Trinity is supposed to be a five star review but three is subtracted because of Starla, the manager. Living here is generally nice, room is spacious and common areas are clean. Very close to UW and the Ave and trader joe, just fantastic. I still recommend people living here but expect interacting with Starla would not always be pleasant. I will give you an example. Someone I know send her a email asking if there is anything can help with the birds in the courtyard being too loud at night. A decent reply would offer some sort of help, at least a pair of ear plug. Here is what she wrote back "Are

Have lived here going on two years and really enjoy it. Both units I’ve lived in were clean, with nice layouts - the kitchen pass through counter is so convenient! Maintenance is always on hand for repairs or in case of emergencies - which rarely ever happen. Starla and the management team are really kind and responsive, and unlike most buildings they enforce their rules which keeps the units and building looking pristine! All around great place to live at.

The apartment is a very nice place which is affordable, clean and quiet. It has a good location and is very convenient. And most important, safe place in U-district.
It is managed by the Trinity Partnership and every staff I meet here is very friendly and responsible, especially the manager. The recycling policy is strict but I think it's the same situation for all apartment buildings. Just following the Seattle recycling policy and I never have any trouble regarding this. I don't know why another two reviewers had negative comments but at least I'm happy living here.

As a tenant who has lived at complex for a couple years, and with the recent events that has happened to me, I felt obligated to write an honest review of the place.

To start, there are many benefits of the apartment. The rooms are spacious, decently high ceiling, well reinforced walls (hard to hear side neighbors, but you'll hear the occasional dancing elephants), a patio, gated entry, nearby to many stores, nearby the UW hospital, a package room monitored by management, a decent gym, and apartment management that is responsive to your maintenance requests and questions.

Now, the cons

I’ve been living in Trinity for 4 years now, I think this speaks for itself how great I like this apartment. Great value. Great location. Great management. Manager Starla stood out as someone who is super witty. She’s so witty when it comes to handling difficult relationship situations between residents and residents. Once I had to deal with a loud neighbor upstairs. Starla gave some great advice on how to best communicate the issue by applying her years of management experiences. Upon taking her advice, I was able to reach a satisfying agreement with the neighbor upstairs. The Assistant Manager

I've been living here for the past two years, and it's been a great experience. I appreciate the management and commitment to overall comfort and safety.
The building is very clean with a great recycling and compost opportunity.
Units are well equipped with kitchen appliances and in-unit laundry which work great - haven't called maintenance yet.
Starla and the rest of management are nice and always good to talk to.

I have been living in this apartment for 3 years now and 4th years in next month. This apartment is very well maintained. Although is a little noisy yet it located in the city and it closes to the freeway. It's located in a convenient spot accessible to the bus-stop, stores, restaurants, parks and schools. The management staff are friendly, patient, knowledgeable and professional. They accommodated to my requests and resolved the problems in a timely manner.
They provide an unit service to receive our mail ordered packages, mark them with our unit number, informed us the package is arrived without

I have lived at Trinity 43rd for over two years now and so far I have found it to be an exceptionally well run apartment complex. The staff do a great job keeping the place clean and composed. They are consistent and clear with expectations which is always nice for the renter. Also, the work the staff did to make residents feel safe at the beginning of COVID19 was commendable plus its a reasonably classy place. All around a great place for young professionals and medical care workers who are looking for housing near the University.

I've been a long term resident at this complex for years now, and I really don't have any complaints. The management responds very quickly to issues, and are very accommodating to requests as long as they are within reason. There is a community mail/package room and the management spends extra effort to notify you when you have packages delivered. While the price may be higher than some of the other apartments in the area, it is comparable to the other similar aged apartment complexes. Overall, the complex is clean and well maintained.
Noise and external community is what you expect of the University

I live at Shannon Apt (right across the fancy Trinity) and I personally love it. Keep in mind, it is an old building and it does have some kinks in terms of that. I also rate by how the apartment suits to my needs and the management.
They've been generally responsive to many of our maintenance needs, despite COVID-19. They have a very specific set of rules (recycling, trash, quiet hours, etc.) which they are very transparent about. It's a little hard to adjust at first (the recycling) but they are always open to helping you. in my experience, management has been wonderful and I am grateful for

I live in the Kelly Anne apartments fyi. I think it has been a nice experience living here. It is one of the best priced apartments in the area. The neighborhood is also nice and quite safe compared to other parts of U-district (namely near the ave).
I have found that this apartment has offered everything I have needed. Staff have been friendly to me, helpful with maintenance requests and other issues. I have a parking garage for my car, the 2 bedroom apartment is spacious enough.
The only thing is that the floors are thin so it's easy to hear footsteps and I have to be conscious of my noise

The worst management I have ever seen. The blonde manager lady is so racist towards anyone other than whites and very rude towards all the tenants. She has the audacity to respond in a very rude fashion. The rest of the management do not respect the tenants, they speak very rudely to us as if we are not paying more than enough. They speak to us like we are trash or morons in a very passive aggressive way.
The garbage is a whole another story. You need to spend time separating the garbage at home and even if they find the slightest confusion, they fine you $25 everytime you make a mistake.

Never seen any staff of any apartments are so rude before, made several calls to inquiry the rental information, they just don't respond the mail, when you tried to make the appointment, the staff dare turn down directly by saying 'we are busy, we can't check anything for you, call next week, do you understand?' Very surprised that such rude staff still can work in the office, what a shame.

I have lived here for three years. I used to like this building when I first moved in, but it is steadily going downhill.
PROS: -new building with nice facility
-good location if you go to UW
CONS: -the staff here is dreadful and awful. Sterla, the manager here is the rudest person I have ever seen. Her terrible manner so annoying! Please do not expect her to be friendly and helpful.
-the soundproofing is very bad. I can even hear my neighbor's music and tv shows.
-there are several break-ins in the garage, gym and mail room recently, and of course under the management of Sterla.

Trinity Apartments is one of the very best places to live in the U-District. The apartments are kept in impeccable condition. The building is quiet, The amenities -- especially the fitness room, exterior courtyard, and movie theater -- are convenient, attractive, clean, and in great condition. The building managers and maintenance staff are also as good as it gets. I've lived in many different apartment buildings over the years and Starla is by far the best manager I've had the pleasure of working with. She is effective, organized, kind, and efficient. I could not be happier living here

This review comes after I have lived here, moved out, and starting to look back at things there and all in all, while there were some flaws, it was one of the best apartments in the U-District.

Security was lapse at certain times, my car was broken into once

The rooms were spacious and there was laundry machines in all the apartments. But be aware of the noise due to the thin walls.

The gym is great but the mover theatres and common room have to be reserved in advanced with a deposit which could be annoying at times.

The new manager may seen icy-cold to some residents at first but once you

THE MOST OVERRATED APARTMENT I'VE EVER LIVED IN!!!

First of all, this place is a total rip-off. You're not paying the rent for what's it's really worth.

The building is made from a low quality material. Cheap doors, cheap carpet, etc. I can hear my neighbors upstair walking around their apartment all day long. It's not a pleasant thing to hear when you're trying to go to sleep or study

The new manager is not by any means people friendly or genuine. She doesn't really value her tenant.

For the price of the rent, there should be garbage shute. But, not at this

Too bad Yelp won't let me give zero stars...

I LOVED this place when I came over a year ago. Marc was so kind and amazing and the amenities are amazing (gym, theater, etc.) But since Marc passed, this place has certainly gone down hill fast...

A lot of the crappy things are in the other reviews - rent increases, car break ins (there is NO camera down in the lot), but seriously, the new management makes this place unlivable. I CANNOT wait to move out of this hell hole. Cindy used to be okay, but now she does whatever Starla says, and is super rude when you need something. Starla is super

Please, the owner of the apartment - we really hope you can see this - do something with the management.

Some cars got broke in last month in the parking lot. So the $100 parking fee is only for the spot without any security? Fine. Didn't expect any kind of compensation, but at least apology/concern/follow-up?? - NONE.

Intruding privacy - not much to add more on this, the previous few reviews have explained and expressed well of those "safety inspection".

It is certainly a big lost that our previous manager passed away. In fact, the living environment is still good; assistants

Here's an update- I'm moving the heck out of here. Terrible management, unwilling to flex rules to help tenants out. They declined to allow a service dog in-training in the building for a mere couple of days. The manager didn't have the decency to forward my letter to the owner, took matters into her own hands, and gave me a curt response- NO. Rent is going up nearly $200 next month. I moved here from the Allegro in 11/2009 and let me tell you, I would move back there in a heartbeat. Looking forward to graduating in June and getting away from the crappy management, i.e. Starla Kujath

These apartment buildings are every UW student's dream.

Beautiful, newly built (finished in March 2009), only 5 blocks from campus, and on a relatively safe/quiet neighborhood. It's not on the same side as Greek Row and it's far away enough from the Ave to go without the noise, yet close enough to walk to the Ave in 5 minutes if you want to get food or go shopping. (They're also opening an Expresso and Deli downstairs soon, can't wait!)

The buildings that are neighbors to Trinity consist of Novell Condos, Watertown Hotel, La Terrazza Condos, the Kennedy Building... all
