I have lived here for 3 years and it continuously gets worse. In my first unit I had constant issues ranging from all of the sinks in the apartment leaking from under them resulting in separate work orders as the maintenance team does mot thoroughly check issues. Most recently the “hardwood” floors just started peeling up. I submitted a work order 3 weeks ago that they simply ignored. I have had to have people come out multiple times for a/c problems and water heater problems.
I added a garage for additional fees to avoid being towed from my own parking lot. However having a garage disallows

Acadia at cornerstar has begun righting their wrongs where parking is concerned. They added new spaces and disposed of ParkM's electric parking passes that lead to loads of predatory towing.
I am still out of pocket $300+ dollars due to being towed despite following the community parking policy and having a current parking pass. I've provided management and staff with a generous amount of proof that they wrongly authorized my vehicle to be towed, but they didn't care about facts or proof. They also did this against the lease agreement which states they will give notice 24 hours before towing vehicles

Where do I begin? I wish that i had never lived at this complex. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. When i first moved in it was convenient for me because there weren't many fees and a very small deposit. Well, i know better now.

First off the place is DIRTY. Every day there is trash found everywhere. Mattresses laying in the breezeways. Toilets just laying out in the parking lots. Grocery carts spread out along the complex from target. Most of the tenants are lazy. One of my neighbors had a rotten pumpkin laying outside his door for 3 months. Anytime you step out of your apartment your engulfed

Very disappointed with the overall experience. When we moved in 3 years ago the leasing agent Barb was professional and very helpful. However, after the duration of our time here we have faced multiple issues. My rent (check) was lost by staff not once but three times. The first time I managed to gather enough of a paper trail to prove I gave them the rent. The 2nd time I gave them a rent check, I asked for the leasing staff to provide me with a signed/dated photo copy of the check, and they lost that check too, however I provided them with the signed copy. The third time this happened I just provided

We moved in about 3 months ago and have had a positive experience up to now. Both ladies in the leasing office have always been very responsive and quickly respond to my emails. Apartment was nice and tidy when we moved in, the kitchen was my absolute favorite part when we toured. I haven’t had any issues with the parking, I have a garage but see parking for residents pretty often even on the weekends. It was one of my concerns when reading reviews but I personally haven’t had a problem with my guests finding parking in the visitor parking. Haven’t been towed either and I like the new parking

This complex is something else, yelling at us because we are trying to figure out why my car got towed. Telling us we need to take accountability. I took a picture of my car the night before, just in case. I never received an email about not being able to park there. They told me they sent them out in February and we didn’t move in until April. Also it was never noted or told to us that we could not park in the space of where I was at. The fire sign was for the vertical side but now all of a sudden it’s for the whole front side horizontally, when my boyfriends car got towed it was along the

Recently one of my family member passed away due to COVID and due to which I had to quit my job and travel back to my country. I sent an email for lease breakage and initially I was asked to pay for the days i stay in apartment and ONE month rent. Which i agreed though i quit my job and manage to pay the lease breakage amount.
Later I was asked to send an email for 60 DAYS notice period and PAY (2 month rent) and followed by lease breakage payment.. which means it's 3 MONTHS RENT... when I am not having JOB... "literally" leasing office said "YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE

Turn and run as fast as you can. Absolutely the worst apartment complex I have ever rented from. Multiple things in our apartment weren't working when we moved in. All of the cabinets are scratched and damaged, doors have holes in them. We had to call the cops on our neighbors multiple times in the first few days of being here. You would think property management would care but they definitely do not they got there money from us. If you are looking for an apartment literally look anywhere else

Welcome to Acadia great place to have your personal belongings stolen from your garage and home itself. Not by your typical crooks no these ones actually work here and get paid a wage to come in your home for monthly inspections so that they can rummage through your things decided what they want to keep. Over the last few year here I've lost 3,000 dollars in stolen contents. DO NOT move here and if you already live here RUN while you can. Leasing staff and maintenance workers are terrible and you will be robbed of your time, peace of mind, and things you love and cherish. YOU'VE BEEN

Shout out to Jaime from daisy's landscaping who works on property plowing mounts of snow on snow days so that residents are able to come and go.
He let us borrow his shovel and plowed our garage/parking spot so that we could move our car to avoid giant clumps of snow from falling onto our vehicle from the roof. The staff and grounds keepers along with everyone who work on property to maintain this complex are pretty amazing! THANK YOU!!!

Leases state that you can park your car on the property but neglect to create enough parking spaces for all of the apartments. (Each Apartment building has about 15 spaces around it, and each building has about 25 apartments). The amount of rent they ask is not comparable to the unit you receive, Plugs do not allow appliances to be plugged in to them. Their response to these issues were "Thats just how the apartments are built" Police activity and theft are very high at this complex as well. I would not recommend a small family rent here. Amenities are also always in disrepair. The hot tub has

If I could give zero stars, I would! The staff are the most unorganized, unprofessional, and incompetent people I have ever had to deal with. We moved in, and they THREW AWAY our cashiers check for the deposit. We have paid rent on the dot, every single month and we come home to a letter saying we did not pay rent, even though we paid.
All the parking is taken up by 6:00 every single night, including the guest lot. We have had to park in the 24 hour fitness lot overnight because of lack of parking spots. They do not enforce towing whatsoever, there are numerous abandoned cars taking up spots that

These are the worst apartment I have lived at hands down. The parking here is awful, and they are very picky with vehicle rules. I had just bought a new car and had not registered it with the apartment. Within four hours, the towing company had already arrived to take my new car away. I understand it wasn't registered yet but 4 hours? In my year at Acadia, I can say that the staff here are the most impersonal, unkind people I have had the misfortune of having to interact with. If you're in the market for an apartment, help save yourself some trouble by not wasting your time with Acadia

I wish there was an option to rate maintenance separately, as they were phenomenal & so was the ONE leasing agent, Kee.

Otherwise, I am completely displeased with my tenancy at this property.

Katie, is by far the worst property manager I have ever encountered. She NEVER returns calls or emails, NEVER addresses issues that are brought up, and has ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY for the job, she has been placed in.

Facility repairs are emailed out promising to be completed in one week, one week rolls into two, then 4, & then 6 weeks go by without evening access to the gym, or ANY access to the

I have only recently started coming to this complex because my girlfriend has an apartment here. She told me to park at the leasing center as to not get my car towed. I have been parking at the leasing office but that's only when I can find a spot there. The parking is atrocious and with how many reviews I've seen about it and nothing done it seems to me like another complex trying to make money by towing cars, which is exactly what happened to me one night. My girlfriend and I came back from a concert and I parked at the only spot left which just happened to be a spot with a fire hydrant

The best part about the complex are the individuals running it. They truly go out of their way to help you. I'd like to recognize the maintenance team who has always been there when i needed them. The after hours line (which is the main leasing line) contacted the on duty maintenance person when my fuse popped on thanksgiving, within in mere minutes i got a call back and i was up in running in no time. Of course other situations i find myself in.
The maintenance guys (shout out to Clayton) are all always smiling and polite, and i can't leave out the leasing staff who are knowledgeable

Lie about denying you then keep your $100 deposit. I will not ever live at a Sentinel property after this experience. I have never been denied a apartment or asked to get a co-signer. But here your life is based off your last 2 pay checks not how much you have made that year. So if your on commission like I was and leaving the shop your working at obviously your taking in less work and making less as your time to move is coming up. Funny that another apartment that costs the same money approved me in 3 hours based off my year to date pay and my offer letter at my new shop yet this place only cares

The absolute worst part of this place is the parking situation. There is not enough parking which was done on purpose so you will buy the added expense of a teeny garage and space most cars can't even fit in nor are you allowed to store stuff in. Most residents need to park a half a block to a street away at the 24 hour fitness. If you can find a spot after 530 pm, other residents will literally try to run you over to get it and the spaces between the parking and garages are so tight that our cars have been hit and run twice while living here.
The amenities - the pool seems to be always closed

I have enjoyed living here but am moving out. The leasing office has been very difficult to deal with the past few months (unhelpful and rude). We have had a number of garage break-ins and theft in the complex (due to ineffective locks on doors), and their response has been that it's not their problem. I love my individual apartment but not the complex as a whole. It was fantastic when I first moved in (leasing office included. Deb was great!) and I'm sad to see it go so downhill so fast.

An update: I am still at Acadia and enjoying it. I re-leased and was not hesitant to do so, especially since they did not raise my rent. Also, they gave me free carpet cleaning when I re-leased, which is standard for anyone who re-leases at Acadia.

Most of my initial complaints have been resolved: cell phones work fine, got the A/C figured out, smoke alarms have not gone off. The staff is still helpful and friendly, and I've accidentally referred to my apartment as "home" a few times.

I've lived comfortably, affordably, and safely here.

Overall, I Approve and Recommend Acadia

I read all the bad reviews before I moved into this place, but decided to give them a chance anyway because the apartments ARE nice.

However, DO NOT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS!!! at the risk of sounding redundant along with everyone else, the parking here is WORSE than it sounds. Doesn't sound like a huge issue in the big scheme of things, but it is atrocious. I paid $100 a month for a garage because there is NEVER and I mean NEVER ANY parking available. So anyways, here I am paying a hundred a month for a garage, while there are people every single night parking in fire lanes, in the middle

Im getting more and more sick of this place..but I will put in my two cents:

Pros:
-Great location
-very nice amenities
-clean and high end residents
-safe
-good schools
-nice apartments and finishes (unlike the pure WHITE apts you normally see)
-maintenance calls get done right away
-very quiet and comfortable

Cons:
-Parking, parking, parking
-another company bought out broadstone and replaced the entire staff- these new -people dont know anything about the place or what they're doing.
-Unorganized...upon move in- they gave me wrong garage opener and mail key- I dont get off work until
