My apartment is big and spacious with modern equipment. Its close to the Wilshire Normandie Purple line and not to far from Wilshire and Vermont. I love the Area because I feel Safe and its close to tons of stores and even a 711 directly across the street. I've been here 8 months now, and I really love how close it is to my job downtown, with easy access to surrounding citie.

Now there's a new manager, Cid, who did not even introduced himself to the community. And I'm not a fan! Previous managers were fine - Rosemary, Maria, last was Maira. On the ball, prompt with their responses. Cid will tell you this and that but won't fulfill it. You have to go after him for a response. Try leaving a voicemail, wait for an eternity for a call back, if you're lucky. Communication breakdown!!! And he claims he has years of property management experience. And he doesn't care. It shows in his face - glacial! There are lots of work going on. Does he put an announcement as to the timetable

This is the worst place ever
- there is homeless sometimes stepped inside the building and one time threatened me with the needle.
- the price is too much for the space with nothing .
- people are mean, depresses and nosy. I am the one who changed the pet policy here. Before I moved in, no pet allowed. However, after I kept bringing pet, people followed me and the policy changed. However, no one appreciated and now trying to stick into my pet sitting business.
- all of the building I go to get dogs to walk accept petsitting if it's there is your job, but this building is being mean.

I've been living in their studio apartment for more than a year, and the only reason I had to stay more than I planned was my visa, because I lost my sleep and my mental health while living in this building. If I could, I'd give 0 stars, or negative.
First of all, the whole building is infested. Roaches and roaches of all kind and sizes everywhere, both inside and outside the building AND your apartment. Usually alive, not dead. I've been using all methods I know to keep my place clean, and there was always one in the kitchen sink at night, every, single, time.
Also, management as a whole is

Do not if you are moving to La to get your life started or just moving I repeat do not move here... this place is horrible , un sanitary , and is not meant for humans to live in ! My ceiling fell in on me while I was in the shower , after my numerous attempts to get some justice through them for the mental , Physical , and the finical burden I have endured through this ! they will not make the situation correct ! With lies and promised to get you to continue to stay !! This is the worst thing To ever deal with.all I can say the test

I moved to California a couple months ago and needed an apartment on the fly, I did my research on finding a place that was centrally located in the city and near the job I ended up taking. When I read the other reviews from past residents, I was skeptical, if not down right concerned. I had seen multiple comments saying the building was dirty and had bugs, but I also seen comments saying the building was being renovated. I thought I would roll the dice and see if the comments of past residents were just disgruntled customers. Without a doubt the comments were left by disgruntled customers, since

I moved in last weekend and did not have a chance to see the place in person until the night before move in, which I know is risky! But I was very pleasantly surprised! The common space is clean and well-updated, the security staff is very kind and helpful, and my unit has vintage charm while still seeming brand new! The Community Manager, Maira, has made my move SO much easier. She is kind, attentive, and responds promptly to my questions, requests, and concerns. The other residents are very friendly as well; this is the kind of place where neighbors introduce themselves to you when you move in

My experience has been amazing ! I love coming home to Kipling . Maira is awesome, super friendly, and always quick to accommodate whatever I need . The laundry room has an app that makes it convenient to use and they are updating amenities all the time . I recommend it to anyone looking for a studio apartment . It is a perfect place to live and an easy commute to anywhere in LA .

Moving from Monrovia to Koreatown and I came across this hidden gem Kipling Apartments... toured the place and it was perfect! The renovation and hotel vibe was amazing. I met with the community manager Maira, she was amazing...answered all my questions, very welcoming & very professional. I hope to call Kipling apartments my new home.

The property manager is nice but whoever does renovations or touch up for the property does no care. They do the bare minimum. Be sure to look at the apartments thoroughly before moving in. Also my neighbor who lives on top of me is VERY loud. I have complained many times to the property manager and the noise still happens 24/7. Area is pretty good feels safe. Apartments are very small and before moving in it is not cleaned for you. Mine came VERY dirty. The elevator is so dirty. The place would be so much better if the renovations were done right and cleaned. Whoever renovates it seems to think

I've been living here for over a year and have had a very pleasant stay thus far. It is reasonably priced and centrally located which is imperative if you're a young professional starting out a career in the city. Public transportation is very accessible! Management is great and I believe it is because the women behind the team are very knowledgeable and welcoming! They are personable and always respond to emails/maintenance requests within 48 hours but more often than not, it's even sooner than that. I love this apartment and believe it to be a quality, friendly living community

Just moved out from living there one year.. absolutely no complaints about the apartment! Manager on site is Adrianna, and she was more than professional and always available. Maintenance requests , small ones I had, was always taken care of promptly. Never once saw a bug in the unit or building.
Only downside was the parking. It's a nightmare unless you get the permit. Highly recommend it, only thirty something dollars a year. Still not the easiest parking if you come home after 8pm but hey.. it's Koreatown!

This place is great for a the price and location. I lived here and Arianna really provides A grade management skills. She facilitated my move in process and made sure to take care of any maintenance requests at a speedy manner. The building does have a small gym free of cost open 7 days a week. The laundry has a mobile app you can pay with, which is pretty cool instead of finding coins. It is a pretty quiet building and all the tenants are friendly. The parking is convenient if you acquire the parking permit which Arianna provided upon moving in. There are plenty markets and really good restaurants

WARNING this is a very unhealthy air quality situation.
Building smells like smoke all the time, because the pub SAEK DONG JUH GORI (open 5PM to 2AM every night of the week) on the ground floor of the Kipling Apartment Building allows patrons to smoke inside. This has been the case for the last 9 years!
Are you wondering where all that cigarette smoke goes...?
The cigarette smoke mixes with Korean BBQ style on table hibachis then comes out the HAVC unit on the second floor in the courtyard (with no inclosed vent to roof) and enters into all the unsuspecting tenets windows.
In a witches brew

I have been living here at Kipling for 2 years. Arianna, Giovanni and Maria are doing a great job running the building. They are very responsive with work orders getting done in time. I also love all the updates being done to the building! Our gym was just renovated and I love it! The only downer is there is no parking for tenants...bummer! :-/
The building is peaceful, I have never felt unsafe or had any problems with any neighbors. I love that we have a security guard watching the building while tenants sleep.
I read old reviews regarding pest problems. I have never had any issues with pest

Good place to start out living alone in LA.
Was very difficult getting an appointment to see an apartment, but once I got my foot in the door it went very smoothly - in fact, I had to delay my move and when I was available, I didn't have to go through the registration again.
Pros:
Fairly safe area, permit parking north of 3rd (but no guest parking), quiet neighbors, responsive management, laundry room, food pretty much everywhere, 24-7. Able to pay rent via the web so no more unreliable/outdated checks. Rent control. Fairly clean, except on the weekends when tenants/friends are slobs.
Cons

The location of this place is great. A lot of restaurants around here! I met Ariana Meneses to check out some units and she was very nice and informative, great customer service.... the reason i did not move in here was the size of the unit. I was looking for a 1 bedroom , this place only has studios. Its good if you are a student and want to save $$$$
