still leave this here, as it is plain unacceptable.

-1 star: Packages get stolen half of the time. Management does not

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT live here! This building is run by the most incompetent and unhelpful people on the planet. I have lived here for 3 years (only stayed bc my unit was rent controlled) and nothing has ever been done efficiently. I have had numerous packages stolen from the lobby with no help from management whatsoever. Maintenance will most likely not solve your problems if they even show up at all. The units are tiny and poorly built and extremely overpriced for what you're actually getting. The photos look nice and if you tour they will only show you one nice room but please

The faculties are welcoming and the apartment is not overpriced compared to the surrounding apartments on the Ave.
However, the management after moved in is not so satisfying. Throughout the handbook, there is not even specified instruction indicating the trash room, which led to a huge mess in the lounge area —stacks of kitchen wastes for 4 days. It is unacceptable since there is also faculty living in this building(no one ever seen it before I complain about it?)
Also, services don’t care whether you told them to notify their coming to you ahead of time. They basically come into your room

I was very disappointed by management at this apartment. When I first moved in the apartment was not cleaned at all and there were belongings left behind from the previous tenant. I also had to wait weeks to get anything fixed, which was especially inconvenient when they were appliances. It took weeks to get my washer/dryer fixed. The lock on my door broke numerous times, and the staff was not apologetic about it, even when I told them I had not felt safe sleeping at my apartment without a lock (considering the building has been broken into in the past). I was without a screen door for 10 months

I lived here for two years with excellent experience. 10 min to my lab in UW campus and many restaurants in 3 min. My room is quiet in 7th floor and on the roof you have a great view of Seattle downtown. With all necessary furnitures inside, it's convenient and peace of mind for students who don't want to treat with furnitures things.
The management staffs are also kind and easy to communicate with.

Overall not very pleased.... they charge you the full price of each month even if you are only living for a part of the month which is total rip off. They also don't let you see the apartment units before you sign the lease which is really sketchy. Especially as the unit I got was not like what was promised, it was supposed to have a corner window but it did not, the kitchenette was even smaller than the model unit's, and also it was right next to the trash room...

The apartments are pretty expensive and the only included furniture is really just a desk (no chair), bed, and tv. So you

I lived here from September 2016 until now. I would say my case is a special situation but it definitely reflected something about this property.
I want to start by saying the good things about this property. It is super close to the university, and it is also a relatively new building. The rooms are clean and I am particularly happy about my bathroom. It is spacious and modern. Some of the staffs are pretty helpful and are usually available if you have any questions. I want to particularly mention that the maintenance team (they repair if something doesn't work well) is very nice and helpful

So far the experience at Identity is great. It is mostly quiet and I have no problem with getting delivery. Although there is some bad points like small room considering the price and the room is quite cold because of the wood floor, everything else is quite okay. The bathroom is spacial. The portable stove works very well more than I expected though I wish I could have more cooking space.

Read your contract carefully!!!! and by that time I had paid 2 months rent for deposit, and 1 month for the first month, and I moved in the last week of the first month ( the date they allowed me to move in), and very soon they asked me to pay the following month again, I was so confusing at that time, so I keep contact them, and they told me the first month rent that I paid will count as the last month as well... So which mean I had paid almost 3 month rent ahead! And they never explain that when I sign the contact... BE CAREFUL!

One of the biggest mistakes I've done this year is signing the lease on this apartment. It's marketed as luxurious but it's not. The studios are really small and the kitchen is unsatisfactory. The only plus about this apartment is its location, other than it it's not worth your money. If you're looking for safety, someone broke into my room because the door locks were not working and I often see people sleeping inside the building.

I lived here for nine months, there are certainly good things but I would not recommend it overall.

The rooms are comfortable and well insulated. The furniture that comes with is pretty nice. In the studio there is no built in kitchen, at all, except a sink and microwave. The rooftop is a plus, and hardly anyone ever uses it. The security is nice.

The leasing managers are really nice, but engage in some questionable practices. For example, one of the reviewers who gave Identity 5 stars IS a leasing manager at Identity above. Just look at this link with their team: http://www.identityseattle.com

I have lived here for over four months now and thought I would write an update.

The apartment units themselves are pretty decent. They are advertised as "luxury" apartments, but there is nothing obviously luxurious about them. While the units look nice, everything is made with the cheapest materials and some of the furnishings are of laughable quality. There is no parking, no gym, etc. Its a pretty simple affair: you pay for an apartment and that is all you will get. The nice thing about living here though, is that there is easy access to U District attractions and there is a really

Great location near campus, apartments are clean and sunny. The building manager, Matt, is also really nice and knowledgeable. I just graduated, and I'd recommend Identity to students looking for housing near UW.
