*UPDATE* I did move into this complex shortly after writing my previous review. I've probably had the best experience, based on the 5+ other apartments I've lived in, here at 555 Ross. Leasing offices and management clearly impact the "feel" of a community, and they do a bang up job here. They are SO nice and accommodating. We were busy, so we didn't get to go to many community events, but they hold them fairly often (2x a month about). The people here are also very dog friendly and generally friendly overall as well. We had a large dog, so we did get a few noise complaints

Beautiful apartments with wonderful amenities. However, Gustavo is a shady manager. While moving in from Michigan, my car was parked in future resident parking and Gustavo had my car towed because I didn't have a guest pass in the window. It is certain that the complex gets a kickback from the towing company. Gustavo sucks

Best decision was leaving this place!! I was harassed for months here by residents and the manager here. They bullied me out of moving out of my apartment instead of dealing with another resident who was friends with the manager who was breaking into my home, keying my car, ect. Don't live here or let their fake bribed reviews fool you. Best decision of my life was getting out of here and I'll let people know daily what this complex did to me.

Living at 555 Ross has been an absolute dream. It has one of the most gorgeous views in all of Dallas, and the most wonderful staff. Melissa and Gustavo were so awesome in helping me find a perfect fit when searching for a unit that was perfect for me and now after being a member of the community for a few months everyone is still so friendly and helpful. The WiFi lounge is awesome to use when I need a little escape for my apartment and need to get some work done, and the gym has an awesome rooftop view. I just wanted to take time to say if you're between a few apartments 555 Ross is a great

The staff is super responsive, it’s a super safe environment, extremely clean and mindful neighbors. If you’re thinking about leasing here, please go see Gustavo! He’s your man, he’s transparent, he caters to your needs, and he’s going out of his way to do things for the building outside of day-to-day tasks! Keep at it 555 Ross!

We've lived at 555 Ross for almost two years now. Moving from NYC to Dallas has its challenges, but finding a home at 555 Ross has been a pleasure. The building is gorgeous. The amenities are fantastic. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The convenient access to downtown, uptown, I-75, Dallas Tollway, I-35E, I-45 and I-30 make it super convenient to get anywhere. Everything is within walking distance or a quick Uber ride away. Highly recommend living here!

What an amazing place to live at! My fiancée and I enjoyed our time at this luxury complex and could not be happier. The management is absolutely phenomenal and always accommodating. They have helped us tremendously with any issues, whether it was minor or major. Melissa is such a sweetheart and truly cares for her residences from start to finish and even after moving out. Highly recommend this place! Would give 6 stars if I could! Thanks again 555 Ross! We will always remember this place as our first home.

Absolute crooks. Moved out earlier this year and had only chipped paint and two small holes from a tv installation as repairs to be charged for. They never sent me a list of my move out charges, yet I keep getting called from their debt collector stating I owe them over $300. I've even been told one of the charges I have is for paint on the carpet, something they have completely made up. How is it that a single young adult who has never had paint in their apartment and left the carpets practically spotless is now being charged for that?

Going on my third year here. Ownership changed but the Manager, stayed on, ensuring continuity in the great service in the building! Management (and Services) has always been attentive, responsive, and courteous.
The rooftop pool has the best view in all of Downtown Dallas, and the proximity to great restaurants in the West End, Downtown, and Victory Park cannot be beat. The first floor business center is so good, I refuse to go my office unless specifically told to do so. The gym also has a view that unbelievable, since it is on the roof as well.

I have lived here for almost two years now and it has been amazing! The view from the pool is one of the many things that sold me and it never disappoints. Absolutely one of the best views of the skyline in Dallas! The management staff is always very helpful, especially Melissa!

I have lived here since the apartments have opened. I love my actual apartment unit, the pool, and the gym. The reason I have to give this place three stars is for safety reasons and management.
CONS :
- Vehicle break ins constantly
- vehicle hit and runs leaving dents in your car
- vehicle theft
- vehicles being towed ( having to pay hundreds to get your car back )
- office staff is a revolving door
- we aren't notified when a crime or issue occurs we have to find out from our own neighbors
- Dog park is fake grass and smells horrible your dogs paws will smell after you leave the park

My wife and I lived at this complex for a year before purchasing our home. We looked at the majority of apartment complexes for two months in the downtown area of Dallas before deciding on 555 Ross. We loved that it is a non-smoking community with some really great amenities.
The Location: You are within two blocks of the West End Dart Station making getting around the city a breeze. The D-Link (free Dart bus) runs by the south side of the apartment taking you to Deep Ellum, Klyde Warren Park, Farmer's Market, Uptown, and the Convention Center. No more Über or ridiculous valet parking needed

I've lived here for just about a year. It's been a revolving door of front desk help and management. The complex is nice but the management and surrounding area should keep you away. They are seemingly always under staffed. I struggled to connect with staff in person and it was even harder over the phone. Since living here, I had a car broken into, rent system payment system switching (which caused me to miss and pay an extra $110 due to lack of communication by management), and lost packages. I would highly recommend choosing another place to live.

I have lived at 555 Ross for a year now. I love the rooftop pool area. Everyone that I invite over always wants to take pictures up there because of the beautiful views of the city. The building is brand new and kept clean. The staff is great, they have all been very helpful whenever I need anything. They also have a Cares Team onsite which has been great, they usually put on 2 events a month which could be movie night by the pool, Cowboys game on the big screen with pizza and snacks, chair massage, singer by the pool, breakfast, etc. The Cares Team is a couple that is really sweet and the

Not only are the walls and ceilings Super Thin, but in general the entire building is cheaply made. If you have someone above you, you will hear what sounds like bowling or a herd of elephants every night. You will hear the lyrics of what your neighbor is listening to at all hours of the day / night. We had a shower handle break off while taking a shower and water ran for several hours! Water temp is always losing heat.
But the worst part is the "community". Your neighbors aren

Love the decor in the building and it is very well maintained, the pool area, common areas, and gym are always nice and clean. Staff is so nice and always willing to help! My only complaint would be that there is light fixture in the second bedroom of our apartment, so we have to use a lamp and the closet light at night.
We work in Uptown, so this building is in a great location for us to walk to work, yet far enough that we can separate ourselves from the Uptown area/crowd. Great restaurants around here!

This apartment complexes is one of the best in Dallas! All the great comments from every reviewer are true and I would echo everything they already said, but I'd rather discuss the negatives people have brought up.
In regards to the view: if that view of downtown from the rooftop isn't enough for you, then that might be a downside? Taking a look at where this complex is on the map, you'll be able to tell that only a select few of apartments will have the downtown view. If you're looking for a downtown view apartment I wouldn't suggest living in downtown but instead uptown
