This place is a literal joke. They promise things & don’t deliver. The leasing manager told us she couldn’t show us model because she was living in it and we trusted what she did tell us because her exact words were: “what you see online is what you get.” We relocated here for my husband’s new job and had no choice with this being the only place… available. We moved in Oct 2020. We were excited. The leasing agent took us to a beautiful building and a beautiful apartment for our tour. Let's just say we did not get the same quality apartment. The issues started on move in day. We were called a week or so before and scheduled a 4pm move in. We were called a few days later and were told 1pm would be… fine(different person called.) We get there at 1:30pm and we're told by the manager, who was rude from the day we inquired, that it wasn't possible for us to move in now, that maintenance was in the apartment. If you want to live in a location that doesn't care about the residents, is unresponsive when you have requests and will rip you off when you move out by overcharging you for "Cleaning"...this is the place for you. I live there for 2 years, and I am so thankful I am no longer there.

If I could give this place 0 zero stars, I would. I am currently a resident at this apartment complex and if I had the money to buy out my lease I WOULD!!!!!!! I have had the most awful, unprofessional experience. I have had 3 discrepancies with my payments (trying to charge me more than I owe & stating they never got my payment when it was drafted out of my account, and charged me late fees when they admitted they got my payment and their system was having problems online.) When I asked to speak with a manager, she had the audacity to text me back as a response, not a call. They recently got new

I moved in with my husband after our wedding in November and he had lived here since August. The neighborhood community is very nice. It’s very pet friendly and they offer bags and trash and around the complex for cleaning up after your pet as well as a dog park for them to run around in. Anytime we’ve had an issue I’ve been able to go to Cathy our apartment manager and she’s always willing to help solve the problem. The other office staff is always friendly as well. The community is well lit at night and I always feel comfortable walking around. The maintenance team is always good at taking

You can always tell when apartment communities have resident contests to leave positive reviews..that's when you see multiple 5 star reviews in succession. I lived at Legends for 1 year. I have lived in apartment complexes all over the country and Legends has been the worst. Noise, bad neighbors, gate broken more than fixed, parking issues.
For the cost, there are better options available.

I have lived at a the Legends at oak grove for about 8 months now and I absolutely love it! The maintenance team is extremely responsive if you have any problems and the front office is very helpful. The ground are well manicured and always taken care of. I think this is the best value in the Knoxville area.

The grounds are very nice. A landscaping crew has been working on the property for the last few weeks getting the complex looking great now that spring is here. Dog friendly! Lots of areas to walk your dog with clean up stations placed nearby and always kept stocked with bags. Trash pick up from your door Sunday-Thursday. I have only had to call the maintenance guys once (for something minor) and they were quick to respond. Overall, I have enjoyed living here, have found Cathy responsive to any needs and easy to work with. Overall, I would definitely rate this complex a great place to live! Would

I can only speak for myself, but I’m sure everyone will concur, that if you’ve been looking for a place to call home on the quiet side of Knoxville, the search ends here! Spacious living areas, modern fixtures, well- appointed kitchens, and ample parking spaces make the Legends at Oak Grove a great place for entertaining guests for an evening at home. Another review summed it up in a nut shell. This place will nickel and dime you to death. They charge you $25 mo. (No choice) for valet trash pick up at your door (come on people that's great for the elderly or disabled but those of us who go to work every day literally drive right by the dumpster on our way out) this should be a choice!!!!!! This doesn't include sat. And sun. Then you take your own. Oh yeah that's another extra fee...the use of the community dumpster. Oh and a fee for renters ins of $10 mo. In addition to carrying your own required policy! Oh yeah almost forgot

Worst apartment experience ever!! When we moved in things were good, but after alot of turnover, the office staff was horrible. When we moved out they lied about the cost, they lied about the walk through and we got a deposit check back for $14. The office manager is by far the worst person I’ve ever met! We paid over $5,000 to break the lease,… thoroughly cleaned the apartment, did a walk through with one of the office staff(a very nice guy) and then they stole $236 out of our security deposit. Not big on leaving reviews, but finding the perfect temporary home is important so here goes. Legends is an attractive community. The buildings/amenities look great. The area is gorgeous and set back off the main road. It's gated (most of the time) so that's nice. However, there is NO insulation in the walls/ceilings and you can hear EVERYTHING. From the tub drain being lifted, to drawers being opened and closed, I can hear EVERY little noise. As you can imagine, when you have inconsiderate neighbors, this can become a big problem. I have found the staff to be very caring and attentive

Really enjoyed my stay here! Great area. The staff is so kind & stays right on top of things! From the start of the application process to when we left, Maddie & the rest of the girls were so helpful! Maintenance is right on top of things, which is a plus! I truly felt safe in my apartment because of it being a gated community. I would recommend Legends of Oak Grove to anyone in search of an apartment!

After many visits to Knoxville from Florida over the years to visit family my husband and I would fall in love with area more and more. We finally decided to move to the area. Our first place to look for an apartment was here at Legends at oak grove. We have toured many different apartment complexes but none felt like home like Legends at oak… grove. The office staff was warm and friendly. Andrea showed us around the complex, not once but twice, answered many of our questions even when we were in Florida. Andrea was very helpful. We’ve lived here for almost two months and have no complaints

Our experience has been great so far. Staff is friendly and all our request were taken care of in a reasonable amount of time.
The location is convenient and property beautiful.
With all that being said we are moving out of Legends for multiple reasons. Not particularly because we are unhappy.
When our lease came up for renewal our base rent… increased and we had some new monthly fees. These monthly fees are the main reason we decided to move. The amount of money we were going to be paying was not worth it for a 1 bedroom apartment.
Base rent increased and a monthly pet rent was enacted

I moved in 5 months ago, and having always owned a home, I wondered if I could adjust to apartment living. It was wasted worry. I am so content here that I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The complex is beautiful, maintenance is outstanding, the office staff are friendly, and my neighbors are wonderful. It's peaceful, and the views from my apartment are beautiful. Legends really does feel like home.
