Our One on One program begins with a Complementary Consultation, where we discuss your goals, medical history and current nutrition. We then perform a Fitness Assessment, where objective information is gathered to help us determine the correct course of action needed to help you safely and effectively reach your goals.

Think of this as a "snap shot" of your current health and fitness level. We then can lay out a game plan, of how our customized nutrition, flexibility, resistance training and cardiovascular conditioning will reconcile your particular health and fitness situation. We set a date for your reevaluation, to determine your successes, and "tweak" your program to insure continued success!

The American Heart & American Stroke Association has released its new numbers, designating what is considered hypertension. Most physicians "control" blood pressure with medications, and suggestions of lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise and stress management. The two main classes of medications are BETA Blockers and ACE Inhibitors.
Your fitness routine literally begins with getting up an hour earlier at least three days a week to prepare your meals to go and workout clothes in the morning before heading off to work. Make sure you have a balanced meal before and after that workout, there is noting worse then jumping into a workout with low blood sugar or low energy.
Keenan Medical Fitness (KM Fitness) first opened on Main Street as Fitness Together in 2003 (our location is now at 93 Atlantic Avenue, Manasquan, NJ). Our goal was to personally design fitness, health and nutrition to the individual, as opposed to the large group fitness programs so prevalent today.
With the recent popularity explosion in the sports/fitness industry I am often confronted by the paradox of calorie burning for calorie burning sake! Would you buy a shipment of lumber to simply pile it up, set it on fire, and just watch it burn? No, you would build something with it, a house, a boat, a deck, something!
