At Roscoe Property Management, we feel your pets are members of our extended family, so we strive to make them feel right at home. Mountainside welcomes cats and dogs, with no breed restrictions! For each pet, with a maximum of two - there is a non-refundable pet fee of $350 and pet rent of $35 per month.

Update*** I did return managements call at my convenience per the voicemail request, on Friday hours before closing, they are open on the weekends and now it's Monday after closing and have not heard back again. Stay away!
First, parking is terrible. If you work the same hours as the office don't bother coming here, tonight I had to park Far from my apartment which isn't surprising and checked my mail, well a truck was parked in the red zone by my apartment and the mailboxes are broken, so 8 minutes after close I walk by the front office to see if someone is there just to report

Management is terrible. Claire and Amanda have very little people- and customer service skills. Claire seems to be in endless meetings and never has returned a call or an email when she says she would follow up. Maintenance requests are not completed in a timely manner and anyone who answers the phone, in the unlikelihood that someone answers, seems irritated, especially when you ask something of them. But they are very quick to raise rent though, very efficient about that. It would take a miracle for me to renew my lease again.

Have been living here for over 2 years, I have had the best experience and mostly because of maintenance has been more than helpful at all times. Anything! From inside bug spray needs (we are next to the mountain) or any simple task necessary! Eddie from maintenance has made our experience even more pleasant; great personality, huge love to help others and just fun and easy! Just signed another year contract 👏🏼 Definitely a place worth calling home! 💖

Mountainside Apartments has one of the worst management teams involving Claire(on sight manager) and the two front desk employees , I don't care what there names are , but those two people are always so rude and never seem to connect with there manager on what's going on throughout the complex. In addition , maintenance is very slow and will never repair anything on time , I understand things can get repair in a time order fashion but if you are going to do your job , please make sure it's done correctly! To say this complex is loud is an understatement. The pool always smells of algae, A/C never works in the 'GYM'. I have a parking spot but I typically have to park at Frys across the street. As for the office staff? Goodluck reaching them. Living in a winnebago in a Walmart parking lot would be better

Update since I've been living in the complex for almost a year. Maintenance is horrible and almost never shows up or bangs on your door early in the AM without notice, cockroaches in the unit, people fighting outside at all hours and don't even bother with the office staff. I'd definitely stay away from this place if you're looking for a new Apartment.

I have lived at this complex for 13 years. I'm an elderly disabled woman.. And for some reason I am being asked to leave at the end of my lease in June. I have written several emails I have made several phone calls to find out why. The only response that I got was that it is their right.
So it is their right to kick out a old disabled woman from her home that she has known for 13 years. I am current on my rent. I follow all the complex rules.
Seems inconceivable to me that this could be happening

“Management” changes every 3-6 month. Half painted units. Community Amenities and areas not maintained. SAVE YOUR MONEY MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

The location and some of the amenities are the only things luxurious about these apartments.
Really really look into reviews before moving here!
Due to lack of communication and knowledge from leasing staff I got the wrong apartment, on top of that the floors had holes in it and paint was literally FALLING from our cabinets move in day. ( still not fixed)
Our rent was supposed to be one price and somehow changed to $300 more on move in day! (1100 was actual price now we pay almost (1700)
Something breaks every week and maintenance takes their sweet time even when you tip them! ( about a week

Love the amenities and the management! They are always there when we need help and im very satisfied being a resident in this appartment! They respons right away!
Overall is great but there's one thing that they should consider this is a drug free place but, you'll see tenants are selling weed and will stay up late at the pool area and when they are done they won't turn off the lights.and there are some people thats not on the apartment list as an occupants (per office) like the name brandy who is in my apartment and refuse to leave coz she states that she live in same complex

When I first saw these apartments they looked really great, nice floor plans and the property looks well maintained however our experience turned for the worst when we applied. Ultimately we decided to go to another complex and we’re charged double our application fees and I’ve been fighting with them ever since to resolve the issue. They have been non responsive and unprofessional throughout. Be aware of what your signing up for. This happened last month by the way and are still going through this and it’s putting so much stress on me. I’m happy that we are not living here, this already

I am only giving this place a 1 star because of the maintenance team! They are always friendly and welcoming! The office staff has been a complete let down since arriving here! From having our car towed by office management after lack of communication to them never ever returning a simple email. There is trash and empty alcohol containers on the property, along with abanded vehicles that are graffitied up with foul language! Parking is a huge issue here but apparently it’s a free for all so if anyone is looking for a place to store your vehicle this is the place :) The heated pool is very cold

Positives: My apt. is overall nice inside. There is nice landscaping around the complex, especially near the office. There is access to hiking trails right behind the complex.
Negatives: The "amenities" are poor. The fitness center was dirty & dusty, which was reported to the office, so I eventually stopped using it & got a gym membership, which cuts into my budget. The covered parking spot is an extra $15/month. The monthly utilities are much more than what I thought they would be. I took my time to write this review as I wanted to be objective and realistic. After a couple of months living at these apartments I cannot stretch enough how awesome, helpful and willing to work with you is the new management. I did see the trash issue that it has absolutely nothing to do with the people that works here; the issue are the tenants and I saw the same problem at every single apartment complex I visited before Picking these ones. This by far is the worst apartment living experience I've had in my life! Since the day I moved in there has been nothing but problems. To get anything fixed around here is near to impossible. I had request a drawer be fixed in my bathroom since I've moved in 9 months ago it has never been fixed. I've had about 6 work orders for this issue. In the winter my heat went out it wasn't fixed until spring, my a/c doesn't work right it's set on 78 but it's 85 degrees in my home. I don't like posting negative review as much as possible . But this property management is awful.
I signed for an application because I like the place and was told that I will have a carport and I could rent a garage. When I read my lease agreement, they couldn't provide me a dedicated detached carport and there is no available garage.
This wasn't disclosed to me during the tour and application. They didn't tell me a tenant has to wait for a carport and /or garage to be available in order for them to have a space to park their car.

OK I will. I now have 4 maintenance requests open for 16 days. I put in a written complaint and nothing so I called and I got a return message with an apology many days ago and still nothing so then I went into the office after work yesterday and was assured it would get fixed either yesterday or first thing this morning guess who came home today with no repairs done to his apartment. My $500 a month apartment had 10 times better service. Do not move here! #Mountainsideapartments

I have lived at Mountainside for over 2 years. The location is perfect. Close to excellent schools, beautiful parks , and mountain views. I use to pool every weekend and they are very clean and well maintained. I have not had any issues in my apartment home but the few small work orders I have had maintenance was quick to respond and complete the work efficiently. The office staff is always friendly and helpful.This is the best apartment community I have lived in.
