It was okay. I would likely use someone else if I were to do it over again. The inside staff was very helpful and responsive with scheduling which was great, and report provided had lots of pictures, but inspection day itself was lacking to me. The inspector did not seem to want to explain much of what was found, and we just sort of stood outside while he read out a list of what he found. It would have been nice to be able to walk around and walk through the house talking about each issue, or at least to have been able to walk through the report and pictures with him in person.

Great service, extremely comprehensive inspection and Michael was the consumate professional. Would absolutely recommend to anyone buying a home or, like we did, bought a home and want to make sure waiving inspections for the initial purchase wasn't a huge mistake. 10/10 would have an inspection by Nest Egg again!

As a Realtor I have a lot of experience with inspectors. Dale was one of the best! I try to always go to my clients inspections because you learn so much, it truly makes you a better agent. This home was pre-drywall new construction, I highly recommend getting this inspection if you're looking to buy new construction! I was concerned this home had some potential foundation issues and I was right. SO important to get inspections, even on new construction! Dale answered all my questions and took the time to explain everything, thank you so much!!!

The Nest Egg inspector, Dale, was able to do our inspection very soon after being contacted. He arrived on time and did a very thorough job. We had our full report on the same day with incredible detail and photos. Nest Egg also took responsibility for scheduling the pest and septic inspections which occurred at the same time as the general house inspection. I have purchased many homes and always have inspections done. This was the best experience so far. Thanks.

Unfortunately we did not have the best experience with Nest Egg. They inspected our home during the sale process and caught a good deal of issues, like loose outlets, missing shower caulking, and unsteady decking, but the really big ticket things they missed, like roof issues and water drainage issues. Now faced with about $30k in repair costs, it's difficult to recommend them. They were kind enough to send another inspector out to house to review our concerns, but the damage had been done by the point; the sale was closed and we were left holding a very expensive bag.

Used nest egg for my home inspection. They came out and were extremely thorough with their review and findings. Not only did they give detailed picture and descriptions of what they found they also provided details on why it should be fixed and gave recommendations on how to find the most qualified professionals.
The were polite, informative and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them for any home inspection someone would need.

Building a home during a pandemic has been nothing short of a nightmare. Between the inventory shortages and no shows with contractors, I had given up on any company's ability to function. I had chosen an independent inspector for a pre-drywall inspection and he forgot to call me to meet him at the home to review his findings. I didn't even know this was possible. I felt the need to find a new inspector for the pre-closing inspection. I was pleasantly surprised and delighted by Nest Egg's customer service and willingness to assist.
