I was looking for a co-operative preschool near East Arlington, and was very impressed by Gentle Dragon. The classroom has everything from art stations that are always open to gross motor play, books, math manipulatives, and a sensory table. They are very flexible about which days your child comes, but there is no afternoon program. The curriculum is run by a veteran teacher, Eleanor Sugarman, and the parents are the helpers, board members, and make a welcoming community.
