I have always liked this agency prior to dealing with you but today I was disappointed. I had an appointment to view a property arrived on time noone was there called the office and I was advised property is no longer available and they claimed they had emailed me to cancel the appointment. Why would I waste my resources to still attend a cancelled appointment. Professialism is always important please. Jennifer

Giving Lanes 3 out of 5 stars as we've had mixed experiences.
We currently let with Lanes and when we began, the process was fairly simple and Joanna dealt with my correspondence and any queries thoroughly. We were quite happy with the service.
However, since the middle of January (just over half way through our tenancy) myself and my housemate have been receiving emails prompting us to sign for renewal - with no form of communication (either via email or phone) to ask whether we would like to continue or explain in any detail how the renewal is processed, etc.

We Cleaned the property, tried to wash the walls down when we left. Paint used by the landlord was of such poor quality it started to wash off. The house in good condition. Deposit deductions totaling £980!!!
generally had an ok experience with Lanes but the checkout has been handled so poorly. Why not just pick up the phone? instead of hiding behind emails when you know that your deductions are ridiculous. My advise for anyone looking to use lanes be prepared to fight for your deposit at the end.

My wife and I can't speak highly enough of our experience with Lanes Estate Agents, Milton Keynes.
We were so fortunate to have found Lanes when we moved to Milton Keynes, most of the time we were assisted by Laura Hughes. We recently sold our house through Debbie at Lanes. She was absolutely fantastic, right from the valuation through to completion. Her communication was amazing, she kept us informed every step of the way. Her advice was valued, and she clearly has a lot of experience. I found Debbie at Lanes Sales & Lettings MK to be professional and efficient when we were selling our property.
With Dave's enthusiasm and energy and Debbie's patience and negotiating skills they are a formidable team.

Used the Lanes managed property service for 12+ years. Found them very efficient and they provided very good long term tenants. More recently sold two houses with them and again, very efficient and hands on, especially as both sales were quite difficult through no fault of Lanes. We have used Lanes rentals for the last 18 years. I think that this period of time speaks for itself!
Lanes have always dealt with any issues and problems with no hassle for us - we lived in New Zealand for some of this time. What I really like is that we have dealt with the same staff for many of these years. Anne, Mandi, Simon, Laura all fantastic, but to be honest all their staff are well trained and efficient and actually care. As well as looking after us, the management must also look after the staff, as they are not continually changing. Thank you to everyone. Wishing you all a very Happy

We have dealt with many letting agents and the usual associated stresses but our experience with Lanes could not have been better. All staff we dealt with were extremely helpful, professional and friendly.
We were worried that relocating to Milton Keynes would be stressful but Lanes ensured that our move was as smooth as possible. Completion of paperwork online meant it was easy and convenient.
