My husband and I moved from out of state. Moving can be pretty stressful but the staff here made the move in process an easy transition for us! We worked with Clay and he was so quick to get us all of the answers that we needed. He made sure that we had everything needed prior to move in to help our big day stress free. On move in day we were greeted by Erin and she was extremely friendly as well. We love our apartment and all of the amenities that the property has to offer. It’s in a great location with plenty of things for us to do and explore our new city. So far we couldn’t be happier!

Terrible leasing agents/front office. Lived here for 14 months and had heaps of issues. The pool is full of people getting absolutely trashed and passing around bottles every weekend, even saw dogs swimming around on a Saturday afternoon. Leasing agents are incredibly petty and not very professional. They made moving out as difficult as humanly possible. Somehow had to pay $300 in pro-rated utilities for the last two weeks of living there and somehow they managed to take my entire security deposit and charge me and extra $30 two months later. I also am 90% they stole my tri fold mirror I left in

UPDATE 12/23/2021 - I’ve left a VM a voicemail and have not received a return call. I did however receive an email on 12/8 confirming I would receive this refund. Just checked the mail and still NO check. Absolutely the worst! I moved out 11 months ago and am due a refund per their own acknowledgement however they believe they are above the law and can take longer than 60 days to refund security deposits. Corporate won’t transfer me to AP and they stated “the property manager must contact their regional manager in order to provide the proper telephone number to call”. I’ve called the

Very poor management. I Complained about 7-8 times about the loud tenants with huge subwoofers shaking my entire floor for 2-3 weeks now beneath me that just moved in. It seems like the management doesnt really care about all the residents have equal privacy to their own units. I wont lie though before they moved in, I had a nice quiet place to work for about 3 months till they moved in last month and I’ve let them personally know many times and the management know as well many times as well but the issue just seems to not be changing. As a matter of fact I think the music keeps going louder

I have been so happy here! Great amenities and an awesome location. It is a little pricey but that's Denver these days. Noble from the leasing office has been great to work with. I cannot say enough about this place-I have convinced some friends that this is their next apartment building as well!

This place used to be good when we moved in four years ago. Grey star has been an absolute nightmare. The amenities were never cared for and half would be closed for extended periods of time with no relief on the rent you pay which most certainly includes the amenities. We moved out over a year ago and they are just now hounding us for bogus utility charges from months when we didn't live in the building. Dishonest, and really awful exploitative company. Avoid at all costs.

Lived at OCB for 16 months and just moved out- overall, a really great living experience. The location cannot even slightly be beat- it is a phenomenal spot with everything at your fingertips! The leasing staff has always been extremely accommodating, prompt, and friendly (Noble is probably the best leasing agent an apartment could ever have). The apartments are on the smaller side, but really well-kept and maintenance is extremely punctual if there is ever an issue. Never experienced an unexpected fee, or an overly high utility bill. Amenities are top-notch, and the parking deal is the best of

It is 1036pm on Sunday night and I am locked out of my apartment. Not from me losing my keys, but the actual key fob is not working. I've been calling maintenance for over 30 minutes. No one is returning my calls. I am locked out of my apartment, with my dog inside. There are over 600 residents so I don't understand why there isn't any maintenance staff onsite.

In addition to my apartment door not working right now, and being locked out of my unit...the main doors to my actual building have not been working for months so we have had to use the entrances via the garage only. At

I have loved living at One City Block so much and now that I am about to move in less than a month I can say with certainty this is the best apartment complex I've ever lived in - and I have lived in a lot. The office staff is a 10/10. Literally. All incredible. My experience with apartments is that the staff is exceptionally nice before you move in and then once you move in, the service goes down hill because you've signed your lease already. Not here! Len, Erin, Noble - all amazing. They go out of their way to help you with anything you need. The location is great, the apartment comes

Tl;dr you can do a lot better in Denver.
Location
Maybe one of the biggest perks- if you work downtown it's nice that work is just a walk away. Just a note that comes a heavy homeless presence- I've had some uncomfortable interactions after dark around the building and have been followed into the building before.
Building
Definitely far from soundproof, heard every step my upstairs neighbor took. The amenities are fine, but I had been promised a few (mainly the rooftop grills) that finally opened 9 months after I signed my lease despite being highlighted as a great amenity I'd have access to

This is a wonderful apartment. The complex is clean, management is fair and understanding, all staff are friendly and welcoming, and the amenities, location, and price are unbeatable. You won't find a better value in Denver when looking for modern, luxury apartments. One leasing agent Nobel even remembers every residents name! I highly recommend this apartment.

Location is great and some of the staff are very kind, however this building has some of the worst soundproofing I’ve experienced in an apartment. They tell you they get very few noise complaints, but take it from this and the other reviews. You never really know about these things until you stay overnight, so look into a building with better construction quality. They also ignore your calls and emails so if you ever need anything you basically have to try and track them down in the office. If you’d rather not deal with rowdy neighbors and management that just wants your money, look elsewhere

Greystar is hands down the most dishonest, shady, exploitative company I have ever had to deal with, beating out Comcast, CenturyLink, Sprint, Ticketmaster, Stubhub, American Airlines, Cigna, and Equifax for that honor. They will smile at you and lie to your face. Document every interaction you have with them, get everything in writing, record your conversations with them, route all communication through email so you have a record of it. Follow up conversations that you failed to record with an email detailing exactly what was said and when. Create a paper trail. READ YOUR LEASE before signing

Nothing but the best to say about One City Block. Great location, accommodating property managers who genuinely care, very clean and safe, nice neighbors. The property managers even host fun get togethers very frequently. Highly recommend anyone to live here.

I just left One City Block and unfortunately they had already leased out the unit that I was interested in because it was such a killer deal. I wanted to take the time to express my appreciation for the amazing customer service that I received from the assistant manager, Patrick. We immediately eliminated that this apartment wasn't going to be an option but he took the time to go through all of his other properties PLUS all other properties that they didn't even manage that were in the area that I was looking at. That's how you show you really care about your job and aren't

One city Block has been great. Been here for over 6 months and I have 0 complaints. I went by reviews on here in picking One City Block. Every positive review is accurate. If there's a problem here it's because of the actual residents, not the staff nor management company. In reality, that's just people, you live in an apartment building, there's going to be people .

I lived in this community for over 3 years, of which nearly 6 months overlapped with the change in management from Red Peak to Greystar. I chose to move explicitly because of issue noticed by other residents in these reviews, namely little to no attention to upkeep of the facilities or concern for residents under a facade of politeness. This includes: broken elevators/fob access breakdowns took much longer to repair, outside doors being propped open, packages left in the foyer or hallway instead of being managed or kept by the leasing office, graffiti in the elevators. I even had a neighbor literally

Date: June 6, 2017 - It's very important that people who are considering moving into this building understand what has transpired over the last 4-6 Months. One of the best owners/property management companies RedPeak unfortunately sold OneCityBlock to Deutsche Asset Management of Germany, who in turn hired the one of the absolute worse property management companies Greystar (google them, they're so horrible it's almost sad). Since Greystar has taken over control of OCB, they have done nothing but live up to their awful reputation. After the first month, a rough transition turned into a downward

The new management (Greystar) is terrible. All they want is to get you in, and then kick you out when they offer you a well-above market price when you try to re-new.

I lived here for 4 years, and Red Peak's management was so much nicer, truly cared about it's residents and were willing to work with you.

For our renewal offer, Greystar was offering us $1868 for a 1b/1b 706sq ft. Increasing dog rent by $10 to $35/mon. So, we graciously declined (insert sarcasm). But NOW, they are offering our same apartment for $1672 to new residents. This shows they clearly don't care about their

The new management has been TERRIBLE. It took months to get the hot tub fixed and after 2+ months they still do not have their payment system working. They finally admitted it probably won't get fixed for the next couple months atleast. Communication is absolutely terrible. I am supposed to give 60 days notice to renew my lease. Since Greystar does not have it together and gave me my renewal offer late they are giving me a whole 7 days notice to decide if I want to renew my lease with an increase in rent. The ammenities are great here, but this management company is a nightmare. It's

This place is awesome. There's a reason why Red Peak has won so many awards for outstanding customer service and hospitality. However, a new company has taken over and are not nearly as kind or considerate. I've loved living here for the past 2 years and really hope this new management doesn't ruin this great atmosphere and community. So far we've had some not-so-kind experiences and its only been one week since they've taken over.

One City Block has been our home for a 2.5 years at this point, so without a doubt my husband and I LOVE LOVE LOVE living here!

First, massive props to OCB staff JACKIE and GEOFF who are constantly going out of the way to make sure our lovely community is always enjoyable. From the amenities to the resident events, we've found such an awesome place to call home that seriously has not been beat by any other location we've researched in the "downtown/uptown" Denver setting. The staff is great - always available, friendly, and accommodating. The leasing agents Jackie and Geoff consistently go above and beyond for the tenants if it's throwing a happy hour with one of the local bars in the neighborhood or running events in the common areas. While pricier, One City Block has great amenities and service: the gym has modern equipment, the courtyard/pool is lovely and busy in the summer, and the underground garage is great. The free wi-fi in the building works well! The staff has been pleasant and helpful -- Geoff even noticed that my electricity bill was too high.

The unit itself is quite snug: I haven't turned the heat on once yet this winter. My only complaint would be that I often hear the footsteps of the tenant above me, which is irksome but can't be helped/prevented, short of living on the top floor.

Moved here from Austin in April 2015. Lease signing was smooth, all online with docusign, move in was easy with the freight elevator and loading dock. My apartment was spotless moving in, sweet little welcome gift with vino, and good communication/followup from management. Ask for Jackie Olsen.

Neighbors have been pretty quiet, but friendly when we meet in the hallway or at the gym. My dog is very happy, easy to walk in the mornings/evenings. Close to groceries, bars, restaurants, coffee, dry cleaners, pharmacy, 7-11, etc. If I didn't have to drive to the burbs for work, I wouldn&apos
