Avana / greystar corporate are terrible when it comes to customer service. I decided to not renew my lease after the third flood that happened in my unit. Avana tried to say they didn't receive enough notice even though I told them months in advance. Then they tried to charge me double my rent as a parting gift. I told them I wasn't paying and they refused to do a final walk through to check the condition of the apartment and of course they then tell me months later I owe them more money due to "damages". What a joke. Don't move here nothing about is worth it. Look elsewhere

I’ve lived here over 3yrs and the leasing/maintenance has gotten progressively less helpful each time the property changes staff. Any time I call with an issue (and they actually answer the phone) the leasing agents act as though I’m bothering them. They often promise to call back and never do. I’ve been waiting on my fireplace to be repaired for nearly a year with ZERO follow up from the office. When contractors do show up there is no notice given. The level of service or care given to residents is laughable for the amount of rent paid to live here.

This is the worst property I have ever lived at. I heard negative reviews about the property management before I moved in and was told Greystar hired a new staff so I tried to give it a chance. The apartments are beautiful but the staff and management is TERRIBLE. I lived here for 15 months and had nothing but problems with them and even had to change apartments due to faulty pipes in my apartment, miscalculations on my rent and then trouble getting refunded when I was overcharged. When I moved out in May, 2021 I never received my deposit back even though I have received emails saying I am owed

After several work orders being placed. Maintenance has continued for the last 3 months to “treat” mold and mildew. I have also given notice about a leak that has now grown into a more intense situation due to negligence. My unit is not able to occupied due to health concerns for me and my unborn. My work space is now growing mold and mildew as well. Would you allow you , your child, or family to live in these conditions?

This neighborhood is nothing BUT TROUBLE. They first gave me a each apartment. Washer and dryer didn't work, dish disposal doesn't work, paint job wasn't complete, leaking under the sink. We asked to see the unit before moving in and Chris told us we couldn't see it but expected us to be okay with what we got. They then lost our 2000 cashiers check and expected us to go to Wells Fargo and get a verification code. I paid $1882 to move in on June 16, I checked my account and didn't see that my payment was updated so I went to the front office to see what the problem was

Scam scam and even more of a scam. To start, I went to look at the apartment and no one was in the leading office. I was the first appointment of the day and waited 20 minutes to just have someone throw a key and me and say "go for it". I liked the apartment but when I came back, the guy said "that's not the one you wanted, we only show the top tier option". Cool. I liked the community enough that when I was alerted to apply to a vacant apartment, I jumped on it. Biggest mistake. Have few more things to add beside the balcony rats , non-responsive office staffs.
1- Fire alarm went off twice (20 to 30 mins) within the past 6 months at 1am and 4.30am and we didn't see/hear siren from one police car or fire truck . And of-course no explanation being offered the next day to the current residents.
2 - The property used to require resident sticker for cars that park in the parking garage, but if you walk around the parking garage , you can see that 80% of the cars do not have the required stickers on the cars.
This apartment sell short as " Luxury Apartment"

On Friday July 31, I was at the community pool. At approximately 7PM gunshots were fired sending other pool-goers and myself into a state of panic and fear for our lives. Fortunately, no one was hurt however the mental damage that this has inflicted on me is both traumatizing and irreversible. Do not move here. They have to have the poorest communication skills of any property I have ever lived at here in Atlanta. The screen for delivery drivers to deliver packages has been broken for week. A delivery driver just told me they sat at the desk, laughed, and waved him away as he tried to ask for assistance. As a result, seven of my packages were not delivered. This is just one of their many indiscretions. Again, you would be better off spending your money else where and hopefully get better services. Do not move here. It's not worth it.

My boyfriend and I were excited to inquire about these apartments as they seemed to offer a lot of great options online at an affordable price point for the area. After stopping by today I can say we will not be renting from them. As the assistant property manager was extremely rude. We walked in and told her we were looking for an apartment and she said she was "too" busy to help us. There was no one in the office or even parked in the front area. I'm not sure what she was so busy with that she couldn't answer a few questions we had. I would have been more than happy to set

Highly wouldn't recommend this as your new home! So glad to no longer have a lease here!! The monthly price quoted isn't the final price also your monthly bill is never the same EVER!! Then once moved out inquire about deposit was informed bills are retro active what a joke! Also you have to pay $99 cable $25-$40 exterior lights $25 trash $75 water bill.. garage is nasty hallways also always nasty!! Place was always under construction gates hardly work have to pay for parking permits but everyone even without parking permits park in garage nothing is enforced!

The workers in the office are beyond unhelpful and just want to take your money .
The valet trash pick up , picks up trash as he pleases at whatever time he pleases .. that could be anywhere from 11pm -2am .. sometimes even bypassing your trash and leaving it out for the next night to pick up .
Tour base rent will sound cheap until you actually move in , then all of a sudden there's tons of

So I lived here for almost 2 years and Avana City North Apartments came a long way but still has a longer ways to go. When I first arrived in fall of 2017, they were switching management and that was a godsend because they retained some staff from the old management and ghetto fabulous wasn't even the word for them. Fast forward to about spring of 2018, Greystar brought in some allstars like Jonda and Rueben who got the office, communications and some things in the complex up to par. While the staff stays mostly consistent, there have been 3 managers in my time. Greystar/management painted

This is the worst apartment complex ever! It is not luxury at all ! The hallways have been 1/2 painted for over a year. Mold in the windows, maintenance fixed my noisy refrigerator and wasn't a success! Jonda the leasing officer is rude! The main issue I encounter was the rats! There were rats running around on my balcony & what did they do? They didn't call pest control; they put stray cats on the premises. I highly do not recommend this apartment complex! $1400/ month isn't worth it. Attached are pics of rodents on the balcony . I'll try to post the videos!

These people who work here are TRASH!! Three weeks ago I was searching for apartments. I got seriously ill the day I was applying and I was flown out of state to another hospital. I am and have been stranded and homeless in another state with no means of transportation because I left my drivers license at Avana City North with Jermey. So I send my cousin to go get my DL and they were not able to give it to her because of some "legal BS" which is fn dumb. Because who is randomly going to go to a specific location and ask for someone's random DL? WHO??! And my name is very rare!!?
