Enjoyed 2 classes here but was scratching my head at the fact that they didn’t need to see my vaccine card. It didn’t sit right and when I looked into it further I learned that they have blatantly been going against city and state Covid protocol for the duration of the pandemic. Don’t feel comfortable being indoors at this studio anymore as I’d imagine it would have to attract anti-vax clientele and staff. Wish they would just check folks vaccine cards and call it good.

Shefayoga flagrantly refuses to abide by King County's mandate that all indoor fitness studios require proof of COVID vaccine or a negative test.
How did I arrive by this knowledge? I went in for a class – my first indoor yoga class since pre-COVID – and tried to show them my vax card. The person at the front desk said, "That's sweet but..." and trailed off before I even had the chance to take the card out of my wallet. When I looked online and spoke with the owner of another studio, I discovered it's just something of an open secret that Shefayoga and its sister studio, Haute Yoga in Queen

What a lovely studio. The vibe is very cozy in the waiting room and in the practice room. Wonderful teachers who really care about yoga and their students. Great mix of people from beginner to advanced. Overall, I leave my practice feeling relaxed, stretched, and happy.

Shefayoga has the right energy and I have really enjoyed practicing yoga here. The instructors are energetic and inviting, creating space for those to come and feel welcome. The staging room and studio area are intimate to allow for conversation and connection with other yogis. I was asked my name upon arrival and feel uplifted after practice.

The room is beautiful, clean, and spacious. I was able to distance adequately in class. My first teacher here was amazing. I expected nothing less after my 18 months at Haute Yoga. Just started practicing again after (very sadly) 2 years off, and I am definitely looking forward to more learning/adventures here.

I started shefayoga back in 2020 through a Groupon and LOVED the classes. I especially like that i have to sign up for class slots because as a horrible procrastinator I often tell myself I'm tired today and will workout tomorrow. But once i sign up for a class i now have to go and then am always glad I did. I also love they are still doing online yoga while COVID is still being managed. The studio itself is always clean and plenty of lockers to store my purse, etc.
There are also plenty of instructors, so if you find you like a particular one you can sign up for their classes exclusively. And

Leah & her whole team are amazing at what they do. I've had instructors welcome me back to their class after a five month absence when I would have never expected them to recognize me. I received prompt and very kind help when there was an issue with a holiday promo I purchased (it was my fault but they were sooooo accommodating) and I have always loved my experience going to this studio. Each teacher is wonderful and has their own style but are supportive, kind and encouraging.

Shefayoga is the most amazing yoga studio I've ever been to. I've been going to classes here for years and the practice never gets old or stale. I view it as critical exercise for my mental health, as the teachers here all have such insightful, thoughtful, and therapeutic things to say. The yoga itself is individual, as they let you do what's right for you each day--no pressure to conform. Great teachers to start with are Mallory, Karina, and Leah, but honestly I've never had a bad class here.

I absolutely love this yoga studio and its sister studio in Queen Anne, They are beautiful spaces to practice in and have amazing teachers!
However, yesterday I was very disappointed when I showed up for the rooftop yoga and was told the class was full. I had been looking forward to the rooftop yoga and had made sure to sign up for the class the day before, I pre-registered online and thought I was good to go. I live not far from the studio and gave myself plenty of time to get there. Traffic was a mess, as usual in Seattle, and parking was a nightmare, but I still managed to get there several

There are many aspects to consider when choosing a studio. There's the price/ booking options, which classes are offered and when, and the philosophy/vibe of the studio. Shefayoga strikes a wonderful balance between all of these aspects!
Their online booking is extremely convenient, and I was originally drawn in by their anniversary promo in April. There are quite a few options for membership, which are consistent with or less expensive than other studios in the area. They offer Yin (though only once a week), Hatha, and frequent Power Vinyasa classes. Not every studio offers Yin, so I was

I have only been to Shefayoga twice but I really enjoyed it. I am new to Yoga (unless you count group fitness type yoga at a health club) so I don't have much to compare it to. My physical therapist recommended I add it to my routine. The teachers were inspiring (Leah and Alexis), the space was clean and welcoming and the class was fun and challenging. I really liked how I felt afterwards. I look forward to going again and improving.

Came here with a Group-on and was surprised to find a nice heated mostly vinyasa flow studio. Each teacher has their own style and each class is very unique. They have lockers to place your belongings in, changing rooms, and two bathrooms. Giving them 4 stars because there are no showers here and I so badly wish they had them! Its almost impossible to go here before work because of there are no showers. So, I often come after work if I have time. They do offer free hot tea and have a drinking fountain to fill your water bottles with. The studio itself isn't big and the room fills up fast so

Shefayoga is an intimate hot yoga studio in the U District. All of the instructors are wonderful and I always leave feeling so grateful that I took an hour out of my day for class. They do not have their own parking and it would be nice to have more morning classes, but the classes they do have are great!

Fantastic hot yoga studio! When I moved to Seattle, I signed up for the 3 month Groupon and it was the best value ever! I happened upon a yoga studio that embodies all that is meaningful for me in my yoga practice - mind and body connection in equal measures within a supportive, kind community. The instructors are all top notch with each having their own unique teaching style to keep it mixed up and the studio itself is phenomenal. The early morning classes in the fall are incredible - you start in the dark and the room illuminates with the rising sun.

LOVE Leah, the owner, and Leah, the Yin Yoga instructor - they are my two favorites. This is a great studio that is so personal, the instructors actually take the time to get to know your name and your yoga practice. I've practiced at Shefa for three years, and have really grown in my yoga practice during that time.
Love that they were so accommodating during my pregnancy as well. It kept me sane and healthy during pregnancy, and I am convinced I had an easy peasy delivery and recovery because of it. Was wonderful coming back to do yoga after my delivery as well.
Thank you, Leahs !

I really love yoga and when there are motivating teachers it is even more amazing.
I purchased the groupon and I have grown to love the studio and the instructors.
They have a water bottle filler, 2 bathrooms and 3 changing rooms.
Parking isn't too bad for AM classes, but for late night classes it's a bit tougher to find.
Wishing there were showers and more faster paced classes, but still love this clean studio :) 4.5/5 stars!
