There is another car on the 5th floor who's had the rims stolen off of it. It is sitting on wooden blocks.
There is a rumor going around the building that the security staff is coordinating with the thieves to best steal items from the residents. I have lived here for two years and never missed rent. Once my lease is up, I am gone.

New and same issue . theft January 18 , 2022 they took all 4 of this S class rims SMH. I really think this is an inside job with some of the security. Bec this happens at least once a month. This is the 6th car that I know of on my floor that got their rims stolen since the pandemic. the car sitting on blocks. Cant wait to move after my lease is up. Management here sucks. Cigarettes smell, car break ins, bums in emergency stair case. Just make sure your strapped up living here. At your own risk !

3 months later and they have started to avoid me and ignore all my emails and calls. The leasing office manager Donna has sided with the smokers and even caught my neighbors smoking inside their apartment and told me she caught them and told me she gave them another chance. They are still smoking and now she ignores all my emails and calls. DO NOT LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DIE OF SECOND HAND SMOKE BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME AND MY ROOMMATE. He is diagnosed with asthma and we just inhaled smoke every single day but Donna refuses to help us. Just great people in this world.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It came to my attention where I firmly THINK that the entire security team in this apartment complex are holding hands with a couple burglars in the area. Car was broken into and stole items well over $5000. I gave security the entire dashcam footage of the burglar's vehicle and full physical appearance.
Security said they looked for the footage and they found absolutely nothing. THEY HAVE CAMERAS RIGHT ABOVE THE ENTRANCE AND EXIT OF THE PARKING STRUCTURE. There is absolutely no reason for them to not have the footage of the car leaving/entering the garage.

Management is terrible here. They won't do anything to help you. We rented an apartment here because they advertised it as non-smoking. We sent in complaints about our neighbor smoking indoors and the smell lingers into our apartment. They don't do anything about it. Word of advice, find a rental property that will actually help you if you're paying that much for the HOA fees. Don't live here unless you like cancer.

I love living here. The building is maintained well, the apartments have amazing views, management is always looking for ways to bring the community together (bbq's, coffee grabs, whiskey tasting, etc.), and the gym, pool and dog run are awesome.
There are a lot of young people here so the smell of weed of pretty pervasive but that's to be expected in CA.
If you like Korean BBQ and spas, there are several close by. Right in the building there's hot yoga and a fantastic sushi restaurant.
Honestly, I love living here. Tyler, Sunny and the whole crew are great.

Had a phone conversation with the manager Sunny Lee who doesn't care about the residents safety at all and acted totally cold-blooded.
Me: so we are paying the rent only to find out our safety might be threatened by the homeless in the parking lot?
Manager: we are trying to make all residents feel comfortable.
Me: but I'm not feeling comfortable thinking I might get attacked or stabbed by a homeless in the parking lot.
Manager: it's what the area is like.
Me: but the management can't even guarantee basic security in the parking

AMAZING PLACE TO LIVE.
Just finished moving in to my new home. The view is fantastic! Plus the location is great. It just takes few minutes to get to most of the stores nearby walking distance and conveniently there is a Starbucks right below. The amenities are well established and the security is tight since they have many security guards 24/7. I really enjoy my move and the process was easy and fast due to the help of Tyler from the leasing office. He is very kind, responsive, and takes full responsibility of any requests. Thank you Tyler! Also Sunny was very kind. She helped me with the parking

When moving from the Bay Area, The Vermont was the first apartment I toured in Los Angeles, and after touring myriad other apartments nothing could compare.
The floor to ceiling windows with sweeping views of the city are incredible and the infinity pool with views of DTLA are breathtaking.
I’m impressed with the buildings security, I feel very safe living here. It’s a huge plus to have a dedicated dog run area for resident use within the complex, too.

I went there on Saturday to pay them in advance, and told them to leave to key in the front desk, Bc I need to check in in the Monday midnight due to flight schedule. When we arrived in Monday midnight, Front desk said there's no key in there and no one told them to keep the key. I showed them the photo of the payment and even the video of the payment, they still didn't allow me to check in. We had to spent $300 to find a hotel in the midnight.

I stayed in an airbnb here, and while the location is convenient, the apartment unit was not well maintained. There was damaged carpeting that exposed sharp objects and some of the kitchen appliances like the microwave handle were so worn, that I cut my finger on them. A lot of the kitchen appliances were dirty upon arrival, and several outlets weren't working. In addition, the internet was extremely unreliable. Even the tv which was connected via ethernet directly to the router could not keep a reliable connection.

First of all I need to thank Sunny and Tyler for being so professional and friendly, they did there best to make me feel home. I moved in Mid of Jun and the place is breathtaking, the view, location, amenities and service is 10/10z We all wish to find the place that we really feel home, and this place made it real. I really love to live this apartment and recommended to all my friends. First of all, the apartment is really clean and neat. Second, all staffs are very kind - I had some issue had one security long time ago but seemed like he got fired. Third, the pool and the gym are best of the best from all apartments in K-Town.

Great Place Amazing views like none other in Los Ángeles. Leasing office is always eager to help and the maintenance staff will finish any request you may have within 24 hours ! I have not lost a package yet the guards are really nice and my experience so far has been amazing! I would recommend you to look into our building if you need a new home ! Talk to Madison or Tyler or Jessie, super patient they answered my 50 questions before move in! Sunny was really kind as well.

First, Sunny and Donna from the leasing office are super nice and super responsive which I really appreciate.
I feel bad for leaving this review just because they are so nice.
But, I will probably not live here again. Most of the security seem like they're really lazy and don't even want to be there. Also it smells like smoke and weed ALL THE TIME. I also feel unsafe using the elevators when it gets dark outside bc there's too many ghetto/sketch people walking around who always stare and say weird things to me.
Also, the first unit I lived in - I completely loved! It was beautiful

The security guard who was there this afternoon around 1:00 pm was rude, lazy, and unprofessional. After telling him the apartment I was visiting, he directed me to a specific elevator and told me to punch in the floor. I did that repeatedly and no elevator came.
I went back to the lobby and asked the guard if there was a badge or something that he needed to use in order to have the elevator summoned. He got up, walked over and waved his badge across the panel to allow me entrance to the elevator which he could have done from the beginning. He made very unprofessional remarks when I asked why

I am actually very content living here at the Vermont.
I love the view, the floor to ceiling windows, and spacious kitchen. However... there's one thing I will not tolerate. The smell of smoking/weed.

I've contacted leasing office numerous times but nothing has been resolved. I've given up contacting the office at this point. I hear back days later and usually with the same response: try their best to "track" them down.
It's clear what unit it's coming from and it seems like they are still trying to "track"

MY CAR WAS STOLEN AT THIS PLACE on 9/22/20. I had a designated parking lot and am VERY frustrated. I cannot believe this is happening at one of the most expensive apartment in Ktown. I requested for video footage to find out who did it, they won't provide it to me because I am not with the authority and some confidentiality. please contact me if you had a similar situation at the Vermont. or if you need detail of car theft. So so so very happy that i made the move here at " The Vermont " apartments, my experience has been nothing but amazing. Sunny at the leasing office moved me into my new beautiful apartment, she was so helpful and patient with me throughout the whole entire process. Literally every request i made was accommodated. The apartment view is so amazing, every apartment comes with windows from floor to ceiling and that sold it for me lol. Oh also the washer and dryer in the unit. Oh and the 24 hour huge gym, listen i can go on and on, but bottom line is i love it.

A dream come true, every part of the transition. I don't have the greatest credit or experience with leaseing offices. But the staff at the vermont are Great and Amazing! they made my dream come true. I've got the dream place i wake up to an amazing view but without the friendly staff of them caring to make it happen. Ms. Ariel, Ms. Sunny, Ms. Rea, and Mr. Jessie I might have the smallest silliest questions or requests but they never make me feel I am bothering them. from all the amenities, the gym the pool to notch luxury but if not for the staff I would over look the quality.
