Services
West Side Flats provides an on-site maintenance tech M-F during normal business hours. Any after-hours maintenance emergencies will be dispatched to our on-call maintenance, RSO. Underground parking is available starting at $120 a month. Guests and residents can park in surface lot spots that are not assigned to commercial tenants - first come, first served.

My car was broke into in the underground parking lot and personal belongings were stolen. I also had to pay $500 to my car insurance to repair the broken window and the seat belt that was smashed with a big rock. My car was parked inside the garage at west side flats that me and my husband pay each month. The reason why my car was broken into is because the garage door lock was broken and the administration failed to immediately repair that lock and provide safe space to the residents. This property is such a disappointment. The amenities listed are a joke. There is no concierge service, although a leasing agent does sit at the front desk during business hours. Packages go missing regularly, which has prompted me to pay for an offsite mailbox. The garage parking and storage units are not secure as cars, bikes, and storage lockers are regularly broken into or stolen. It is frustrating that In order to keep myself and my belongings safe, I have had to rent an offsite storage unit and cancel my parking contract. I am severely disappointed with my interactions with April at West Side Flats. She completely dropped the ball when it came time to re-sign our lease to the point where we had to hound her to get us the paperwork multiple times and we could no longer give proper notice of our departure. Excellent Management and staff. From April, Briana, Jenny, Sam and anyone else I have encountered. They do what they can to make sure you are happy! They are approachable and really work with you for instance if you have a package issue or parking or maintenance issue, but they stick to the rules and they should! This is a large metropolitan area and with that you get some negative situations, but the Team will handle that swiftly and professionally. I really enjoy living here and think Sherman Associates should recognize the staffs hard work! Thank you WSF!

I have had the worst experience with this complex and its mostly because of unrepresented management. This management team DOES NOT communicate MAJOR changes to your apartment. Here are examples (they cancel MY INTERNET account without notice, they towed our rental car without notice, management office often closes outside of office hours without notice). Our packages are often left locked in an office or left on the floor in the lobby unattended (even during office hours). I have been here for only 6 months and these problems have been consistent. The apartments themselves are newer and nice.

Everything here is very nice! The big windows are super nice as well! This building is very dog friendly, however there are a few people that I have bumped into that are terrified of dogs but that is because of their religion. There is a fog park right across the bridge and there are many paths to take your dogs for a walk. The street can be a little noisy at times but it's nothing you can get away from from living right across downtown. The people here are friendly and so is the staff. Parking is probably the worst thing here but there is garage and assigned parking if someone is interested in

They have a indoor pool, a workout space and a room where you can host parties. They also have a couple grills, by the pool and the party room. The one-bedroom apartments are not huge, but they are bigger than a studio. The layout isn't bad and the prices are also not bad for Saint Paul. They are close to SF downtown and they are on a bus route. I look of the apartments is not bad, but it's not my favorite, which is the downside for me, but other people may really like it. They have bigger places available, two bedrooms and such as well.

I am on new levels of aggravation with this staff. There are countless amounts of problems that we have been dealing with for the 9+ months we have been paying to live in this building.
We had been paying way too much money for a reserved parking spot for months and yet we find out that our parking spot doesn't actually belong to us which is why we got towed.
We have had to re-order packages because of the disregard for everyone's belongings in the lobby of the building (as packages are ALWAYS laying out for any and anybody to just grab and go), both front call boxes are never working at the

Management was poor. Communication between management and residents was poor. Definitely not "Luxury Living"... They keep the halls at 90 degrees and stairwells even hotter during the summer, parking is unfriendly unless you want to pay $$$ for a garage spot, The sky deck lounge is frequently rented out so the other residents are not allowed to use it or the grill. Pet friendly slogan is a joke... it should be "allows pets." Minimal pet waste areas, a high percentage of residents seem to be scared of pets, and they tac on a nice premium for the pet without the amenities. Read your lease agreement

I currently live at the Flats and will say i have had nothing but a great experience from the staff. I have seen some reviews and complaints for the approval process and inability to contact management. This must have been a past issue that has been resolved. I was approved within 24 hrs and have never been unable to contact management. The staff in my opinion has been awesome and very friendly.
