Staying at The Ambrose has been good. I lived there 2 years, management does everything they can to make sure your experience is good. Caleb, the property manager is on top any issue you have; he’s big on making sure you’re satisfied! Definitely a great place to live!

I cannot wait to leave this place. It’s not worth it so do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Good luck reaching anyone in the office unless you go to the office yourself. Why have an option to write an email to those who work in the office if you’re not gonna respond? It’s just a horrible, dirty, very outdated place and it’s trash. Maintenance goes into your apartment regardless if they ask if it’s ok, nor do they give you a notice that they’ll be going inside your place. When they leave, they don’t clean up and leave a mess on the floor for you to clean up.

Alright, so I've lived here for 2 years. Great location. That's about it. Management is subpar, difficult to get ahold of during their stated business hours, does not return messages left on their answering machine, and is overall just disinterested in resident problems. Security is only for show. Electronic locks are half broken. The gated garage does nothing - I've personally had my truck broken into and hundreds of dollars of tools stolen. Management will also Nickle and Dime you for everything imaginable. Monthly trash fee even though trash shoots are consistently clogged. Monthly

I do not recommend living here. I've lived here for 2 years and I'm so happy my lease is ending.
Management is inconsistent and rude, which leads to confusion about leasing. Nobody could give me straightforward answers and I felt constantly tricked into paying more money.
My apartment AC unit broke for 13 days during the summer, my ceiling collapsed and my furniture was soaked with water, along with several other major inconveniences. There was no rush to get this repaired, and I was offered no compensation.
If you live on the DART side be prepared for disrupted sleep as it is extremely

My brand new 2020 Ford F-150 was stolen from the resident garage 2 weeks ago. The staff hasn't done a single thing to help me with my situation. Nothing but beating around the bush or flat out ignoring my calls/emails when asked to supply footage to the police. You'd think that they'd be ready to help after paying $1700 rent. NOPE. Take your money elsewhere.

Don't live here during the pandemic, especially with a family. They don't follow Dallas county public health recommendations, which have been posted through most of the pandemic.

Public area cleaning - maybe daily at best, which is not enough during the weekend considering there are only two elevators. No access to hand sanitizer in public areas (this is a Dallas public health recommendation).
Safety requirements - removed signage back in August, but keep it on the leasong office so they protect management. They don't care about the residents.
Communication - last update on COVID19

I just moved into this place and let me tell y'all... the price might be right but its going to be hell other wise. My apartment had two problems in the bathroom not to mention paint splattered all over the cabinets from a hurried paint job... but that's not even that bad right? Well my car got towed in the middle of the night, even though it was registered with the building and had a coded sticker.. then on the weekends they leave the garages door open, where everyone out on the town can come in... which due to that my car was broken into and robbed. Not to mention their visitor parking

Apart from Jonathon in the office, the entire experience with this apartment was terrible. Homeless people have tried to live under the stairs in the building twice, by the far door on Elm St. People let their dogs pee on the stairs and the building just leaves it. Maintenance takes weeks to respond requests. I paid for a reserved parking space… that other people would parking in daily. I would email and leave voicemails for the office and nobody would ever respond. Literally never. When I would go to the office to complain, they'd always say they'd take care of it and will have other vehicles

Don't be fooled by the location. this place is run by a bunch of incompetent people. It took them a year to fix the garage gate...and it wasn't fixed. The Property Manager Christy is THE WORST person I dealed in the States since I moved 7 years ago. Ya that bad, she discriminated against me by not accepting to add me on the lease and I have the… grantor and my wife signed it. So if you are a Muslim or an Arab I advise you to reconsider moving there. She has no clue about fair housing laws! TREC will be saying hello soon Christy! In our final inspection the head of maintenance checked out

I was sold on this place as being one of the most secure apartment complexes. There are locked gates at both entrances, lots of cameras and 24 hour security. Turns out none of that is true, my car was broken into in the secured resident garage and the office is now telling me none of their cameras work, there is no officer anywhere close by it’s… just a security hotline that didn’t even know what my apartment was. No help at all or concern for there residents safety, I was considering extending my lease because everything else seemed okay but now I definitely will not be

The incompetence of this office, in my several (3+) years of living here, never failed to astonish me including my very last interaction. I always pay my rent early and never caused an issue. There is no reason I should have trouble as a tenant.
Please allow me to list the many ways that this office completely failed me as a tenant, as well as my… other issues with this complex:
1. Frances in the office actually accidentally evicted me while I was on vacation once. I came home from vacation to a note on my door saying that my lease was void due to non-payment (not true, I ALWAYS pay) and

Honestly, the only good thing about this place is Jonathan, the leasing agent, BA doesn’t deserve him. I’ve considered writing this review for quite some time but naively kept opting to give them another chance. First and foremost NOTHING works. The gate breaks regularly, compromising security (my car has been broken into and I’ve come home to… copious amounts of blood on my door step with no explanation) I’m almost certain the security cameras are broken (managers lied to my face and said I could view the tapes after the break in and then ignored every call and email

Lived here almost two years and had an all around horrible experience. Neighbors and insanely loud, someone started a fire in front of our window facing the pool, another person punched holes in the wall outside of our apt as well. Management did absolutely nothing. Management is just all around clueless as to what’s going on and not worried about helping at all.
Oh people like to also let heir dogs relieve themselves in the hallways as well. That’s always fun.
Don’t live here.

Do not live here at all costs! The garage and elevator frequently breaks, the staff and particularly the management are poorly trained and shady, and it is not a good value for your money. They have lost several of my packages or given them to other residents. The staff is not helpful and when something goes wrong or needs repairs in your apartment they do the cheapest possible fax or take forever just to fix it. It will then break again very quickly. I can live with paying a little bit of extra money for good service but the management here really makes it not worth it. They are very unprofessional

After three months so far in the building, I'm rating Broadstone Ambrose 1.5 stars - rounding up to 2 because I'm generous. I dislike providing negative reviews, but this is warranted. The south elevator is frequently out of service. The security gate for the parking garage has been out on a number of occasions in the only three months that I've… lived at the property. Major security and safety risk. My car was broken into a week ago when the gates were left up for several days. Issues with security and safety are unacceptable.

Great location at a decent price. This apartment is a 30 second walk to elm street and all the great bars in deep ellum. The apartment is usually kept very clean and has a nice pool and a gym. Sometimes the tenants have a bit too much fun but any situation is always addressed quickly. I would recommend anyone who wants to live in Deep Ellum should live here!

While the location is great- I do not recommend leasing through this management company. We were good tenants here for over two years & since moving out, have waited over two months to receive our deposit. They have no interest in doing right by their tenants- the company is only interested in money.

There are other complexes in Deep Ellum with similar amenities and much better service.

It was all fine when we moved in and lived there but we felt tricked when we were about to end our lease. The management office communicated poorly and charged us with a full month's rent because they were late in processing our Acknowledgement of Notice to Vacate. We didn't know until we tried to pay our pro rated rent. They also refused to accept their mistake. We finally had to pay a full month's rent even if we only stayed 3 days of the month because they would use their "preferred Collections Provider and will be reported to the credit bureaus."

But anyway, the apartment
