Response to owner: Your new leasing office staff IS the major cause of most of our problems. It's okay our family has chosen to go a different route when this lease is up. If you are still interested in our feedback I will be more than happy to write you a letter detailing all the issues, and I mean serious issues we have had mainly since resigning our lease. Thank you for your reaching out with concern at this point.

I visited 927 West Morgan in search for an apartment for my daughter. I was delighted to have the opportunity to meet Cynthia. Cynthia was very informative, extremely professional & truly made me comfortable as a Mom leaving my daughter in the hands of the community. Thanks Cynthia for your assistance.

So far, the experience of living here has been "so - so". Balance of good and bad. After COVID, it has worsen. Cockroaches are a problem, even though our home is clean. There is no specific parking space for residents, which is troublesome at night bc of HIVE Nightclub. Resident Services is little responsive. In fact, I have been banned from posting in the community wall. I guess freedom of speech is limited. The reason I stay is because of walkability to downtown, location is GREAT.

The only good thing was the convenient location to downtown. The first day we moved in our washing machine flooded and the water smelled like sulfur. We were told someone would come and clean our carpet but that never happened, even after we reached out multiple times. The leasing office barely responded to us, we had a bad cockroach problem, and on top of it all the balconies on our side of the building were leaking and workers were constantly coming through our apartment when we were working from home. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was a resident at this building until recently when my house was done with construction.
The location is very close to downtown and you have great access to everything. You can be right near downtown without paying the insane downtown prices. The prices here are very reasonable compared to everything else in the area.
Dealing with April has been absolutely great. She’s been a pleasure to deal with start to finish. Always very friendly and responsive. She’s always gotten anything dealt with in a timely manner. Dealing with April has been part of the best part of living here. I’d highly

I'll start by giving credit where credit is due. 927 has a nice community of residents and is a good place to move if you're looking to make friends with some neighbors. However beyond that, I don´t recommend this apartment building. It´s what I call fake-nice. The units photograph well and look great upon first glance, but you quickly notice how cheaply everything is built and assembled. Think scuffed/dinged cabinets, stained bathtub rust, and poorly stretched carpet.
After a 6-month lease, I decided to vacate. I was extremely disappointment with the management's attempt to

These folks come back six months after we have vacated the apartment and have a $400 charge for smoke. No one smoked in the apartment plus they sent back our original deposit 5 months ago minus what they thought needed to be fixed. If you rent here, prepare to be screwed 6 months after you cut ties with 927 W Morgan Apartments.

It's a bit of a mixed bag. The complex gives off a decently nice facade: good location, rent isn't too expensive (although it's certainly not cheap), and the apartments seem nice enough. However, the two years I lived here were kind of maddening. The both years I dealt with noise from two different neighbors. When I tried to remedy the situation either through direct communication with the neighbors I had terrible results (including a drunk man yelling at me) and then when I went to management they told me their hands were tied until they have a police report (I'm not a snitch

I've lived here for 1.5 years. Parking has ALWAYS been an issue and now they implement a parking pass rule while I am away and Towed away my car. I was also given no help from the leasing office as well. I've also had countless maintenence issues with my laundry machine and mold in apartment (wasnt even clean when I moved in). I would strongly Recommended AGAINST LIVING HERE unless you like paying extra money for no reason.

Its unfortunate that only people who leave reviews have bad experiences. I have lived at several apartment complexes and this is by far the best one I have been at. Living at 927 was a great experience for my fiancee and I. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is fun to hang out with them and neighbors at the many community events! If you like to have fun this place is for you. Nikki and John plan fun events for all tenets. Overall a great community.

I lived at 927 West Morgan for almost all of 2016 and a few months of 2017 before I recently bought a house. I agree with Amanda H., that the rating for these apartments is unfairly too low due to what appears to be problems with it opening up years ago. I did not experience any of the problems mentioned in some of the other reviews. I really enjoyed living here! The workers here are really nice. The free weekly yoga cIasses were great. I especially enjoyed the monthly free brunch usually by PG Werths and some of the other perks.

Nothing improved while I was there...
- Hallways stink of stale trash and weed. Maintenance comes by (daily?) and sprays in an attempt to cover it up.
- Residents are almost entirely young, partying, college-types that will be loud at all hours. We had a drunk idiot trying to force their way into our apartment at 3am at one point.
- Turnover in management was constant and ridiculous.
- Paperwork was misplaced, filed incorrectly
- Staff was seen regularly partying with residents. Completely unprofessional IMO.
- Smoke alarm STILL went off EVERY time we used the oven. It was 100% clean, they

Okay, okay. It's time to set the record straight here.
I've lived at 927 West Morgan for more than a year now, and yes - when I first moved in, things were definitely... off. The management was brusque and uncaring, the property was not well-maintained, and yes, there was an issue with the fire alarms. Our first 4 or 5 months was rough.
But then, miraculously (and probably after all of the one-star reviews here), someone up the ladder decided to make some big changes around here. They brought in a brand new management team, and things have been on the up and up ever since.

My boyfriend and I moved to 927 from DC last year because we wanted to live near downtown Raleigh and get to know the area before buying a home. 927 has undergone some changes in management while we've lived here and I can say that what started out a little rocky ended up to be a pleasant experience. The office staff, especially Nikki, were always very kind and helpful.
Pros:
1.Location: Trophy brewing, Goodnight's Comedy Club, Irregardless, and Drink Drank Drunk bottle shop all just a stone's throw away.
2.Amenities: my favorite: outdoor natural gas grills, my second favorite

Do not be fooled by their exaggerated advertising or the promise of "luxury urban living". I moved here a couple months ago and have been completely dissatisfied by the facilities, personnel and apartment itself. In fact, I am so dissatisfied that I am currently attempting to break my lease. The apartments themselves are poorly constructed and designed. The cabinetry and appliances are cheap and were either hurriedly installed or installed by sub-par contractors.
The management office: initially they were extremely helpful and courteous. However, the moment I had a complaint they became

I have lived here just under a year now, and have wanted badly to be able to write a good review, unfortunately all of the kinks and problems that plagued this place when it first opened have continued almost a year later..
927 W Morgan is a place with a TON of potential, unfortunately is has been poorly executed thanks to rushed construction, cutting corners on amenities, cheap infrastructure, and poor management transparency. It a beautiful apartment, located perfectly between downtown and NCSU in a neighborhood that's quiet and safe. Again, lots of potential.

The fire alarms have gone off AGAIN. This time no fire and no water leak! A broken fire alam I was told! Yes the fire alarm went off last week for a water leak, but it's happening all the time. The pipes need to be worked on. Keeping the building in working order (without faulty pipes) is a must and not being done appropriately. The many animals in the apartment are being tortured! The managers are becoming extremely rude and are very quick with excuses but haven't done anything for the residents to try and make up for the almost weekly inconveniences.
