DANGEROUS APARTMENTS!
The first 3 months were okay, our neighbors were very loud and the whole complex seemed to smell like rotten eggs. It got worse as the months went on, the pool was never open, (it is not even heated so its freezing) The gym was always closed per some reason, as well as the gates never worked for another ‘reason.’ You really think with all the money these people make they can spend the money to fix their amenities.
Dangerous place to live in!!!! Cars are broken into MONTHLY! 2 of our cars got broken into in a 2-week period. ($2,000 worth of items stolen, as well as my

I've lived here for a little over eight years now, and these apartments are GREAT! Central located (you can walk to almost anything you want)to shopping, restaurants and a IMAX movie theater! They just hired a new landscaping company last year and the property looks very nice. If you need maintenance done. They will get the job done ASAP and done right the FIRST time! The office personal probably put the cherry on top of the cake...Very friendly ladies, who are very professional, BUT if you walk in and just want to chat they will stop whatever their doing and will talk to about just about anything

I’ve lived here for about 10 months now, nothing but rude & extremely unprofessional staff. Pool is always closed or always dirty the gym is always closed or being worked on none of the amenities are available ever. This place is a waste of time and money! Seems like they’re charging everyone to replace the carpet! $1200 for not even 800 ft.² apartments. Not worth it go look somewhere else.

Going on my fourth year here in the complex and absolutely love it. Not bad walking distances from the movies, Target, and several restaurants! Not to mention incredible staff! Most recently worked with Carly and Jessica to re-sign my lease and they were incredibly helpful. Highly recommend to anyone needing to find a place to live in the Springs.

Once upon a time these were great apartments for hard working people who desired an affordable, safe and convenient place to live. Now, these apartments are price gouging the very ones who have been loyal, appreciative renters. Raising rent almost $400 a month for a one bed one bath apt will cause many to leave this complex. What are they thinking?? Honestly, can they justify $1600 a month for what they offer? A 28% increase with NO additional ammedeties or justification; other than, just another example of Colorado Springs becoming the next California. Shame on this complex for letting down MANY

I lived at First and Main for only 6 months while my new home was being built, but the management made it nearly impossible to work with. I am happy to say the area was nice, the apartment was okay, but the employees in the office were not helpful in the least. They charged me for almost $1200 for a replacement carpet. I took good care of the apartment, especially as I knew it was only temporary lodging. Yes, I have dogs, but they are house trained and didn't make any messes. But still, $1200 is worth it to be done with this place.

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to First & Main, all of their staff, but especially a big thank you to Terra and Erica! They have been accommodating, super helpful, and extremely nice! They’re quick to help with whatever you may need! The apartments, as well as the amenities, are great. And you're so close to so many stores, restaurants etc.

My wife and I lived here for a little less than 2 years. We are a military family and I was stationed on fort Carson. In short, living here was generally a positive experience. First the negatives, the drive to fort Carson doesn’t seem like it would be a big deal. Quick 20 minute drive. Until you realize the traffic on powers is horrible and the lights are all jacked up so they take forever. That’s not the apartments fault of course. Just a heads up. The management and staff does come across as a bit short with people when you’re dealing with them but maybe that was just me being sensitive

Editing this Review: The apartments appear to be under new management (or at the very least have a fully new staff) who are exceedingly friendly and helpful. The apartments are nice with some quality appliances and I can absolutely recommend them now for anyone looking for a place to live in eastern Colorado Springs! The only heads up I could offer is that the way the apartments are numbered/addressed does make it difficult for delivery drivers to find the correct apartment at times. Not a show-stopper by any means, simply a few wrongly delivered packages here and there.

The management is terrible. I had submitted a few maintenance request and they never responded. Almost every interaction with the staff was unpleasant. The way they treat the residents is unfriendly.
Upon moving out they charged me a cleaning fee that was wrongfully charged. The assistant property manager told me to stop emailing her about the issue when I wanted an explanation. If I am going to pay for something I want to know where my money is going but they told me no and to stop emailing them. I have lived at many other apartment complexes and this is by far the rudest staff I have met.
