Yoga Momma
CLASSES ARE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE - LIVE & ON DEMAND through our ONLINE STUDIO! We treat our practice as a "moksha shastro" - a liberation teaching for all - so that we may elevate and lift all beings into living freely. We empower women through the whole practice of yoga, promoting health, self-understanding, and connection as we transition through our lives.

I have been teaching women for 15 years and my is 1) to make the teachings of yoga practical and educational while honoring the tradition and 2) to help women overcome obstacles to feeling and living in their inherent beauty. I've practiced for over 25 years and have extensive training and experience in perinatal yoga, reproductive health, menopausal support, and am passionate about what I do!

Jen Keeler, E-RYT 500, YACEP, & RPYT has spent her yoga career serving women. After following her passion as a student of yoga for nearly a decade, she began teaching as "Yoga Momma" - a name her students affectionately called her - in 2005. Her teaching grew out of an understanding of the challenges faced by all identifying women, as well as from her deep love of yoga.

You can tell new moms don't have time for Yelp reviews by the dearth of reporting on this great place! The Thursday drop-in classes are great. They're totally geared around taking care of the physical recovery and maintenance of new moms, while actively welcoming and involving the babies. It's a surprisingly cozy space for being in what looks like an old school basement. The instructor kindly bounces babies on the ball if they fuss, giving the moms an excellent respite to stretch and unwind.

I have been attending Yoga Momma for two quarters now and it is easily the best evening of my week. I look forward to the quiet time I get when I walk into the studio and the relaxation and work I get for my body. Jen Keeler (founder & teacher) holds the space for moms weeknights and guides us to move freely in our bodies in order to do what feels right for us. Whether that means moving our body into challenging positions or if it means simply lying on the ground for an hour in the peaceful surroundings. In addition to the physical benefits of yoga, the Yoga Momma community strengthens our

I had never done any yoga before having my kids. After having my second child in less than 2 years, I needed something! For Mother's Day 2008 my mom gave me a summer quarter at Yoga Momma and I've been going ever since. It's what gets me through the week, to know that each week I will leave my children safe in their beds with their father watching over them, so I can rejuvenate myself in a very compassionate place! Jen, who is one of the founders of Yoga Momma is my teacher, she is so inspiring with her passion for yoga, I am now a yoga lover! I also credit my return to fitness

I took the prenatal yoga class. As this was my first pregnancy, it was really nice to hear how other people were doing as they moved along in their pregnancies. It helped me get an idea as to what was normal -- like who knew having leg cramps in the middle of the night is a common occurrence in pregnancy. It was a very supportive and relaxing environment. Prior to starting the class I was beginning to have some back issues, but they went away when I started the yoga. Most of the classes I went were taught by Suzette -- she was great about encouraging people to go at their own pace.
