Not updated at all for how much they’re charging!!!! Managemnet is good, we use to stay at the galtier towers as well! super friendly people who live here as well and everything is pretty close. Only thing I will say is the a/c is awful in the summer( be expected to pay around $150-200 if you don’t wanna be sweating)and if you run it expect your bill to be high, and heat in our apartment had gone out already twice in our apartment in the middle of winter when it’s been below 0°. Another thing, also be aware of loud music and just loud people in general above you, many complaints have been

I lived at Mears for 4 years. My experience was pretty good. I had a private entrance, the walls are really thick and I didn’t hear my neighbors, with the exception of a few times when one decided to have a screaming match with their partner. I never had a problem with my neighbors, although some can be nosey. The park is right across the street, and this is where you’ll take your dog, although I wish they had an area inside the courtyard for dogs. Pre-COVID, many free events were held at the park. They have a locked mailroom and a Luxor room for packages, never had a problem with stolen packages

From the tour of my apartment, to moving in & maintenance requests the team at Mears Park place has been wonderful! I have never had such a wonderful experience with leasing/ office staff and I look forward to living here a long while. I’ll update this review when I move out to provide a more extensive review of the living/ move out experience.

Pretty good place to live. Not too expensive although my room is on the cheaper end but it's a nice studio for what I'm paying for. Parking is a bit pricey but it's worth it to have in downtown and it will be nice especially when winter comes around. Maintenance is pretty quick when things break down. They recently replaced the washing machines and dryers. Staff is kind and helpful too.

Overall, I'm giving a four star rating because of the building itself is showing its age but the employees get an emphatic five stars for sure. I really can't say enough good things about the staff here at Mears Park Place. As an older building this place needs a bit of TLC from time to time. The staff is unbelievably prompt in responding to maintenance requests and has been great to work with. This is a quiet community with a large number of long term renters so you get to see a lot of familiar faces. The location is excellent with easy access to the Skyway, public transit and all that Lowertown

Worst apartment I’ve ever lived in by far. Management is terrible and deceiving, make sure to get all conversations in writing because they will back track on their word. Not a safe place to live, was a break in last year and was not uncommon for homeless people to hang out in the staircase right by my room. Heat broke down weekly in the winter, in the summer our electric bill was close to 200$ and there wasn’t even an AC unit or light fixture in my room.. Fire alarm went off all the time for no reason. Then for one last farewell gift they’ll take half your deposit out for “cleaning fees”

Mears Park Place Apartments is Saint Paul's best kept secret! From its awesome amenities to its downtown location, it's an absolute gem. We love our apt and how the Mears Park team takes the time to make everyone in our building feel like good friends and neighbors, not strangers.

Worst management to deal with out of anywhere I’ve lived. Heat goes out regularly in the fall/winter and is not very warm when it is working. Our apartment flooded due to old windows during heavy rains and we were told they were getting bids to replace all the windows, which never happened... All they did was bring industrial fans in to dry out the carpet.
They are corporate owned, so you know they will never do the right thing and reimburse someone even when it’s justified. The location was the only plus, but during covid nothing is even open around here and homelessness has drastically increased

I've lived here for 5 years now and I am very happy with Mears Park Apartments! I started out in a studio apartment and then transitioned down to a one bedroom apartment on the first floor. I like the apartments on the first floor better because they have washers and dryers where as floors 2-8 you have to use the communal laundry room. Rent is more expensive on the first floor, but all the buildings in the neighborhood have comparable rates it's expensive to live downtown! I have always felt very safe in this neighborhood, even letting my dog out late at night. The apartment is dog friendly

I've lived here for almost eleven years and have never had a problem, so I'm not sure what the other two reviewers are talking about. Office staff has always been super friendly and professional, and very accommodating to residents. Great location in Lowertown, skyway accessible, underground parking, brand new fitness center, a pretty new courtyard, I love it here!
