I don't want to make it seem like I haven't had a good experience in Oakhill because I have .I can remember when I first moved to Oakhill it was warm and they welcomed you .But that was when I first moved to Oakhill .I also like to say that every one that works at the front desk at the Rent Office 280 burrows have been wonderful and very perfesional.I genuinely like them now the ones who think they are doing a good job running Oakhill should probably work alittle harder. Let's keep in mind I'm talking about the experience I had with Oakhill not what I heard it's my personal experience of what I

The only reason I'm giving this 4 and not 5 stars is because I haven't lived here for more than a few months. What I can speak on is my experiencing with one of their leasing agents, Andrei, who was the true definition of professional. Great attitude, informative, timely communication, etc, nothing more I could ask for.

I moved to Oakhill Apartments in 2019 Jan, and will be moving out soon. My experiences have been fantastic. The apartments are very reasonably priced given the great location. I live a 10 min walk from UPMC (where I work). Oakhill is centrally located with great bus connections to downtown, Liberty, Lawrenceville etc. It is also just 15 mins to Forbes and Fifth, where a lot of nice coffee shops and restaurants are. Additionally there is a fantastic gym, 2 pools, and even tennis courts. The management office is very friendly and helped me to settle in nicely. Can definitely recommend this place

Had a pleasant experience with a maintenance request. The request was resolved swiftly. So far I haven't faced any issues. Also, I really like the layout of the townhomes here. I haven't used any of the community services like swimming pool, sauna or gym yet. Will update my review after some time again.

I really don’t understand the negative reviews for this complex. I’ve been living at Oak Hill for almost two years now and it’s been a wonderful experience.
To start, the leasing staff are so pleasant to work with. As college students, the process was stressful and confusing to us. But Andre was so helpful and communicative that we felt confident in our application.
My roommates and I have lived in two different places within the complex. We went from a building to a townhouse to accommodate another roommate. Both of the buildings were really nice and our neighbors were never an issue.

Overall the apartment is amazing. But I want this to be helpful to potential tenants so let me divide this comments to the pros and cons- something you will not be able to know from the quick tour or the brochure they hand out.
Job: Post-doc in UPMC
Move-in time: almost 2 months
And I'm Chinese.
Pricing is reasonable, for me. Also I love the size it's so big. There are bus lines nearby, very convenient. The management office is efficient enough in case of emergency repair, but remember to state your need clearly, such as the time for repair, or if you want the crew to come by when

This is one of the worst places I lived in for the following reasons:
1) Parking lots are not assigned, and it is always a problem to find a place to park despite assurance from the leasing office that this is never a problem.
2) Deliveries get lost/stolen. They are frequently left in the porch, where the mail courier doesn't have access to the building.
3) The mailboxes are tiny. Mails end up being left outside.
4) Floors in the hallways are spotted with dogs pee.
5) You can't email the management office. They are only available by phone, and they are closed in the weekends. In my experience

To preface my review, I've lived at Oak Hill for 1 year and 9.5 months so I've had plenty of experience with them.
First things first, when I tried to apply for housing there they gave me the run around and I called everyday for 1-2 weeks and kept transferring me to the outsourced call center which then transferred me over to leasing office who never picked up. I must say, the people at the leasing office are very professional and kind people when they are able to be reached.
Now onto all the issues you will encounter at Oak Hill. First off, the management office as a whole is always

SAVE YOURSELF! DO NOT RENT WITH THIS COMPANY!!! After over TWO YEARS at this location I am so happy to b taking my money elsewhere! I wish I could have left IMMEDIATELY after move in. The management is terrible and unprofessional. The apartments were built with shoddy workmanship, and continue to be poorly maintained. I am an asthmatic and my apartment constantly smells of weed or cigarette smoke. Neighbors blast music or drunkenly buzz my apartment at all hours of the day and night. The smoke detector in my apartment was broken for A YEAR before anyone addressed my many maintinence requests

Staff in the leasing office are extremely helpful and very nice. Maintenance are also helpful, but are rarely on time and on multiple occasions would receive calls later asking if I still wanted the service that was completed months ago, so very unorganized. In all honesty, oak hill apartments were not for me: a pitt graduate, and now grad school student at pitt. After living in south oakland for 4 years (which is subpar to say the least) oak hill provides very nice living options. However, it is by far surrounded by a very bad crowd. Get ready for music blasting 24 hours a day, while cars wait

This is the best apartment I ever lived in. The environment is good, clean and quiet. The neighbors are friendly, nice and good to get along with. Especially the leasing manager and staffs, they are the best people I ever met in USA. They are very warm-hearted and helpful when you contact them for some issues or suggestions, etc. I would definitely recommend this apartment to all of my friends.

Living at Oak Hill Apartments was the worst mistake I EVER MADE IN MY LIFE!! Not only was the staff rude, they could have cared less about me as a tenet. Due to a clerical error in December of 2011 I was billed for past due rent. I wasn't made aware of the error until I was sent an eviction letter telling me I had move out in TWO WEEKS. After getting the situation "handled" by the Property Manager Sonya, I was sent an eviction notice EVERY SINGLE MONTH I lived there. EVERY SINGLE month they would "apologize" and tell me not to worry about it. Upon moving out I talked to
