No security gates! Will not allow a ring camera! Will tow your car if missing a key fob for a night. Even after purchasing a parking permit. Cars have been parked out front the property for weeks, I park one night and was immediately towed. I demand a refund, it’s embarrassing to have purchased a parking pass and to still be towed by your own apartment!! Very disappointed.

The Marquee has been upgraded and looks amazing. Gone are the drab uninviting depressing colors. The exterior and interior decor makes you feel at home and relaxed. There are plenty of amenities, too. The staff was amazing and literally walked us through the application process. They understood the assignment when it came to upgrading their property to attract college students.

The construction is a nightmare. I was 1st placed in an apartment that I wasn’t promised so I was already mad about that and then they lied telling me the construction is going to move on from where I am located so I don’t get woken up every day at 6 but again nothing. I have ample videos of incredibly loud construction that begins before 7 and you would think they would do something to try to accommodate the poor people having to Indore their construction, but no because ultimately they don’t care. Don’t expect anything from this place, it is unorganized and unbearable to live here now

The first level is absolutely disgusting. It never gets cleaned, management is not present in the care of the properties, assuming that they dont care since its student living. There are cockroaches and unknown liquids spilled on the floor with no one to look after the property. They are building another property next door, but who knows for how long it will be nice with the poor care for the previous location.

Nasty-not much else to say. Not safe for your children to stay, place is crawling with creeps. My daughters boyfriend was beaten half to death right outside of complex. Garage has 12 floors, makes me dizzy. Apartments are overall old and dingy. You don't have to be ucf affiliated to live here, which gives pervs the perfect opportunity to rent and stalk out young girls. Save your money and go elsewhere !

The Marquee is sad. Apart from the creepy hallways and dingy rooms, the parking is atrocious. When I parked on the 7th floor as a visitor, with no other cars around me, my car got towed. I was never informed that I had to park in a visitor spot. There are no signs that explain the parking situation for guests so I figured I should park where no else parked and on one of the highest floors. This didn't matter. As I went to leave the next morning my car was gone.
I had to take 3 hours out of my day to find my car and pay $125 to get my car back. The unclear visitor parking and the aggressiveness

The residence is usually quiet, parking is not an issue and staff are most helpful. With covid, this place is under capacity so extremely chill and a great haven for studying. Location to campus is perfect as I am no further than a mile from the center of campus so I bike to class. If that's not your style, the bus pulls right up to the leasing office ever 15~20 min to take you on the 10 min drive to campus. Kitchen amenities are great and are well used in my apartment since I love to cook. The pool is great for doing laps and the gym newly renovated. Most units come with a small balcony which

The COVIS-19 virus has closed down the University and area services and retail. But the Marquee Apartment management will not release evacuated students from their lease. How unfair and predatory. I contacted FL rep. Eskamani and FL Rep. Smith to urge Governor DeSantis for his executive order to release students from their lease payments, but hundreds of thousands of parents' situation were ignored.
Spring semester was a total waste for the parents of students trapped in Marquee leases. The common facilities were closed, no pool, no grounds, just an apartment if the students dared to

So far my experience at the marquee has been pretty nice, although I just moved in a month ago. The only thing I have to complain about would be how they "cleaned" the rooms. They did not. My roommate and I had to wipe down everything ourselves before using any of it. Overall, maintenance is pretty quick which I like, they also keep the pool clean and the staff is very sweet and helpful.

If I could give this place -100 review, I would. 1 star rating isn't low enough. Save yourself the headache, DO NOT RENT HERE! Unprofessionalism is an understatement! Both the property manager, Morgan Philips, and I signed a lease and they turn around and gave my apartment unit away to somebody else. AFTER I SIGNED THE LEASE! I have NEVER seen that happen in my life. After I gave them personal identifiable information such as my earning statements from my job, this was extremely frustrating and a huge inconvenience. Now I'm left with the dilemma of finding somewhere else to live

WOW ... no really WOW. I can't believe UCF would allow this management to continue. I've been around rental properties for years and this place is a dump. Move in day was set for Aug 17. The word was out. Signs everywhere "Welcome", "Park Here", " The Line forms here have your I.D. ready and rent check ready!".But that is where it stopped. We were all excited for our sons 1st apt. Surprise, the apt was NEVER cleaned or checked BEFORE the new tenant moved in. We were at The Marque 2 weeks before parent/student orientation. We were told that someone was still in the apt that was assigned to my son

I really liked living in the marquee. The leasing agents are really nice, management is super efficient. Every time I had an issue it would always get resolved almost immediately. The only bad thing about the marquee is the time they close the amenities. They have pool table, movie theater and coffee but it all closed when the leasing agents close.

After living here, I would not recommend it to anyone else. They show you the nice expo apartments when you visit so of course, you're sold.
I've lived in both phases of the Marquee.
My mother traveled states to come help me move in and we were granted with a dirty apartment. Food and grease stains in the living room, dirt tracked throughout the apartment, personal bathroom was disgusting, bedroom was dusty, and here's the best part -- I was in a cockroach infested apartment. Contrary to what they told us before moving in, my apartment did not have a proper walk through, nor

I feared for my life every night I stayed there. The common areas were dirty, and cluttered, and there were always really sketchy people hanging outside, a lot of times just passed out. There was trash and dog crap all over - they only clean the place when the new year is starting. There is not enough parking, so forget having guests. Even though I was parked legally, they towed my car and I had to pay $250 to get it out. Six months after I moved out, I got a letter from a collection agency. They tried to say I didn't clean the apartment out - I had, and they had to haul off trash for $300

wonders never cease. Right in the middle of midterms, this placed decided to move tenants around as the apartments are "renovated". Just remember this is NOT UCF place. This is a real-world apartment complex, that's poorly run. We had to stop our lives to accommodate the lease agreement, not the tenant. The newly renovated apt. wasn't cleaned after construction. Even the plastic wrappings weren't removed completely. The floor had dirt all over from the workers. And to boot, the balcony was inaccessible because they were still putting up the facade was still

Gross, poor quality, rip off. Things broke all the time. The management was really self serving, and do not care about the renters. One time somebody fired a shotgun into the air on the street while I was in bed. Car crashes happen outside surprisingly often from all the drunk driving.
They accused one of my roommates of stealing and charged him of the damages when he did not do it, and had no evidence.
Oh yeah, and a big drug dealer was busted here -- he lived in one of the apartments.

I am truly baffled as to how the heck this place keeps finding tenants. There is a violent crime here on a seemingly weekly basis. Last night someone was shot (the injuries are reported as non life threatening). Shootings, assaults, rapes, all part of the norm here. Apartments and vehicles are routinely burglarized and the grounds themselves are absolutely disgusting. Clearly there is no grounds keeping staff or if there is, they certainly aren't concerning themselves with the sheer amount of garbage that piles up on a daily basis. It's pretty much the insane running the asylum here

NOT because they are under new management & have been renamed they are still the same.
This place is horrible & unsafe. It's gilled with drug dealers & house parties. It's dirty & unsanitary. Theres never any parking.
My bed was broken for 4 days, i had to sleep in my car & at a friends house. The office did nothing. I personally had to circle the complex 3 times to find maintenance & bring them to my room.
The list of horrs go on & on. Do yourself a favor & find somewhere else.
Especially if you're a concerned parent.

I have lived here for 3 years, quite frankly only because it was close to my boyfriend, my brother and friends. But in that 3 years I have seen it go from a new clean property to a hell hole. (Excuse my language). There have been break-ins to cars and apartments weekly, urine in the hallways and a steady stream of police cars every day of the week.
I have had 2 roommates, the first one was great and we still talk. A few months ago, I came home from work very late to seeing boxes and suitcases in the living room. I called the leasing office to speak with someone about this new roommate that I
