The lady I've spoken to in the office is rude. Did not allow me to finish talking, and did not give me a chance to ask questions, just seemed like she wanted to get off the phone and didn't care to help me. I did not catch her name but it sounded like the last lady I spoke with who's name is Melissa.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE!! I relocated from Texas...found Evolve on Google, fell in love with the Revive Floor Plan, and settle here. Every day I'm please with my decision when I meet more and more neighbors, every time I come in contact with the ladies in the office, and the maintenance guy RJ is...AWESOME!!! Evolve thank you for making my first time settling in Seattle one of the best decisions of my life!

Edit: We moved out a month before our lease was up, without breaking our lease. When we received our water bill the water usage was magically 10x higher than previous usage and no one was even living there. It conveniently added up to the amount of the deposit that should have been returned to us. I no longer trust this company.

The building managers are very nice. But this building has lots of problems. Tooo many problems! 1. The whole building smells like boiling pork! Very disgusting! Because there is a ramen shop on the first floor, and the venting system pop the air to my apartment, NOT only the building, IN my apartment! I woke up in the middle of the night because of the stinky dead pig smell! 2. The walls are really thin, the window is not sound proof. I can hear my neighbor's TV and video game, as well as all the bars and night clubs around. The worst part is I can also hear the drunk people sing karaoke

I haven't rented from them but I had a really good experience talking with their leasing office. I called to ask about availability and they had nothing that would work for me. The woman on the phone knew I wouldn't probably be signing a contract but she still gave me a bunch of tips for renting in Seattle. It was super helpful and honestly more helpful than a lot of the places I call that had what I was looking for. I was very impressed that she would take the extra time without any benefit to herself!

Avoid this place as much as possible. While I was walking through, the apartment looked fine but when I moved in, there were issues where the bathroom was still dirty and smelled like cigarettes. If your room is on the north side with windows on it, you will not be able to sleep most nights with the music and drums continuing until 2am. The water leaked through the fire alarm few times where it would continuously beep until the water stopped leaking as well.

Rejoice! Rejoice! The reign of bad management is over! New management (Tanya and Melissa) are phenomenal. Snacks in the lobby, game nights, general good attitides, and the MINTS! Maintenance wizard Adam is always happy to help and extremely friendly.
My partner and I were worried after we moved in and read the reviews, especially after having some negative experiences with the manager at the time. Things are much better now and we are grateful to be in the building.
We highly recommend to anyone looking for housing on the hill.

We moved here about six months ago. The management (Tonya and Melissa) are very friendly and super responsive to requests. They have handled packages for me on several occasions, and there is a package center that you can sign up for. They also regularly send out resident satisfaction surveys and take action on the responses. The only downside is the lack of a fitness center. You definitely do hear neighborhood noise, but that's to be expected on Cap Hill! Overall, we love our apartment.

I absolutely loved my time living at Evolve. We moved here looking for a better experience and an upgrade from our previous Capitol Hill apartment(s) and we certainly got it! For example, the lobby is pretty and it is always clean. The staff is always cleaning and maintaining the hallways, stairwells and the roof, which is awesome! As I lived there they made several investments/improvements, like putting in a locker for packages, a small dog run and new furniture on the roof. The few times I needed a repairman (dishwasher part, refrigerator part) he would be there that day (he lived at Evolve)

Sad to leave Evolve but for the past 2 years I've had a great experience. It's the perfect location if you are new to Seattle. The neighborhood is vibrant and there's always something going on. You can walk to everything in Seattle!
Carol and her staff have been amazing! They are kind and friendly. Always open for a quick chat. If there was ever a problem it was quickly resolved.
I would live here again if I moved back to Cap Hill.

For the majority or my stay, I was mostly happy. Courtney was only there for part of my stay, but she was exceptional. Carol was always friendly, helpful, and responsive as well. Though there was the occasional issue with the trash smelling, or with vomit in the elevator (don't move to Capitol Hill if you expect more- I learned this the hard way).
My issue started when I was about to move out. I paid close to $4,000 in a break lease fee. Evolve was holding my deposit. I am one of the cleanest people you will ever meet, and my apartment was in considerably better condition than when

I love living here, and would recommend it to anyone. I moved in July, and Carol was very helpful with renting information, even when it looked like I wasn't going to be able to live there. (Luckily I got a unit :) )
The apartment is clean, modern, and has pretty stainless steel appliances. The walls do a good job of insulating sound too. If I could change one thing it would be te blinda, just because they're a hassle to maneuver. Otherwise it's spacious and light. Also the staff is friendly and always greets me and attends to requests quickly and nicely and thoroughly.

Enjoy staying here. Carol and Courtney have been extremely kind, thoughtful and professional in every interaction I've had with them. Carol has always been accommodating whenever I've had a visitor or housekeeper need access to a unit in my absence. Carol responds to emails in "real-time" which is refreshing if you're at an office like me where taking/making calls isn't always feasible.
The units themselves are nice and spacious. The finishes are modern and new with a light feel to them. The location is simply unbeatable with the soul of capitol hill foot steps

I just recently moved here, in September, and really like living here so far! One of my favorite parts is the view from the roof top and I even have a great view from my balcony in my apartment. I am especially excited that there is a washer and dryer and dishwasher included in my apartment! There is no ac but there is heating. One of my favorite parts in my apartment is the sliding doors that close off the sleeping area to give you more privacy (I'm talking about the studio plus apartment).

CAUTION!!! I was one of the first tenants at Evolve and after about 20 months, I moved out of the apartment. The complex has seen its share of management changes.. Nathan, Christine, some dude, Asenath and Nicole and now Carol. The complex has had its great days under Asenath and Nicole. It has now seeing its worst days under Carol. Right before I moved out, the office stopped accepting packages. UPS/ Fedex would drop off packages at your doorstep. I've had packages gone missing. Carol's excuse to me was that she just could not find the time to accept and manage packages.

I moved out in October 2015 and here we are a year later and I'm getting a call from collections due to the incompetence of the staff at Evolve. I would stay far away from renting at this apartment complex. READ BELOW REVIEWS.
Although, the actual apartment Units are nice and spacious, the actual building lacks in amenities, cleanliness, and ultimately customer service. The location is great if you like capital hill. However, if you are on any side facing the street where Moe bar is, look forward to not getting to sleep until 3am every night of the week.
Recently the front desk girls were replaced by Carol. (Who is god awful) In the few months that she has been here, she has managed to run this community to the ground.

To be fair, this place deserves at least one star for location. I want to give less. We signed on the first day they opened and lived there 1 year and 9 months. There were lots of problems in the beginning since they were new. We didn't get mail for a long time because the boxes wouldn't lock. One elevator didn't work (and still had issues when we moved out). We called it the deathavator since people got stuck in it and no telling when it would break again. The long promised dog run never was never put in. I think they finally took down the sign for it. Fire pit wasn't

Evolve has beautiful apartments, great amenities, and a great location. Walking down the hall, we can hear into other apartments. But when we're in our apartment, we can't hear our neighbors around us. We can hear the pounding of the person walking around upstairs daily, though. Then of course there's the normal things to expect on Capitol Hill these days: lack of street parking, constant noise (for the most part, only bass makes it into the building), and expensive prices.
