Deserves 0 stars for treatment of prospective applicants. Staff made a mistake by confirming on the phone that we were indeed filling out the correct application. They then told us that it was incorrect and that we'd have to pay another $150 app fee (despite it being their mistake the first app was incorrect) and refused to give a refund for the original $150 fee. Even if a fee is "non-refundable", it is absolutely ridiculous to make the applicant suffer when the STAFF made a mistake by falsely confirming the application, and telling us to proceed with it. Clearly quality of living here would have

Typically, if a staff member makes a mistake, the staff/company will refund/fix the issue, without putting the financial burden back onto the prospective applicants. Not at Bacarra. I called into the office while filling out our app because i was seeing a different price than what we were told. After explaining to a staff member, they told me that they didn't know why I wasn't seeing the correct info, but that i should *proceed with the application anyway, because it looked correct on their end.* So this is what we did. Turns out, the app WAS incorrect, and we were happy to redo it, until

Will put in a service request and it’ll take them weeks to fulfill it. They don’t designate parking so handicap occupants will have to park really far from their apartments and face massive towing charges because they choose to park on the unmarked curb to be closer to their apartment. They closed the amenities during COVID, understandably, but continued to raise the rent of their tenants. My air didn’t work in the summer and it took them a week to come fix it. Does not care about tenants that love here except when they pay them their rent.

When I moved in at the beginning of September 2021, there was a backup up in maintenance orders due to staff shortages. However, their new hires, Denzel and Brandon, have reduced that! They work very hard and greet you with a genuine smile. They also listen and care about the problems you are experiencing and go far and beyond to fix them. Thank you Denzel and Brandon!

Apartments have a horrible layout. The rooms are dark and you have small windows for rooms. The staff are near impossible to reach while you’re a tenant. We were not giving fobs when we became residents so we couldn’t access any amenities that we unfortunately had to pay for during our stint here. The cellphone service in the apartments are absolutely horrible if you have Verizon or Tmobile. You’ll hear absolutely everything from the tenants above you, the walls are paper thin. Either that or King Kong lived above us. Residents are not notified of violence in the apartment complex, as there

I enjoyed my time there. I was there almost 2 years. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give them a four. At move in Olivia gave top notch customer service! Through out my time there she was pleasant and helpful, always going above and beyond. My biggest challenges while there was with maintenance services. One maintenance man was in my home with an attitude, when the rains caused my roof to leak there was not a sense of urgency to come correct it, and several work orders had to be completed several times as the intial fix didn't last.

I’ve lived here for 2 years and this is the most frustrating apartment complex I’ve ever dealt with.
The residents completely ignore the speed limit by 30 to 40 miles an hour and ignore stop signs— making it very dangerous for people with kids or pets. I can even count the times I’ve almost been hit pulling out of a parking spot or trying to cross the street.
July is in 3 days and the pool is still not open with no opening date in sight. The community has 2 pools and even with all NC social distancing restrictions lifted, I was told only one would be open.
There are also 2 gyms but yet

I'll start by saying I really like the apartment itself. Very nice layout, clean, safe, and well built. The maintenance team is also super responsive and kind.
But if you are lured by the amenities, I recommend looking elsewhere.
The pools are not currently usable. Bacarra failed to communicate clearly regarding reopening the pools (it's currently almost July), and I reached out three times before a response was given.
That said, a property manager responded to my third email to explain the situation. She was kind and offered a thorough explanation and apologized for the situation, which I greatly

I've lived here almost a year. That whole time, the pool has been open a few weeks last fall. They refuse to open the pools even now, after Memorial Day. Restrictions are being lifted in NC. We all want to get back to normal, while staying safe. Public pools are open. Ours aren't.
We are paying for this amenity. When will it be open? No idea. They won't give any answers, or even an estimate. It feels like they are keeping it closed to save money on maintenance and upkeep. There is no reason at all that the pools can't open. At least, there isn't one they are willing to share.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT MOVE HERE. Their office staff is extremely disorganized. I moved out in 2018 without a problem. Then during summer of 2020, I get this bill that charges me for the apartment damages out of the blue. I don't have a problem with paying for the damages obviously, but normally apartments will notify you of these charges within a couple of weeks after moving out. A year and a half later, we get these charges without any receipt of damages, pictures, or information. Granted another tenant could have lived there during this time and also created damages. I saw posts

I just moved back to the Raleigh area and have been searching for very long for a nice place that wasn't overpriced. This place is BEAUTIFUL! I instantly signed my lease the day I toured, the lady taking on us on the tour was not overly pushy...because this place sells itself. For everything you get, washer/dryer/renters insurance/valet trash/pest/and gas all included for an amazing price...this was a great choice and so excited to move in! If I could name my dream complex...between price, amenities, staff, whats included, quality of living (granite countertops, ceilings fans, CLEAN, NEW hardwood

So far so good! Nice apartments and area is top notch, staff in the office have been helpful and kind. Amenities and clubhouse are incredible. Some people have complained that the walls are super thin and you can hear your neighbors moving once in awhile like EVERY OTHER APARTMENT COMPLEX, but I haven't had any issues, maybe my neighbors are nice and quiet? Place is a little expensive, but so far it's been worth it.

Nice space, however the walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbor as if they were right in your apartment. There's also a lack of natural light in these apartments, my light remains on even during the daytime. As people continue to move in, there seems to be a considerable lack of available parking spaces and there is constant traffic behind my building right outside my back door in the form of people walking their dogs or screaming children who seem not to have an appropriate play area.

This is a great community. The amenities are so freaking nice. I recently visited a friend who just moved here and I was blown away by the movie theater on-site. She probably wasn't supposed to be giving me a mini tour, but oh well. The clubhouse was bomb too. They have a sauna...fancy. When I move to the area, I'll definitely have this place on the list, especially if it's close to my job!

I'm really sad to update my review with fewer stars. I loved this place when I moved in but over the last 8-10 months it has really gone downhill. There are no longer consequences for any bad actions in this neighborhood. Trash valet runs Sunday through Thursday however people put full trash bags outside their doors on Fridays and Saturdays so it sits in the summer heat and smells. I was originally told fines would be distributed to those offenders but I have yet to see anyone actually receive one. Parking has been bad for the past year and regional management still hasn't done anything
