Vesty Park Flats & Townes

Viewed and applied for an apartment here. Had to pay a $75 holding fee in addition to the application fees. According to the papers they gave us, the holding fee would be refunded if we were denied for any reason. What they don't tell you is that it can take up to 60 days for them to return it because they insist on writing a check rather than returning it to the card you used to pay. The man I spoke with on the phone (something with an L) was very rude and abrupt with me when I was asking questions. All in all, they are not transparent about their processes and the if the staff doesn't do well

Bed bugs, roaches, the heat keeps turning off for days at a time and it's the middle of December, they overcharged our utilities by over a hundred dollars for MONTHS and then when they finally admitted their mistake they said they couldn't provide reimbursement.
Attempted burglary happened while I was home and the police said it happens a lot here because people leave the doors open and some of the side doors don't lock.

It’s a good place to live in, just there’s a bit of cockroaches around the house, but overall a good home but bad area to live in its really ghetto and if you have kids and your moving in make sure you don’t let your kid hang out with the kids here all of them are really bad and aren’t good friends I’ve gone through it and you won’t want your kid to go through it either.

I absolutely hate seeing new potential renters taken by the nice new management office. That and the website pictures are the best thing you'll see at Vesty. If you are in their management office, try walking to the right of the building and you'll start seeing issues right away.

We moved in summer of 2020 and regret the choice every day.
We were not able to get a tour due to COVID-19 but checked out google reviews and called about those concerns. We were assured that a new security company was hired and gate issues were fixed. They probably continue to say this. We were sold based

*Our dishwasher was broken our entire time during our lease
*When we put in work orders they were marked as complete but never actually fixed

Worst move in experience I've ever gone through and I came from out of state. You all keep saying you're understaffed... fix it. The washers and dryers don't work and neither do the machines to put money on the card for them. I was told over the phone that this was a gated community; it is not a gated community if there is no GATE that shuts. I have been followed while walking my dog in the complex and harassed, I have found a homeless man in my stairwell, and I have also found blood in my stairwell that has still not been cleaned in two weeks. It's disgusting here and you all

The worst property manager! She is a liar!
Horrible horrible! Don’t work here and definitely don’t live here! she only cares about “whats best for the company” which is “there is alot of money to be made here” Manager doesn’t care about no one but money!!

THE WORST.
I signed the affidavit provided by management along with my roommates to release me from the lease and they sent written confirmation that I was released from the lease. Fast forward to a year later and they tell my prospective landlord that my unit still owed money to them even though I was legally removed from the lease months before these charges were imposed. I wouldn’t recommend this property,I recently went in to apply. When I was in the office I overheard the manager, forget her name, Starts with a T maybe? Talking unprofessionally about one of her employees. As a fellow manager, I would recommend some training or stepping down from a position of power. You have the lead role and that’s how you lead? Hopefully she treats her tenants with more respect because that is just unprofessional. You lost a potential tenant.

This has been my shower for two months now...
SO many phone calls and now they won't even answer the phone or return my calls when I leave a message.
I don't know what to do at this point.

I know the relatively cheap prices to rent here are enticing but don't be deceived. It's not worth it!!! Elevator, laundry room and hallways are filthy and often the smell is nauseating. When I put in work orders I receive a response literally 2 months later, or receive an email saying that the issue has been resolved when no one has come to fix it yet. It's nearly impossible to get in touch with the office or get a response on anything. They refused to fix the key fob scanner on the laundry room door so a homeless person stole an entire load of my husband's clothes...management refused to do anything

This apartment is the biggest scam ever. When I first went there they showed me a furnished room that supposed to be similar to what i will get. But the one that i got was so damaged and smelled like weed. It wasn’t even clean when i got it. My biggest mistake was choosing an apartment without looking at the rate/reviews. I lived there for four months then I had to break my lease for the following reasons. 1- the staff were horrible/rude, their office is empty almost all the time. 2- the apartments are very cheap and not worth the price. 3- the place is NOT safe to live in, there was a burglar

This place houses those who really are desperate for a place or have big families cramped in small places or just.... as much as I find this place not classy, the state of the townhouse is bad and the people you see around are questionable, not once my car got broken in to even it has all my belongings in it and a cargo on top, so props to that!

So much fun and happy thoughts here it was the best memories that I had growing up there and it was good to have experienced the love I g family that I have and had then. It'll be fun to go and relive those special moments Thanks yo god Almighty

Worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. They refuse to fix any maintenance requests. They say a flooding sink, spraying dishwasher and a kitchen sink that fell through into the cabinet, isn't an emergency and they won't fix it at all during COVID.

BEWARE!!!!******When you move out they will give no efforts to contact you at your forwarding address and send you directly to collections when you've overpaid your balance + deposit. when trying to get an itemized list of damages, they said the debt was no longer in their hands and contact the debt collector to get documents or information. Aly Anchondo the Assistant Community Manager was in no help at all with the process and rather rude when spoken to in person. I've never lived anywhere so horrible in my life, I would recommend this to NO ONE. This place has roaches, bed bugs etc

This place is a giant bed bug joke. The management are awful just plain rude. I have plenty of pictures do not move your furniture in. I have several things broken and stolen nothing has been returned or fixed. If you love pigeons this is your destinatioon.
