I would not recommend this place to anyone. This place is not safe. The management is horrible. Management does not know how to communicate with people. They don't care if the rent is being paid on time every single time, the moment you say you are vacating, they start worrying about the money to be collected. They don't try to communicate with you though they have your phone number and e-mail id once you vacate. They hand over all your details to a debt collecting company without even explaining it to you how much you owe after you vacate. They send a final statement of balance after you have

Please choose anywhere but here! They cover up all the car jacking, burglaries and robbing. My daughters apartment was burglarized and torn apart within 24 hours of leaving town. Her door was pried open and can not shut. She was informed that they could not fix the door that night and security would be on site. Who wants to sleep in an open apartment that's been burglarized. And where was the security when all this happened. They told her that they em were working on a hospitality suite in another building but never got back to her. Security also informed CPD that they would not be staying

I have been in my current unit for 54 years and 8 years in another unit in the same building. I remain satisfied for the same reasons that attracted me to move here all this time; convenient location, generous layout of the building distances from each other, parking available, access to public transportation, moderate rent for spacious accommodations. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

There were many things that caused me to say I would 'never' lease again, nor would I recommend this place. The only reason I did not break the lease is because I did not want it on my credit. My experience here in this facility has been horrible. My very first day, I saw a person sneak in the building and I reported it. The first week there was confusion about my rent. I sent in every document asked of me and the Staff would email stating they never had it. This was so not true because there were 'mandatory' documents required, to the degree I could not get my keys without

I’ve been calling about a possible tour/questions I have about your Washington and Michigan building for over 2 months now. I’ve looked up your hours and call in the middle of the day, AND leave voicemail. I haven’t gotten one thing expect a bot response when I emailed about property on apartments.com. Which I immediately emailed back and got no response. I was very interested in your property, but if this is how the leasing office is, when there is potential money loss for them, I don’t know if it is worth it.

CONTRACT TOWING STOLE MY VEHICLE FROM THE PRIVATE LOT TODAY. PLEASE ASSIST. The only name I was able to get was Angela. She would not share her last name. I have her recorded on my phone. She laughed about the situation and disconnected the call. They outright have stolen my car, and are holding it for ransom for $218, plus $45 per day in addition. This is not right. I am a resident for five years. I have a valid parking permit, and updated registration and plates, which I have proof of and can share. They have no right to have taken my vehicle. Please assist.

Horrible customer service. If you’re looking to rent here, don’t they’re basically scamming people out of their money. I’ve been chasing someone for over a month, just to speak with anyone after paying processing fees. But nothing. At this point I’m no longer interested in staying. Seeing that I can’t get help now. Why move in to be ignored. You guys need new management team and not people there collecting checks. Disappointing

I am just speechless - At some level, I am very grateful to these people. I had a great training about staying mentally strong in very horrible circumstances - I am just looking forward getting out of this place alive very soon and resume my life :)
After staying here I feel confident that you will realize the great stoic truth Marcus Aurelius wrote about- The only thing in your control is your own mind. Rest is all governed by chaos.
In case I find a need to vent out my frustrations later, I will update this review and write review on Yelp and other places too once my lease gets over. But hopefully

As of 8/25/2020 I am 12 days from moving out of here to a much nicer building up north. Last night as I entered the building, the ceiling of the lobby was leaking, I just chalked it up to the building being on its 60th year and walked around the puddles of water forming and into my apartment. On the morning of this 12th day I wake up and turn on the faucet and no problem, water comes out. An hour later I go to use the water faucet again and no water comes out. Keep in mind the management of this old, decrepit building does its job in informing its residents BEFOREHAND of when the water will be

The management at lake Meadows DOES NOT CARE about their tenants.
They do not clean shared space including elevators (especially during covid19), common lobby areas, door handles, they don't take initiative to encourage CDC compliance with the amount of people on the elevators, they have security in each building that's suppose to monitor when people come in and out --they don't monitor and allow anybody to come and go as they please--very irregular about it, no notification of packages in an area where they require packages to be delivered for ALL buildings, no consistent communication

Two nights ago I came home around 11:30 because even though I waited for it to stop snowing, it was still coming down. I had just
pulled into a spot where someone had pulled
out since I could see their tracks in the snow.
It was next to a handicapped spot and since I have a disability placard, I was glad to be close
to the building. I was about to get out of my car when a Contract Towing truck pulled close to
me and said I could not park there because of some yellow lines. I backed up to see and could
barely see anything because of the snow. Never- theless, the truck driver kept saying if I stayed

I wish I could give this roach infested place zero stars. Recently moved in about three weeks ago and on the same day I saw HUGE roaches. Have been seeing them every single day ever since. I have contacted the building over 9 times and still nothing from them. Please please please don't move here. I saw the reviews about the pests and moved here anyway thinking I could fix the proand now I'm locked into a 15 month roach infested apartment. DON'T DO IT! The price is cheap for a reason!

Had a never ending cockroach problem in my apartment. After over a dozen treatments the problem was not solved. Finally got fed up and decided to give them a 14 day letter to either fix the problem or I'd terminate the lease. The 14 days came and went, I found another cockroach in the apartment, I showed this to management but the lady just conjectured that I could have taken this before the 14 days, because iPhone's don't capture all that metadata that tell you when and where a photo was taken. They didn't want to accept me legally exiting the lease, and came after me illegally

Honestly there's a lot that this company can do to make it better. But smoking in the building is a huge problem that they seem to not be able to solve. The laundry rooms have been in renovation for over a month now and then when they got back up they shut it back down for problems. If you live on the south facing side of the apartments prepare for heat overload all day until about 6pm. Packages are inconsistent and you don't know where they will end up. Either at your door, downstairs near the public door, or at the cleaners in the area.
I thought I loved this place. But it just seems

I've had three packages go missing since moving here. I'm just so pissed off at this point. The post office told me the packages are either getting stolen from my front door, or that the Cleaners are losing them. Cleaners always tell me they have no packages for me, even when I show them receipts saying packages were delivered and left in the mail room. My job relies on me getting things in the mail. This is too much for me. Moving as soon as possible.

Well, I can't say much about an experience in living there, since I don't. It was my application process that turned out to be a complete nightmare. I was lied to several times from beginning to end, the leasing agent gave my information regarding my application status to another person who did not work there, this same agent exhibited clear unwillingness to contact me at any point (at least, not until I made it clear to him that this place was not my only option and I was considering moving elsewhere), and took me through a truly insane run-around that I could write a short novel on

Just moved about a month ago.
The apartments do not come with airconditioners. My leasing agent lied and said that she can "get me one" and never did.
Also the recommended air conditioner is at least $400. Thats something they should definatelty inform new tenats about.
The buildings are older and need constistant care ie, cleaning, repainting, etc. Finally Management is slow on answering work orders.
Other than that the location is great, the parking is free and the grounds (outside landscape) is nice.
Will I be renewing my lease? Probably not. I like to live in a place where management
