I would leave no stars if I could this is been the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in to this day. it was a complete dungeon there was no windows to the outside no parking I had to pay for parking on the street and then when I moved out my microwave handle was broken and they charge me $85 for it plus another 75 to clean the place and then it took over 40 days for me to get my deposit back and then it wasn’t even able to cash or deposit because it had my name and the guarantor‘s name on it I would highly recommend not staying in these apartment complexes worst experience of my life

Levco management company creates an unsafe, neglected environment.

Homeless man smoking and sleeping on a moldy bed below the stairwell for over two months now! Stinking up half the building and littering. Front and rear entrances usually left unlocked and broken into. Packages left out in the open to be stolen. Two cars in the past 5 months have been broken into the parking garage below the residences. Floors in the building rarely get cleaned. Funky smell throughout the entire building. Terrible thin walls that I can hear my neighbors simply walk around.

It's unbelievable how neglected

Don't live here there are much better options. The place is always crawling with bugs. The floors are never clean there are vomit stains still from 4 months ago. The leasing office is perpetually "receiving high call volume" which is total bull. There is not even optional garage parking. Internet constantly goes out with nothing you can do about it but hope it comes back up soon. I wish I had known this going into it. Hopefully this helps you make a better decision than I did.

Not going to specify my situation with them but this place is bad as all the reviews point to. It’s not just the inside you have problems with it’s the outside too.

No parking, no parking, and no parking!!!!! It's always some liquid in the hallway. Management...don't get me started. At least it's on the bus line and close to restaurants.

This building is ALL VCU students who treat the building like a dorm. The walls are super thin, I can hear everything from my neighbor's dog barking to someone sneezing. The street parking is awful and there is no place to rent an actual spot in a garage anywhere so prepare to pay for street parking (if there is any) and to get a parking tickets if you forget for an hour. The room itself is decent but the other factors make living here not worth it.

Since Levco has taken over the building it has just made my stay here worse.. The Levco office has a phone line that just sends you straight voicemail and they never return calls. The best way is to email but sometimes they'll just ignore it. My ac unit broke at the beginning of summer and they say someone will come and fix it. Here I am in October now with no one that has come back to do anything about it. This is the 3rd company I've rented with and I recommend keeping your distance.

If I could put zero stars I would. Renting at the IronHouse Apartments was the worst experience in renting an apartment that I have ever had.
To start, the building itself is gross. There were cockroaches and bugs everywhere. The flooring is falling apart, and there is no bike storage at all. My mail has been stolen twice, and there was mold in the bathrooms upon my move in.
Next, the management office is horrible at communication. I had an issue with my rent payment, and it took seven emails and four phone calls to solve. This all due to the fact that I would email them and get no response.

The roof caved in above my bed due to water damage. They told me that someone would come to fix it every week for a month, and in a one bedroom studio, I had to sleep on the futon in my livingroom. They gave me a small amount of compensation, not for the damage, but because they told me they'd be there sooner. I had to buy a new bed because of nasty water soaked into my bed and only used half of my apartment for a month. They never clean the lobby so always had spilled alcohol, trash, and urine smell. Not professional or reliable. Do not recommend.
