I have lived in this apartment complex for almost 2 years. The location of the apartment is beyond fantastic. There is almost everything you would need either walking distance or just a few min drive at most. The apartment manager is young, cool and actually cares about her job... and because of that the rest of the office staff is also awesome.
Other apartment buildings nearby are great too but the reason I chose Edison Lofts was due to the floor plans/size to cost ratio. I couldn't justify paying similar or more in rent compared to Edison but get a 2x2 closet or a squished apartment etc.

The apartments are really nice, but the staff is horrible, the ladies at the office are very rude and discriminated people because of their accent and looks the elevators do not function properly and have been damaged for more than 6 moths, they charge trash pick up and it’s only five days a week and there is not trash Shute and you have to keep trash in you Apartament for two days and many times they don’t take more than 2 bags. I really wants to live here because this is one of the best location in the area but they need to do something about the staff.

Out of all of the apartments in all of the states that I have lived in, this one is by far my favorite! All of the amenities are always clean and cared for. The maintenance guys are awesome and everyone in the office is super friendly and helpful. The apartments themselves are beautiful and for such a large building, it's pretty quiet! Neighbors are friendly and respectful. Awesome location downtown near multiple bars, resturants and stores!

The location is awesome, right in downtown, near the Plaza, near a bunch of restaurants and offices, and close to Moore Square bus station. Street parking is usually always full, but there is a 24x7 public parking in the RedHat building across the road if you're having guests over. The apartments and facilities are great, plus the rent is pretty reasonable. The staff is very helpful; Kristen in particular is always great to talk to. The move-in and move-out processes were very smooth too.
The biggest downside of living here is probably that it sets your standards too high, which I realized after

The location of The Edison is the main reason that I chose this apartment complex. It is walking distance to coffee shops, the best restaurants, and museums all over Raleigh. The apartments themselves are spacious and equipped with beautiful kitchen appliances and countertops. The reason I only give them 3 stars is due to several small features that bug me on a daily basis. The second bedroom, which I live in, does not have a central light on the ceiling or a fan like the master bedroom. Every week at least one of the elevators are broken. Unlike Skyhouse, they do not have a parking validation

We're empty nesters from Raleigh and decided to sell the house and move downtown to where all the action is......and there's a lot of action for sure. The atmosphere is so vibrant, not just in the building but all over. We love the layout of our 1 bedroom and large patio overlooking the courtyard. The whole staff (Ashton, Kristen, Lindsay, Chad and Jarro) are great. Great access to affordable parking and many many restaurants, bars and music venues. We love the fact that there's always something going on on Fayetteville Street.

If you're looking for great amenities and an awesome location in downtown Raleigh, Edison Lofts is your best bet. I did a ton of research before deciding and landed on Edison because they have the cheapest cost per square foot and the best location. The events they provide for residents are a fun and easy way to meet neighbors. Everyone is really kind and super dog friendly.

Awesome place to live. Kristen was really helpful with the move in process, great community. Really spacious and clean common areas. Limited parking for guests but that's anywhere in downtown Raleigh. I highly recommend the Townhouses if any are available :) they are really convenient (no elevators or having to come down to let guests in) while still getting all of the apartment amenities at a great place!

Boutique hotel vibe within vibrant downtown Raleigh. The design of the building is well thought out and the staff is eager to help.
Kristin, Becki and Ashton have been nothing short of amazing in my transition into my new place. When they say "pet friendly" they really mean it.
I recommend The Edison Lofts to anyone that wants to experience luxury living at an impeccable value.
