I've lived at a few places over the years that had rather rude/lazy staff. Not the case at 712 tucker. First, the Maintenance staff deserves a raise. They have exceptional response time based on the tasks and have been nothing but professional while in my unit. I had a washing machine go bad, and in no time it was replaced with a brand new one.

I recently moved out of 712 Tucker after about 2.5 years and was sad to leave! The apartments themselves are beautiful, with great amenities and an amazing location. I always found the staff to be very helpful, and all maintenance issues were resolved quickly. I only moved because I got a new job out of state, and I would definitely recommend living here.

The location, amenities and helpful and responsive property management group at 712 Tucker is unmatched in Downtown Raleigh. It was a true joy to live in such a vibrant and convenient neighborhood. The building was managed and maintained by the most professional group of people who were always helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this building.

Seriously - live anywhere else. This apartment complex is terrible. Summary of problems: mold in the windows and washer, cockroaches throughout the building, leaking windows and doors, absolutely zero sound proofing from the street.
The apartment was disgusting at move in - the washer was coated in mold and someone else’s pet fur. They “cleaned” it by wiping out the pet fur, but you could see that the mold was growing into the rubber of the washer. Took them over a month to replace our washer.
On top of that - there was (and still is) mold growing between the window panes. We were consistently

Our experience has been great! We love how beautiful the complex is and our location couldn't be better. We really appreciate how transparent and helpful Ms.V has been and really look forward to our stay here. I do hope they open up the pool/hot tub soon, because that was a big selling point for us.

Lived in this complex in 2015 under different management company and wasn't satisfied with response from staff to a persistent issue with my apartment. Decided to give it another chance under current management company and what a difference! Fantastic leasing team, responsive, helpful maintenance staff, apartment was in great condition and competitively priced for the market. Can't say too many good things about my experience with 712 Tucker this time.

Please do yourself a favor and don't live here. Downtown Raleigh is a great place to live but 712 Tucker is terrible.
1. Safety: Security in this place is atrocious. Doors and gates are constantly broken, so pretty much anyone can walk right into the building. I've had my door kicked in and my neighbor had a brick thrown through her window. You can also find homeless men sleeping in the common area very often, so enjoy those early morning walks with caution.
2. Fire Alarm: It's kind of weird to complain about a fire alarm system but the alarm in this place goes off all the time. At least once

Had a terrific time here at 712. The apartment complex is fab, as central to the hub of Raleigh as you can get and a terrific place to call home. Unfortunately for me, it's also just around the corner from the best pub for miles around so I left a few pounds heavier than when I arrived. The entire management team is a true pleasure to work with (thanks to Sandra and Miss V in particular) and are always so friendly to everyone (and their pets). I had to terminate my lease early due to unforeseen circumstances and could not have asked for more from the team in helping me navigate through what was

It’s truly remarkable what the management team has done here. They manage to have the lowest rating of all the apartments on Glenwood South across three different sites. It really takes a special manager to do this. So my hat is off to you team 712 Tucker. Congratulations on the race to the bottom, you’ve won.
It’s unfortunate that Nordblom… hasn’t made some changes here. The building would thrive with a change in the management.

I truly can't imagine anyone who rents at this community renews their lease for a second term. I choose this apartment because I loved the look and location and didnt want to have to move after my lease ran out. Unfortunately, as you can see from all the other terrible reviews, 712 Tucker has some incredibly serious health, safety and communications concerns.
1) The fire alarms go off monthly, if not more frequently (conveniently happens in the middle of the night and go on for about an hours before someone turns them off). This is obviously a huge concern to the safety of all residents. When

The maintenance staff is AMAZING! They make repairs quickly and Ian and Mike are spectacular. I had a strange unforeseen emergency and Mike came as quickly as possible to resolve an unusual situation. He went above and beyond what I think most people's expectations would be. It wasn't just a job to get it done it was genuine care to make sure a resident was safe.

I've been living here for a couple of months now and absolutely love everything about the place. When I moved in, they had just put in a brand new stove, refrigerator, and washer and dryer. Maintenance responds within the day you request or the next morning depending on what time you and it in. The gym is never super packed and has a fair selection of equipment to use. I was shocked that someone said there were cockroaches all over bc I have never seen one or any type of bug in the apartment. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends, the rent is lower than any of the surrounding

Just moved in. The transition into 712 Tucker couldn't have been more inviting. The management staff are all personable and engaging. Ms. V was my leasing agent. Apart from being friendly and welcoming, she was responsive, and knowledgeable in the functional and operational components of the property. Moving can be very difficult at times, but working with the 712 Management Staff, and Ms. V, has made this a seamless transition. Five Stars!

I truly hate going public and speaking ill about any company and please just take this as what it is, just my view of things as a current resident. This place is livable and that's pretty much it. If you do the tour with them make sure you check out the floor you will be living on as some floors are disgusting. The air vents here are appalling. They recently downsized the gym SIGNIFICANTLY to add office space right in the front lobby. They updated the gym equipment but now only have half of what they had before. I won't mention staff as other posts have covered that, I'm just sick
