SLUMLORDS!!!!! I reported mold 9/21/21 and they refuse to hire a professional to inspect. Instead, their “maintenance” men went in and “cleaned” and painted over this and said it was fit for living. I had been having mold related symptoms from it to the point where my throat felt like it was closing up nightly. My sinuses even began draining blood. I finally got them to agree to let me move out without penalty after 1.5 months of poor communication from the office. Then went to move my bed noticed black spots on my mattress. The maintenance man said “that’s it” as if he’s a mold

Ericka was awesome, I had so many hurdles and she went above and beyond to make sure I got in. The communication was excellent via phone and email. Thank you so much Ericka you rock! Since I been here I hate it and can’t wait to move!! The maintenance is horrible took them 3 weeks to put a shower head in my bathroom mind you they never came to check to see if it was an easy fix, like it was! The parking is horrible, for the size of the community there should be assigned parking! Can’t even have visitors!! They shoot every other night around here!! I wouldn’t recommend moving here to nobody

I hate having my own place to stay at residences at brookside i hate this place i hate that place so i pick city heights magnolia place apartment dale street new Iberia Louisiana 1001 for me to have my own place to stay way more better than that so that way i can stay having alot of fun living and staying by Walmart super 1 and all the rest of alot of them stores across them streets because i would never ever kill anybody

Ever since the new management happened, it hasn't been the same apartments. Who ever thought about the name BrookSide needs to be put down. The new workers down by the office don't really know how to do there jobs and new management staff seems like they just graduated in a special ed school. They think they know what they are doing but have no clue the difference between their, there and they're or mechanical stuff. They take weeks, if not months to find out the problem and fix it. Overall ever since getting rid of the old management, this new place called brookside has been going downhill. Also

I have been here for 3 years, Love my place that I call home, the office managers are awesome, from Ms. Tonya, Ms. Eunice, Ms. Kenya, and Ms. Erica, they are a caring group of ladies that go out of their way to help those who first want the help, and ask, for any issues or problems, I don't have any issues in my place, because I have taken the extra steps to keep it BUG free, your home is what you make it to be, the people that live in my building are like family, everyone looks out for each other, I am thankful for the Residences at Brookside.

Miss Erica was a life saver at a very crucial time of my life. From the first day I walked in the brookside office she was so welcoming. I installed fell in love with her personality and I was not wrong she helped me through the whole process of becoming a resident. Providing all the information I needed. Today I am moving into my beautiful two bedroom nothing but positive experience so far. The apartment is so beautiful it is worth the price. Thank you so much miss Erica!

Man listen they have been nothing but a blessing to me. No major issues. The leasing office is diverse, loving, and understanding especially during this pandemic. My neighbors are everything. Great place to stay. Excited for the pools to open. It’s as safe area as well which is very important. Shoutout to Ms. Ericka who has been a blessing in the leasing office.

The staff were very professional. I loved the appliances on the renovated apartments. Shout out to the team for really going above and beyond in helping me.

My husband and I moved here July 2020. The office associates are very warm and helpful. The property is awful and very poorly maintained. Garbage piles up and sit for days in and around the dumpster. Our dishwasher has not worked since January. They send people to come look at it if you submit a ticket but no one fixes it. Maintenance reports that work you requested to be done is done even if it isn't. It took them two month to install a wash and dryer I requested two months before my move in date. Please do not think the website is an accurate depiction of this place. it is awful.

No air in the unit for almost a week . Daughter has asthma and temperature in the apartment is the same as outside . Ridiculous. Maintenance is pure trash!!!!
